I went in the morning because my skid plate fell. I tried another place and they said I needed an appointment so they could not help me. Once I enter the place, the mechanics came out when they heard the sound and right away took my car inside. I felt valued and well taken care of. They are very kind and willing to help. The manager said that if I needed to replace it, an appointment will be better but that it is fixed now. Their empathy and how diligent they are made me think that from now on, I'm going there for everything my car needs. My car had a shake that was really bad at higher speeds so I brought it in thinking I needed an alignment. To make a long story short, from what I was expecting to be wrong, they could have sold me on work that was way more than I needed. Instead, they did just what was necessary and the bill was unbelievably lower than what I could have even hoped for. Plus, everything feels smooth as silk at any speed now. The guys in there (I was dealing with Andy) were great and he even played with my 3 & 5 year old kids letting them see what was being done to "daddy's car". They were over the moon. It is so rare these days to see both honesty and kindness from just about any business that I am without a doubt in my mind a customer for life going forward. I can't tell you the last time I ever paid a bill and came out happier than before I paid it but here we are. I cannot believe it has taken me this long to start coming here for routine maintenance. I've been searching for a reasonably priced oil change since I got a new car in 2018 (mostly because I was getting tired of traveling 20 minutes each way to the place where I serviced my previous car). After trying places around town, I was fed up with being charged ridiculous, undisclosed amounts just for an oil change. I asked around for recommendations and my best friend told me she has been coming here for years and has always been happy with the service. I'm so happy I took her recommendation. Once again ETD delivers stellar service!!!!!!! So I bought my tires there (this is my second set) and I always get the road hazard. So my right front tire developed an issue and would not take air. this morning Andy assisted me. Now keep in mind Andy usually works the customer service desk....today he walked with me out to my Van, checked the tire, asked my to move the car in front of the first bay. He was able to fill the tire to 35PSI no issue. As a precaution he changed the valve core. tire is as good as new Great service, no Charge and did i mention fast? my appt was at noon, I was on my way home before noon. Just one example of how they go above and beyond....I took my car in, 20 minutes before closing, on New Year's Eve, because my second row seats would not lock in place. Andy, went outside, in the rain and tried to fix it. When he couldn't figure it out, he went inside, googled it and found a solution, went back out in the rain and fixed it! He could have easily said, make an appointment, or I'm sorry I don't know what's wrong, but instead he took his time and fixed it. I would highly recommend them!! read more

Last week I called Andy in a bit of a panic - my wife's coolant system was leaking and not safe or smart to drive - knowing how popular and busy the Wayne location. While trying to figure out when he could squeeze me in, Andy asked me what year and the mileage. When I responded he said "why are you calling me, take your car to the dealer and get it fixed under warranty." Only a quality person and honest businessman would say that! I've been a customer many years and you always take the extra step: Andy on a below freezing late Friday, few years back, you stayed open after closing,to change my battery so I'd have a car for the weekend. Manny, you always patiently explain to me what needs done and why ~ with no jive.You are a courteous and a pro. Acts of kindness do not go unrewarded. All you guys are so Upbeat & polite. Clean facility, clean bathrooms, coffee, etc, Wi-Fi. They will meet or beat any tire price, but I can't put a value on trust. Recent car accident went to my insurance approved body shop ... with one exception, the tires HAD to come from ETD, Wayne.That's how much I trust them. Even the garages are spotless ( I beaked once and the lifts are smooth and perfect, state of the art) Whenever I need air in tires I pull in and it's done in minutes, yea I don't know how to put air in tires, but I make a mean baked ziti ( we all have our talents). I highly recommend ETD in Clifton. I made the mistake of trying to save a few dollars last year by going to Costco. Never again. Big stores don't care if you are happy or not. ETD does. I needed tires for 3 cars in 3 months and have been treated fairly and professionally by ETD each time. You may have to wait a little longer here, but that is because everyone wants to shop there. Got a nail in a run flat tire on my new E class. Mercedes dealer likely would have immediately recommended a new tire installation for $350. My car was also due for Service A, which is a glorified oil change costing $300. Instead of paying upwards of 750 dollars at the dealer, I was in and out for $125 with a tire patch and synthetic oil change. These guys are knowledgeable, professional and quick. I can't recommend these guys enough!! Trusted them with my brand new Mercedes E300. Give them a try! read more

I've always had top notch service from ETD Wayne. I started using them a few years ago on the recommendation of my grandmother and I'm happy I have. Ive received more accurate and honest feedback on when certain services should be performed over my vehicle's dealership. I know a decent amount about cars but it's nice to know they arent trying to pull the wool over your eyes with unnecessary services. Case and point I had a new tire put on last month (nail in one of my new tires) and I have them permission to realign my tires if needed with the new tire. However it wasn't needed so they didn't do it. Needless to say I will continue to use ETD Wayne. read more

Do =NOT= go . . . . ANYWHERE ELSE ! I've been a VERY satisfied customer for YEARS. They have serviced 5 of our cars, from minor to major repairs. They are reliable - and HONEST : Last week my wife brought in her Audi A4 because the brake pads warning light came on. Did they repair front pads, rotor etc for $500 ? NOPE. Did they do the rear brakes for $450 ? NOPE.. After waiting a reasonable time, the technician came and told her "Your pads are FINE, They don't need thing" (!!!) They did recommend front end alignment -- which was promptly done. Damages : $120. Now if I could only get these guys to run Congress ! === As I said - do NOT go ANYwhere else. read more

