I asked if there was any way to adjust my service, and I was told they would work with me and that the owner would call me that week to discuss a solution. On the day of the appointment, I received my facial (which was fine) and was told again that the owner would reach out soon to arrange something for the unused massage portion. But I never received a call. When I followed up afterward, I was told that because I booked in a group, they would not offer any accommodation--such as store credit or gift card--even after explaining my medical situation. Given that I personally spent $360 and our group spent around $1,800 including tip, I expected a basic level of compassion, especially for a postpartum mom with an ongoing medical issue. I wasn't looking for special treatment, just a reasonable accommodation for a service I physically could not receive. Unfortunately, the lack of empathy and unwillingness to work with me given my specific situation was deeply disappointing. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this spa. First of all, as a professional business owner you should NEVER reply to a question with "DUHH." We're adults, not children. Secondly, I called/texted the the phone number that was listed online. When a business changes anything about their business information, it's up to the business owner to update that, otherwise, don't put it on the customer to make that change. She asked appropriate questions, listened to my skin experiences, current regime and concerns. Along with the facial and light therapy she gave me a shoulder, arms, hand and scalp massage. I was so relaxed it, it was exactly what I needed and was definitely fighting the urge to fall asleep. After my session she recommended a product that I had purchased and I've been using since. She adjusted my balance since it was my first facial and they had a discounted rate for that. Kayla also educated me on the different facials and recommended for my skin type to help achieve my skin goals. I came out of there feeling so relaxed my face was soft, glowing and it felt so elastic it was amazing! I can't wait to return!
