I particularly enjoy the birria and chorizo tacos, but I haven't had anything I didn't enjoy here. Is it the absolute best taco place in Detroit? Probably not, but you'd have to drive to Mexicantown for anything similar. Will definitely be back next time I'm craving tacos for lunch during work!

Sidenote: I paid for 2 tacos and a drink for $11. I got another drink and it was $3 more. It seems they may have forgotten I already paid for one drink. Not sure. The non-flavors ruined my desire to return. Im going to the truck up the street to see if they can get my palette back right. Sm

I stopped by a little over a week ago after an event in the area. I ordered the chicken egg roll, elote, and smacho with chicken. I tried the smacho first since I hadn't had it before. I opened it and was disappointed because it wasn't "visually appealing" in any way and I questioned what it was and if it was edible. Unfortunately, the taste matched. I switched to one of my favorites, the elote, next. It wasn't as flavorful as I remembered. So, I went for the chicken egg roll next. Thankfully, it was ok and was the only thing I finished. I'm not sure what happened. But the quality has definitely suffered. I've been a fan since they were in SW Detroit. They used to be unforgettably delicious! Definitely not the standard it was built upon. So, I'm not writing them off. But I pray an improvement happens soon to get them back on track.
