I've been going to Esther Ahn Optometry for many years now, and as always they have great and friendly service! They are always accommodating, whether it be scheduling an appointment or making sure your optical needs are satisfied. I go to her mainly for my ortho-k lenses but would recommend to go here for any optometric need! read more

I have been going to Dr. Ahn for about 15 years. She and her team are so personable and friendly, I just cannot imagine a better optomotrist. Everytime we walk in they greet us by our first names. My wife and I started going to her office when we moved to Cerritos. Even though we moved 15 miles away a few years later, we still drive out of my way to go to her. Last year, she recommended a lasix surgeon. Both my wife and I got lasix surgery and we now see 20/20 and no longer need to wear glasses or contact lenses. Still, we see see Dr. Ahn very frequently. Now, our 3 children are her patients! read more

I've been coming to Dr. Ahn since I was a kid and loved her so much that I continued to see her even after moving away. My husband began seeing her after we married and was immediately impressed by Dr. Ahn's care. Now my 2-year-old enjoys her eye visits. Dr. Ahn is very caring and makes you feel so comfortable - just like an old friend! Not only does she care about your eyes' health but also your entire well-being. My family and I are very happy to have her for our eye care needs! read more

I went for my new prescription for my contacts today and remembered why I came back here. I came here 2years ago for the first time and I really like this office. Dr Ahn is very nice and professional. Her support staff are awesome. I wish I was better with names but there were 2girls and 1 guy working and they were great. Speak to you by name, apologized for the small wait and act like they generally care. I will keep coming back thank you!!! read more

I have been going to Dr. Ahn's office for years. Everyone there is super kind and they always take enough time to explain/listen to me making sure my needs are well taken care of. I love this place so much that even after I moved up north 50 miles away, I still take the trouble to drive to there every year. Their prices are reasonable and they never try to sell you expensive or stuff that you don't need. Very ethical people unlike some optometrists who are as bad as used car sales men. read more

She is equally as kind and informative as Dr Ahn. The staff here is equally amazing. She is receiving contact lense training as I do this review. There is a reason we have been coming here for many years. Kudos! read more

I've been seeing Dr. Esther Ahn for many years and her and her staff have always been awesome. So even when I moved kind of far away I made the trip to go see her. BUT This time was different. I was down to my last box of contacts and needed new glasses so I called to make an appt. Dr. Ahn was booked so they booked me with Dr. Patel. No problem since they have always been great. When I went there were whole new staff but still were nice. When Dr. Patel called me in, I didn't get that same comfortable feeling I had with Dr. Ahn. But thought maybe its just me. After the exam she had me try new contacts. But they didn't have the correct prescription sample for my right eye so she gave me a lower dose one and told me to try it and if I like it they will order with the correct prescription. Then looked for new frames for glasses but the girl wasn't very helpful or informative. Actually she was a bit irritated that I was taking long. Anyways tried the contact samples and liked them so ordered them. Made the trip to go pick them up. When I got home the right eye was the same as the samples. Called the office and told the girl and she wanted me to come back and pick up samples with correct prescription and try them again and waste my time and gas. Told her to just order the correct prescription but kept asking me if I wanted to try them and kept getting the prescription mixed up. Got very irritated and asked her why correct lenses weren't ordered in the first place. She put me on hold and got the office manager to talk to me. She said the same thing 'we will order you the prescription that you want. It'll be here in couple of days'. Wow! no apologies or anything! At this point I got really irritated and hung up. I am so disappointed! Needless to say I won't be going back. It's not worth the trip anymore. I will be picking up the correct lenses and my records and will be going somewhere closer to where I live. If anybody goes there, be sure to see Dr. Ahn! read more

Professional and friendly. Dr. Ahn and her techs made me feel comfortable the whole time there.

I visited Esther Ahn Optometry for the very first time last week, and had a very positive experience. At first, I was afraid I had made a mistake when I first arrived. There was only one person in the main reception area when I arrived, a gentleman who was clearly a staff member. I walked in expecting a greeting, but he didn't speak. I waited at the reception desk for about a minute. Just as I was about to say, "Well, this is awkward...", he told me that the office doesn't open until 10am. (It was 9:54). Moments later, someone came out to assist me. The first part of my exam was done by Rachel, who was very helpful and professional, which put me at ease. Then Dr. Patel took over. She was very thorough and extremely personable, making my experience quite pleasant. She even helped me to select new frames, as the optician was busy. Altogether, my visit went quite well. It won't be my last visit. read more

I've been going to Dr. Ahn consistently for over 10 years and I've never had a bad experience. The staff there are always so professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I never have to wait too long and I always get thorough explanations so I am kept up with the health of my eyes. Dr. Ahn is one of the best health professionals I've met and I never dread going to the optometrist. Throughout the years I've gotten glasses and contacts and I've never had issues with either of those. The staff here definitely want what's best for the patient. Dr. Ahn is amazing! I had eye irritation that 2 ophthalmologist could not help solve. I went to see Dr. Ahn and right away she made a game plan to figure out what was causing my eye irritation. She solved the problem and I'm super thankful I found her. I will definitely keep coming to her. Also her office staff are all super friendly, helpful, and patient. This is the best optometry I've been to, and I recommend this to all my friends. We moved to this area, 11 yrs ago, and ever since, loved this place. Two days, I decided to get an extra pair, and Dr. Ahn was so nice to make sure, my prescription did not change, before I made the new pair. With my years of experience, I've had nothing but satisfaction at this place. read more

I had the privilege of meeting and experiencing top class service from the eye professionals at Esther Ahn's Optometry. Dr. Patel gave me and my 2 boys the best care. All of the support staff was amazing and very attentative. Sam was able to quickly take care of my appointment over the phone and then took care of all of my insurance paperwork. I normally don't write reviews; however, I wanted to make sure others that are in the market for new glasses know about an outstanding optometry in Cerritos. read more

Words can't describe how awesome Dr. Esther Ahn is!! Let me try.. she is very informative, HONEST, and downright friendly! She remembers me even when I don't come in for years! She remembers details nontheless! My Pops goes there now, and he is a stubborn old man, but he loves her too, and now my daughter (age 3) will be seeing her for her very first toddler appointment! :) I only wish there were more doctors like her out there so I can find a nice pediatrician for my daughter :( In conclusion, she is the best... I guarantee once you see her for an appointment, you'll never want another optometrist again. Tell her Briana Joseph referred you! read more
