So nice, clean, friendly and professional! They speak Mandarin Chinese and English. I made an appointment by phone for a manicure & pedicure for me & my sister. It was $30 for each person. The place was very well organized, well ventilated, and bright. All the ladies there were extremely nice. The pedicure was really relaxing. They exfoliate your feet and the lower part of you leg. They also massage it with a hot stone. It felt really nice. They even hang your coat up for you and help carry your purse, shoes & socks. The manicure was really nice. They were really meticulous and cut & filed the nails well as well as pushing back the cuticles. The drying station is really spacious and clean. They even give you a back & neck massage while you're drying your nails with no extra charge. I heard the phone ringing every 10 minutes, with the lady at the desk saying they were all booked up. I was recommended to come to this nail salon but not told of the "reservation only" policy. When I I walked in, it looked quiet and I believe one of the managers asked me what do I want which is customary. I asked for a mani/pedi and she looked me up and down then looked at a reservation book and said, no there are more appointments available. I thanked her and walked out. However, my gut told me that this is likely untrue and there was bias in her decision. I went into my car that was parked in front of this store and called to make an appointment for a mani/pedi and they said sure come now!!! What a surprise!! When I walked back in you should have seen the look on her face when she realized I was the person that just called. For context, I was wearing jeans, a tshirt and sandals. I am a middle-aged adult, so I was not scantily dressed, disheveled or had any appearance that would be untoward for any establishment. Overall from my experience, this place is RACIST. In 2024, if you care about your hard-earned money going to people that care about doing business with people irrespective of what they look like, then I would NOT recommend Esther's. I recently moved to Long Island and needed a new place for nails. Came across this spot as recommendation and I've been sold ever since. I typically get powder gel and I've noticed a difference since my visit to other salons. Their technique and attention to detail is amazing. I am very picky with my nail shape and to see them spend time on the detail was incredible. I am only giving this 4 stars because of the pedicures. If you are looking for pedicures that actually clean your nails and remove excess skim and ingrown nails, this isn't the place. They typically just clean the surface of your nail bed and paint. I wanna give them the full Monty of 5 stars but I can't. Although it's a very clean new salon. And I am ALWAYS a walk in, my pedicure wasn't as relaxing & attentive as I am used to. Ok ok maybe used to isn't the exact words. Unlike most ladies I don't get to do this often at all. Work boots & work hours are not conducive to mani pedi's for me. Any way, when I do get them, A nice leg & foot massage usually comes along with it before I get polished up. Not so this time. I do commend dude for the plastic liner & sterilized instruments that were used. I got a hot towel & a quick once over with a hot stone. That's it nothing spectacular. I'd come back for sure. I walked into Esther's Nail and Spa at my lunch break following an anxiety-driven gnawing of a meticulously and securely placed full set at my home salon twelve days prior. My nails were a complete mess, broken underneath from my biting and in significant pain. Between Oliver and Connie, they took turns carefully trying to take apart the nails, very obviously working to minimize my discomfort as best as they could. The job was far more complicated than I thought but they made it happen, even gluing one of my natural nails that had cracked into the middle of my nail bed. Coco then manicured my nails BEAUTIFULLY. I walked out feeling like I had brand new hands. I did not give them the fifth star because they were working on other customers as some of my nails soaked and I called ahead of time. I think the job could have been done in a shorter amount of time, but it was totally worth the wait. Will return! read more

Was going to this salon for quite a bit. The customer service is pretty good. They would alway do their best on nail designs. However. ... i started to notice the over filing of my nail & they became super thin. Ive been getting acrylic tips since 14 & never ever have i got a fungus till i started going here for 5 months straight. Right when they took the polish off my nails and discovered the fungus they were all nervous. Then to make matters worse they also cut the side of my finger from over filing & on top of that they stop before painting my nails made me wait 35 mins. While they did a fill in on another woman. Normally let things go but this was a final straw for me getting my nails done here. I have gone back once after that for eyebrow wax & they do a pretty good job. Whoever the nail technician was unprofessional and rude ...Quoted me 75.00 for ombré (ok) then 10.00 extra for coffin shape .. I came in with coffin shape ...then tells me I have acrylic on my nails(and laughs in my face when I tell her there gel) ...and is insisting telling me there not gel .. think I should know ...came in with forever French GEL.. I have only been here two times and I have been impressed on both occasions. They are VERY quick and will have you in and out in a short period of time. I am usually in a rush, so I do not mind the fast pace. The prices are very reasonable compared to other salons in the area ($35 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure). The colors are organized on a wall and are color coded (something I appreciate)! The gel manicure lasted a week and a half. The salon is extremely clean. The employees unwrap new tools for each customer and have a protective and removable plastic cover in the pedicure tubs. I had worn sneakers to the salon so when I was going to leave, the manicurist wrapped my feet up for me that way my sock wouldn't get stuck to my freshly painted nails. I appreciated that gesture because it shows that the employees are willing to go above and beyond for their customers. I will be coming back here more often! read more

I used to go to Esthers a lot when they first opened but I've started to dwindle down because I had a bad experience. Once in a while in a bind I'll still go but I was reminded this week why I stopped going. The prices have increased but the quality of the materials they use has not. I did a gel manicure and pedicure and my nails chipped on the second day. I do give them the stars because the staff is really sweet but I don't know if it's the work itself or the quality of materials that makes my cuticles break and look gross and gel never EVER lasts more than 2-3 days. Makes me sad because I was one of the first costumers when they first opened but I can't continue to spend on poor workmanship. read more

This rating is for the manager. This is The first time I went to this salon for service. I had a manicure, a pedicure and my eyebrows done, while the two young ladies that delivered my services were very nice and do a good job, the manager was very rude. I had death in my family and was preparing to fly over seas for the funeral, so I was already low on cash. my bill came to $116 and when I try to give a tip of $3 each per service she told me "oh we normally charged 15-20% tip, and they do a lot for you" so I said to her what have they done for me that they have not done to every other customer, and she said "you are satisfied right? And she insisted I gave a better tip, like maybe give one $8and one $7, I was feeling hurt, as well as harassed, so I gave $10 for the two workers. seem to me like the manager harassed new customer for tip as per review, if they keep her as a manager that salon won't be in business for long. My best friend and I were going to get out nails done and prior to it I had on acrylics. I was getting a removal and then sns dip powder. She was very rough with the removal at first but I let it slide, then she continued to remove my nails and kept hurting me and it was getting difficult to take off. Instead of stopping because she saw I was in pain she continued until the last nail. The last nail was the most painful one and the outcome was disgusting. My nail had split in half and started bleeding. She wanted to keep going but I said to forget it. Then we moved on to doing the dip powder. So, as anyone else would decide, I didn't put the powder or touch my thumb therefore it would heal and not get infected. As I'm leaving to pay they told me $50. $50?!! for splitting my nail and for not doing all 10 nails. As i'm leaving the man asks me "you're not going to leave a tip?" and I looked at him. Came here last Saturday with my sister and daughter to celebrate my little one's birthday and we were immediately serviced. They are very attentive and very polite and not judgmental Very clean and they were so kind to my daughter. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Went for an acrylic fill in after work I was left to wait when there was a technician available with no customer. The guy Jason waited until more customers came in before he even acknowledged I was there for a fill in. He decided to take the people that came in after me for a full set I'm sure because it's more money for him. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! The technician that did assist her name was Lisa and proceeded to slide my chair across to her station rather than asking me to move to her station. It was truly a circus act! Then, after she is done with the $20 fill in she advises me it's $25!! I paid and left gave her tip on top of that to say you overcharging a measly $5 you took for tip is not hurting my pockets sweetie!
