They have been servicing my mothers car for years. I drove the car a few days ago and discovered…read morethe brakes were mushy along with metal on metal brake noise. Went to Mike's to see how soon the could get to her car for a brake inspection/repair. About a week was the response. I replied pencil the car in and if I find somewhere to get it done earlier, I would call and cancel. The response was "I don't do business that way" I left. I made arrangements for the following day with a national auto repair shop. After the inspected the car, they said the rear rotors and calipers were so rusted they were inoperable and the front were 90% gone. The replaced the brakes. My concern was with Mike's safety inspection and servicing procedures - it appears the brake system is not part of that process.

My daughter graduated from Purdue this past weekend and in preparing to drive home to California we realized for everyone's comfort we realized it may be best to get a small cargo trailer only to realize our car didn't have a hitch. Steve had the parts including the electrical kit for our model car and was able to squeeze us in his day so we could get moved out and in the road before the holiday. Thanks again! I would recommend Kantz's to all the locals and all the travelers coming thru town. Thanks again! We are on the road and because of your service our trip will not turn into National Lampoons Christmas Vacation! Happy Holidays!

He thoroughly explained what I needed and how he was going to do it. When I said, "Can you also check something else?" I had only managed to get out "the car vibrates..." and he finished the sentance with... "at low speeds? Yeah, this should take care of that!" He called while the car was in the shop and said, "You know three of four tires are bald?" "yeah... I noticed that." "I'll get you a quote before the end of the day." Last time I had my tires replaced at a local chain, it cost more than the tires, balancing, and the bumper and front wheel well repairs combined. I agreed and he went to work. When I picked it up, it drove like a dream. "Ebony" has nearly 130K miles on her, but I swear to you she hasn't driven this beautifully since I got her at 600 miles, nearly 15 years ago. Quentin, Shay (next door collaborator), and their teams got my baby looking and feeling great in no time for a VERY reasonable cost. I cannot say it enough; They are WIZARDS. :)

The AAA driver recommended 10MM as a local repair shop and boy, was he right. Even though Quenten had other deadlines to meet, he worked on my car until he found the problem and fixed it - REASONABLE. He is definitely a great asset to the Lafayette community and is more interested in customer appreciation than making an extra buck off them. I cannot recommend this place enough, these guys will get you back on the road without robbing you. Thank you again 10MM!!!!

When the truck wouldn't start, she recommended Ken's Repair Service in Reynolds IN. You never know what kind of repair service you're going to get when you breakdown on a busy interstate and my wife and I were a bit leery. But I could not be more happier with service that Ken's Repair Service provided. Ken looked at the truck and determined the fuel pump was the problem. He even added a little bit of gas just to be sure we were not out of gas. He dropped us off at a nearby Dairy Queen and went back with his tow truck to pick up my truck. It was early afternoon and Ken was able to locate a replacement pump. This was in addition to everything else he had going on that afternoon. It was delivered later that afternoon to his shop. We spent the evening with our daughter in Indianapolis. On Sunday morning, Ken replaced the broken pump and we were heading back to Chicago by noon. The towing charge, labor and parts were reasonably priced. I certainly don't wish anyone an auto breakdown on a busy interstate but if it happen anywhere north of Lafayette, IN contact Ken's Repair Service. 219-863-2990.
