    I'm sitting in the parking lot and writing this review. This was my second visit to this salon. My first visit was wonderful in every way. This visit--the exact opposite. The difference was the technician. This was the single most PAINFUL pedicure experience I've had in 25 years of going to nail salons. Absolutely awful in every way imaginable. The technician peeled back the cuticle on my big toe with her trimming tool. I asked her to stop because it was hurting. She kept saying "sorry!" but continued to yank on it! By this point, the cuticle was starting to bleed and she kept trying to pull off a sliver of healthy skin from around my toe! I finally put my foot into the water to force her to stop. The rest of the pedicure was excruciating. The different callus removal solutions, oils, and scrubs caused irritation and a lot of pain to the raw skin around my toenail. And her vigorous scrubbing on the bottom of my feet with the callous remover pad created several raw places that also stung really badly when the products hit them. Torture. I asked her nicely several times to stop using the products and finally enlisted the help of a customer and a different technician to explain it to her. The finished pedicure doesn't look that great either. The gel polish was poorly applied so that it looks like it has already started to grow out. My callouses are still rough and there are jagged edges on my nails. I tried to not create a scene since there were other customers in the salon. But I was surprised when the manager didn't come over to find out what was happening or to make sure I was OK. When I checked out there was no discount offered or any attempt to "make it right" in any way. I paid them $70 ($62 plus $8 tip), but I feel like I was robbed, given the terrible experience I had. I won't be back. On a positive note, the salon is nice and bright. They serve beverages. Very clean. Conveniently located.

    I have been using David for years. Giving him some crazy, challenging and difficult designs he always comes through like a champ. You are most welcome if you just walk in. Smiling faces and friendly voices welcome you. You will be treated like royalty, giving you first class service every time. The Euporia nail bar is famous for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Many services are offered, nails, pedicures, waxing, and so much more. Meet your friends at the "bar" and have a few hours of fun. Having a big wedding, small wedding, bring your brides maids and treat them for a BIG day of pleasure as you and others get ready for the big day. Treat the future husband, all your attendants, groomsmen, mother of the bride and the future mother-in-law for hours of great fun, grooming and looking like a new Lamborghini when they leave. You can rent the whole salon if you choose for privacy. (Call ahead for wedding group appointments, and prices please). I would never think of going anywhere else for having hands that everyone notices. Walk in ugly? Come out looking like a queen. Men are welcome also. So it's like coming home to grandma when you try Euporia Nail Bar. See ya there!

    I randomly found this place and I'm very happy that I did. First and foremost, Salima is so nice!…read more I went in for a wax and she ended up doing my eyebrows too. Let me just say I was a little bit worried as I have never done my eyebrows professionally before (should I have admitted that? *sweat*). It's just that I don't really have that much eyebrow to begin with and I've always been afraid that professionals would take too much or make me look crazy lol. However, Salima calmed my fears and simply shaped my eyebrows for me. Nothing crazy or dramatic, and they definitely look neater now. I guess there is a reason why you go to the professionals lol! As for the wax, Salima did an excellent job there as well. I arrived for my appointment and there was no wait. Not even 10 minutes later, I was done. She recommended the chocolate wax, which I have never heard of before. It smells fantastic!! The only problem is that now I crave chocolate, haha. The Look is pretty new and they are still working on getting their signage out front, so you could potentially miss it if you are not looking for it. If you are facing Publix from the street, they are on the left side of the building. You should definitely check it out before it becomes well known and get busy. I am bringing my SO back for some eyebrow shaping this week even though he doesn't know it yet!

It was my first time! I left there in so much pain (which I knew some pain was to be expected) and when I got home, I found quite of bit of hairs she missed! And, the worst part of it all, she ripped the wax strip so hard down in my Southern region, it tore off a small piece of my skin. I was bleeding! I had to call another wax shop for advice on how to treat this, and how to get this "fixed". It was a rushed job, and I'll never be back! Oh, and she didn't even care to take care of your backside, which is part of a Brazilian. And, when she got finished, she handed me a baby wipe and said, "Here, clean yourself up". Now, I'll be going to a more reputable wax center and paying them to fix her disaster, but it's worth it! DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! You get what you pay for!

    This is the most unprofessional business I have ever been to. I've been to maybe 3 sessions prior…read moreto my last session. My last session was ok nothing out the usual. Once it was time for my next session I didn't get a reminder so I called the store to find out my appointment time. The supervisor answers and informed me that my account was placed on hold. I ask why and she says that the last person to wax me says I asked her for inappropriate activity. Highly upset I asked the supervisor to have that person investigated because that was an accusation and I was highly upset. I went on to let her know how disgusted I was and upset. No one reached out to me to discuss prior but was quick to accuse me. I asked if there were any recordings of conversation and there isn't any. I asked for the owner to reach out. I was told I would be contacted. I called a total of 4 times with no return call or owner. Finally after 3 weeks of no contact the supervisor calls back and says my membership was canceled. Take in mind there was no investigation done to protect the customer from false accusations. The owner never reached out and I did all the communication on something that was 100% inaccurate and unprofessional. Not only did you not protect your customer but you did not hold your staff accountable for falsely accusing.

My reason for giving two stars is because prior to Katy, my experience at LA Bikini was consistently inconsistent due to the high level of turnover with staff members. Some were rude, some inefficient, some apathetic. But when I met Katy, I knew she was someone I had to lock in as a permanent service provider. FYI ladies--when you're getting hair ripped out of your hoo ha, having a relationship with the person doing it is paramount. You have to be comfortable with the person doing it, and the staff at LA Bikini seemed to be so unpredictable before Katy that I almost stopped going altogether. Now, to reach my point for giving two stars: as a business, why the hell would you sever the relationship with one of your longest-employed service providers with whom your loyal clients have built a relationship over the years? As a customer, I feel like the decision to take away someone who provided me with such excellent service was a poor business move. Because I do not trust the service of others who are currently employed by your facility (not saying that they're not excellent staff members--I just don't know them or have a relationship with them due to the extremely high turnover I've observed over the years as a customer), I can no longer patronize this establishment. And that makes me sad, because it's not easy to build a relationship with someone who will be responsible for accessing our most sensitive areas. I don't know where Katy is now, but just due to the sheer lack of consideration that LA Bikini has shown towards its customers in severing a relationship with someone highly valued by those who pay them to employ people they trust, I'll no longer be attending this establishment.

For all of the right reasons - she engages in chit-chat and let's me babble (it's how I pass time and forget what we're actually doing). She's super fast but also expertly thorough. She runs on time and even early if you're there before your appointment start. I've had other great sugarista's too... but Reema is now my girl. My only negatives are (1) turnover seems high which means that my sugarista may change without notice and (2) it's REALLY pink. Like really. They claim to provide mens services, but the pink would be a huge turn-off if I was looking for mens sugar services.
