My daughter absolutely loved both experiences, the pre-natal massage and hydrating facial. She was so happy with services as well as the ambiance. I'm new to the area and decided to give this place a try, as my skin hasn't been at its best recently. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Shia. From the very beginning of the session I could tell she was brilliant just from the questions she asked me. Her knowledge of cosmetic skin disorders and their treatment outweighs most, if not all, of the dermatologists I've seen. As a physician myself, I like to think I'm good at assessing this. Shia explained that although my skin type wasn't right for "granular exfoliation" (what I'd received in other facials in the past that I had bad reactions to), I was a great candidate for microdermabrasion. She used this treatment along with quite a few others, always being attentive to how my skin was responding. She gave me advice on what skincare regimen would work for my skin. I can tell my skin is already looking better (less than 24hrs later), and I'm excited to continue with Shia monthly for as long as I live in this area! Already referred a friend to her as well. Go. You won't regret it.

Shortly after, I ended up getting a cold and a cold sore, and now I'm left with a scar on my lip. My daughter also had a terrible reaction--she broke out badly after her facial. Because of all this, I canceled future appointments for my family, and instead of showing any concern, they charged me a cancellation fee. Customer service and management are worse than the service they provide. As a physician, I take hygiene and safety seriously, and this place completely missed the mark. I will never go back and would not recommend it to anyone.

I was informed of the cancellation policy as well and the staff was helpful and friendly over the phone. This put my mind at ease after being previously anxious to try waxing at a spa that I'd never visited. I had such a wonderful experience during my first appointment. My esthetician, Rory Exton, was kind, genuine, and welcoming and put my mind at ease, especially after I detailed my past not-so-great waxing experience at a different facility. Throughout my appointment, she led me through the process and gave me tips and tricks for lessening pain (which worked) and for aftercare. She made me feel right at home and truly safe and the entire staff was just as kind and welcoming as she was. I went ahead and booked my next appointment with Rory and I look forward to visiting Club West Med Spa next month knowing I am in good hands!

I've had facials, pedicures, manicures, and massages here. Every time I've enjoyed my service as it's a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. It isn't stressful or loud. It's exactly the vibe you want when heading for a self care day. The products they use are 100% house-made and organic. I've had skin reactions before, but never here. As a matter of fact, other spas have left my face looking red and inflamed after facials - I leave here glowing. Now I can't speak to any of the other massage therapists here, but Tsondu is who I see any time I'm seeking a massage. I truly feel like he is a healer in some way. My wife and I were in Short Pump and decided we wanted to schedule our couples spa day so she called the Short Pump location. I was sitting beside her and they were on speaker phone while she scheduled. They kindly asked if "your husband" would be ok with a male massage therapist. This is a no for me and always will be. It's my personal preference and will never change. My wife said no and they told us it would be about a month before they could accommodate us. We showed up on our scheduled date after working extra late the day before because it takes us an hour to drive to this location and we know it would take up our whole day. After sitting in my sauna for 20 minutes I sat there waiting for 10 minutes for my therapist, who, to my surprise was a male. I explained I did not want a male therapist. He was polite and I thought was going to tell me to wait a few minutes while he figured this out. Instead he said "go ahead and get dressed and go to the front". So that's what I did expecting an employee or manager to come figure out what needed to be done. It's also important to know once he told me this I told him to tell my wife because I know she would have gotten up and left. He said to me "Oh, she's probably started her treatment". He did not walk me to the front or talk to me after in any way. The staff sat at the front desk whispering back and forth so much that I felt uncomfortable and decided to wait outside. 2.5 hours later I get a call saying it's time for my facial. I explained what happened and told them it was a terrible experience and they said sorry and I won't be charged. She also said she would have a manager contact me. Guess what, not contact has been made to me directly. However, my wife called and let them know just how bad and unprofessional this experience was. The manager, Kendall, agreed and said this is unacceptable and she was going to contact upper management to see what they could do. After Kendall failed to contact my wife as promised she called her. Now Kendall told my wife I lied, that never happened, there staff did nothing wrong and they could offer me 20% off if I come back in. Let me be clear on how I feel about Scents and Serenity. I would rather chew my own fingers off than step foot into that spa again. I will eat the money I wasted on this place rather than be treated so badly, called a liar and listen to the excuses the staff made to protect their mistakes. It was clear and I heard my wife directly state I wanted a female therapist and they agreed and scheduled a later date. Oh, let me also explain that my wife probably hadn't even started her session and had a female therapist. They easily could have corrected this by switching. We would have been completely fine with that. And time wasn't an issue. We started 10 minutes early to the excuse of "you wouldn't have gotten all your time" is irrelevant. Look, I'm sure people may love that place. Everything is good until it isn't and the way the manager handled this showed my their attitude towards all their clients behind closed doors and money is the only thing that matters to them.

It was a different experience from other regular massage sessions. I would advise to do research on the effects of a lymphatic massage and what to expect during and after. The customer service at Main Street Spa was great. The therapist and receptionist were very pleasant. Upon arrival, I rang the doorbell to gain entry. I liked that the door was locked from people just coming in. It added to my ability to feel more secure and that this was a scared and safe place to relax. I liked the use of essential oils and soothing tunes to set my mind in the mood of relaxation. The therapist made sure that I was comfortable and also gave me instructions on what to do as far as food and water for the next 24 hours and not to consume alcohol. The therapist also gave me insight of tense areas within my body. The therapist was very thorough and addressed every area that lymph runs through. The cleanliness and atmosphere was very inviting and aesthetically put together I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment and parked in the parking lot across from West Elm. I had no wait time. It's just disappointing because we spend so much money to remain loyal to this company, that it's strange to even have to ask for a clean bathroom in a medical grade facility.