Ended up getting a flat tire the day right before I was going to Washington DC. The shop was closed but the store manager came right outside in the rain and helped me. One of the men working in the shop replaced my tire with the spare. They booked me first thing in the morning the next day and had me ready to go an hour later. While the people are friendly, and the service is great, there seems to be hidden fees. I went in to replace tires, and they charged me over $20 per tire, for something called "tire protection plan". I was never told about it, nor was i given the option to opt out. Also, when you receive a quote for tires, they don't include of the alignment in that quote. They definitely push you into getting other services you may not want. Going somewhere else next time. read more

ETD Discount Tire Center is SIMPLY AMAZING!!! I reside in NYC, the most EXPENSIVE City in the entire world (pure insanity); and I'm in the market for new tires. I was quoted a remarkable price from Manny, manager of ETD. Sold!!! I dropped my vehicle off, to start the instillation but to be informed that one of my "Wheels" on my run-flat tires is severely damaged and needs to be replaced. Yikes!!! This stopped the tire instillation at my request. Because this Wheel generally cost $$$, I was able to get it at a reasonable price; but it will take a few days. First and foremost, they are not charging me a "storage" fee until the wheel comes in. The staff thought that it was hilarious, that I even asked the question. Definitely not NY!! ;o))) Any who...Manny, George and the entire staff, hands down truly knows the art to stellar customer service. And Ladies...they truly understand what we need, will not take advantage of you not knowing...and will truly work with your budget. I highly recommend ETD. My family and I have been using them for the past few years and are very happy with their service. The manager, Dan, and assistant manager, Phillip, are both knowledgeable, friendly, and sincere. They do everything with your budget in mind. Also, if you bring your car in for something in particular and they find something else wrong, they always double-check with the owner before adding on additional services/costs. I had tires installed here last year, as they had my size and requested brand in stock... Competitive prices for the area and all the name brands...I installed General Grabber HTSs on my car...However just six months after riding on them, they wore down on the one side of the tires...I called to complain about this and took my car into their shop... They mentioned that the tires were installed without an alignment and that and I needed close to $1000 on repairs...I instantly was dubious about this claim and took the car to my regular mechanic...He inspected the items that ETD spoke of and said that although they should be replaced, they weren't critical to aligning of the car...Instead, he pointed out OTHER problems that would effect proper alignment...Hmmm - I now had two conflicting opinions - so I was off to the dealer...The Nissan dealer (I drive an Xterra) directly confirmed everything my mechanic said and pointed out exactly the same issues...This also established that ETD was incorrect in their diagnosis... I repaired these items with my mechanic and my car is as it should be...The tires warranty does not cover them because there was a legitimate problem with things...I now need to replace these six month old tires... My complaint is that ETD just pointed out things that they wanted to fix, not what needed to be fixed...They didn't do their due diligence in pointing out the correct issues and installed tires without alerting me to their impossibility of being installed properly... I have been a customer of ETD for several years, I started hearing the dreadful "squelling" of my brakes and immediately called them. I got an appointment for that day and a complete diagnostic and inspection was performed and yes I needed rear brakes as well as some other problems they found. All the issues were explained in plain language and the work I needed and wanted was agreed upon. Absolutely no high pressure sales just clear explanations of the pros and cons of the various services. As it was late in the day I brought my car in the next day and all the work was performed much to my satisfaction. Thank you Manny and Ed! Im in shock right now. I called yesterday to ask if they could restore my headlights. This idiot tells me yes but I have to wait until tomorrow. So I come the next day and he says ok come back in an hour and 30 minutes. So I go home, then drive back, then I wait in the lobby for almost an hour just for him to tell me that they ran out of the kit. So if you like wasting time this is the place for you. read more

Took my sons car here because he needed new tires. He was prepared to purchase 4 of them. Came in and the guys (Scott and Andy) checked the tires out and said he only needed 2 tires. They didn't need to tell me that-easy sale of 4 tires at about $100 a pop. But they were honest and saved my son about $200!! They are the best. I've brought all 5 family cars (BMW 528, Lexus ES350, Chevy Camaro and Equinox and Infitit G37X to them over the past 8 years or so. I know very little about cars. They have maintained all the cars in excellent order at reasonable prices. At various times I had brought the cars to the dealers and then to EDT. The dealers had recommended services that EDT said were not necessary and they were 100% correct. There prices are generally less than half of the dealer estimate. If they don't feel confident about doing something unique to a particular car- they tell you. Manny, Andy and the gang are the best. read more

I always get the feeling that these guys are honest (and with mechanics it is always the "gut" feeling). I've asked them to check certain things on both cars. They could have said that there was truly a problem but most of the time they indicate that there isn't any. Also, the last time I went to them they asked me if I had AAA. When I indicated I did they gave me a 10% discount. When I told them it was too bad they they hadn't told that when I had brought in my other car a few months ago, he looked up his repair records and then gave me a discount on that repair work too. read more
