We found ourselves in quite the predicament, as he was too young to board at a kennel. We reached out to Doris and she made a special exception to accept him into her board and train program when he was only 10 weeks old... When she dropped him off after the program was complete, we had an 11.5 week old puppy housebroken and sleeping through the night with no crate accidents. What surprised me the most is that he patiently waits for you to open his crate and invite him out, he waits for you to invite him to go through the front the door and also waits in his "place" while you get his food ready. In addition to being such a patient sweet boy, he also knows how to sit, lay down, roll over, shake, spin right, spin left, leave-it, play hide and seek, and stay!! She also introduced him to swimming in her swimming pool and socialized him with multiple safe dogs and people. She was very responsive, professional and kept us posted daily on his progress and adventures. We felt at ease knowing he was in such a loving home. This is truly her passion and it shows through the wonderful work she did with sweet Chewy. We LOVE Doris and can't recommend her enough!

We missed him like crazy and worried about how he was feeling. Dennis actually had us come in halfway through, showed us what Carson had been learning, and said something that I keep thinking about: Carson wasn't missing us. Not because he doesn't love us, but because dogs live in the now. He was busy, focused, doing his thing. We felt so much better after that. Carson came home happy and calm and confident. He understood the rules and felt good about it. And he wasn't (as our son put it) a "bot" now - he was the same sweet and goofy pup but now, he could follow instructions and maintain self control when we needed him to. The staff were also straight with us about the fact that he'd have setbacks. That's normal. They spent a lot of time explaining what you do when it happens. In fact, they spent almost an entire day with all the families at graduation - going over what the dogs learned, getting you hands on practicing how to do it, answering questions, and really teaching a ton of helpful information. We're about to set up our in-home training visit, which will be for all of us, including our three kids - really great to get everyone aligned with Carson's training. The Dog Knowledge is fantastic! We are members now and plan to board our dog with them whenever we go on vacation. I cannot imagine trusting any place like we trust them.

Our Australian Shepherd (3 years old at the time) had severe anxiety which resulted in aggressive behavior with strangers and other dogs. Despite working with other trainers, her behavior only got worse- she ended up biting a dog walker we had hired and would behave so wildly/aggressively in public that we got to the point of saving her walks until night-time when no other people or dogs were around. It was embarrassing and we had no idea what to do. We found Lena online and immediately after talking to her on the phone, I knew she was the real deal. After ONE session with Lena, Roxie no longer pulled on the leash (she had always been very bad at pulling) and we already saw an improvement in her social behavior. We had a total of 5 sessions with Lena, the last one being in March of this year before moving to Florida. With each session, Roxie made huge improvements and we were also taught how to effectively reinforce her training between sessions and communicate with her. Roxie is like a brand new dog now. We moved to downtown Miami, so there are people/dogs everywhere, as well as busses, cars, etc and she shows no anxiety or aggression at all. We also adopted another dog in June and he and Roxie are the best of friends. Before, Roxie could not be around other dogs at all. And now, she has a brother who she totally loves! We had 8 Alaskan Malamutes that were all non-confrontational and couldn't have a 6 month 25lb. dog terrorizing them without an eventual problem. He used a few different techniques over the next few visits and Skylar got calmer and calmer.
