The Revee aesthetician who treated me assured me LHR would remove most of my upper lip hair. I bought a 6 treatment package and paid for 2 more. The hair initially disappeared gradually as expected. Dr. Love came in within just a minute or two! I can't recall that ever happening at any medical office I've ever been to. Dr. Love greeted me, thanked me for coming and said it was nice to meet me before telling me how the appointment would go. She started by asking about my medical history, and then looked at my scalp and hair and said she was going to take a few notes and then tell me what she was seeing. I was anxious because I really wanted answers and I so appreciated her thoroughness in walking me through everything. It was refreshing to have a Dr. that understood cultural differences with how Black women take care of their hair and could guide me though this difficult process and provide treatment with that lens.
