This is an excellent team who all work well together. The process was easy, comfortable and very efficient. Everyone on the team was super hospitable, kind and very informative. All staff in this faculty practiced safe and thorough safety and cleanliness standards. The customer service here is impeccable. Their level of care and respect is unmatchable. The faculty is clean and modern. The layout is not cluttered and very organized. They offer the latest styles and have a wide selection of brands and options. The doctors showed tremendous amount of care and concern for each patient and consistently showed respect by addressing all questions, explaining all procedures and not rushing patients through a conveyer-belt type process. This is an excellent team and facility; I highly recommend. I worked with Dr. Patel and Mr. Sam, they were kind, gentle souls who went out of their way to make me and my husband feel welcomed and cared for. They both took tremendous amount of time to answer all our questions and make sure we were comfortable and informed. Excellent service! read more

I've come to Dr. Esther Ahn for a long time. She has partners now but is still just as attentive as she was when she was alone. They have lots of cute glasses, are very helpful, and they don't screw me with my health insurance. It's important to go to a doctor that is great but also knows how to properly file paperwork so that you don't pay a fortune out of pocket. Well she's great. Dr. Ahn is very friendly, remembers you, very personable, and she works with whatever you need. I am a different customer since I want everything and want to know everything, and she's always great with me. I got my first pair of contacts from her last week to try and she was great. I did not get my glasses here since she didn't have many in stock for people with big craniums, but if you don't have a big head like me you'll be fine. Designer, non designer, or whatever glasses in whichever price range; she can get them for you. O! Also you can be upfront about your budget. Don't be shy. Tell her Crystin Jean referred you! :) read more

I called around 12:30PM after watching Pretty Little Liars and was not disappointed with the customer service and professionalism from one of the reps who picked up my phone call =D I don't have insurance for my eyes anymore and I remember that I would always come here with my parents ever since I was young! From what I remember, this place always had excellent service, and they really hook you up with a wide variety of lenses. I always got my glasses here but I wanted to try contact lenses. So I called this place to get a quote, and a representative named Sam picked up the phone and was very patient and knowledgeable with the pricing of eye exams and he knew what brands of contact lenses were popular. He answered all of my questions with honesty and told me of the different contact lenses that are out there. Without insurance, an eye exam for contact lenses would be $125. Although he couldn't give me a price range for the types of contact lenses I want, he explained that because there are so many brands out there, it's hard to give a price estimate unless you know what brand you want. Anyway, I'm gonna do some research about this, and hopefully I'll be able to wear contact lenses in the future =D read more

I have been coming to Dr. Ahn for many years and she and her staff have always been great. They are friendly, helpful, and know what they are doing. I highly recommend this optometry office. read more

I came here this week after doing some research for a good optometrist. I didn't look up the reviews for this place on yelp beforehand. I had looked at a list of optometry places in the area, and this one was close to my house. I went in, and the receptionist was really nice. I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time here, and I didn't check this place out beforehand. First off, when I called the place to make an appointment the person I talked to was really friendly, and was very understanding, and answered all of my questions. Same thing happened when I walked in, every question I had was answered, and Dr. Ahn was very good at helping me out. I needed to get a new prescription for my contact lenses, and she suggested that I try a different type of contact lenses, that would help my eyes not feel so dry. I had to wait a week and a half then I went back to do a follow up, but this time I talked to Dr. Patel, and she was very good at helping me out, and she didn't pressure me to purchase the contact lenses from their shop. I loved the service here, and I love that there is absolutely no pressure to purchase anything from here, especially since nowadays a lot of shops are often times, pressuring you into buying from their stores. The contact lense fitting and examination here is cheaper than it is at Costco, so if you are in the area, I would suggest you check out this place. I have insurance, but my insurance only covers the glasses examination, so I ended up paying $50 for the contact lense exam. I did end up ordering my contact lenses from here because I looked up the prices online and it all looked around the same. So I decided to just go local and pick up contact lenses from here instead of buying them online. I would definitely come back here for another examination! read more

So, here I am back again in 2015 for my yearly eye exam and Dr. Ahn and her staff is still AMAZING as ever! Dr. Ahn genuinely cares for all her patients and thoroughly takes the time during your examination to address your concerns. She never rushes or makes you feel like "another patient". Rather, when you are her patient, she focuses on your eye needs in the max. She is also so patient, friendly, kind, and caring. Seriously, best eye doctor ever. Also, her staff is amazing when helping you choose glasses. They has an amazing array of glasses to choose from of all sorts - hip, trendy, casual, normal, old school, regular, sassy...you want it, they'll have it. Like Dr. Ahn, her staff is patient and kind as well. I don't say this often, but you won't regret coming here. I promise. read more

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Ahn for over 10 years. We love the staff and Dr Ahn. Very professional, nice and friendly. Even if I miss a year of exam, we make sure they are given a Christmas gift. We hold them close to our hearts. They are never forgotten. I would definitely recommend them. I've been seeing Dr. Ahn for a few years now. She's always very friendly, thoughtful, and thorough, and all of the staff in the office are pleasant. I'm very satisfied with the glasses and contacts I've received from them. The previous time I was trying to decide between 2 frames, there were at least 5 people in the office willing to play along to let me know their favorite in an A/B test, which was nice. I love their vast selection of eyeglass frames, and Esther Ahn provides great suggestions for different types of disposable contacts to try out (for extended wear and astigmatism, in my case). They've always gotten my prescription right on (which is VERY high: -6.5 in 1 eye, -7.0 in the other for contacts, plus astigmatism, so you can imagine my glasses lenses can be complicated). Over the years, I've ordered at least 4 different pairs of glasses with them, and a few different 6 month+ contact prescriptions. No complaints, highly recommended. read more

Dr. Kim is a graduate of Gahr High School and Southern California College of Optometry. I've ordered lenses here that were scratched but the receptionists refused to admit that there was anything wrong but agreed to send them back. I didn't know that my retina detached so after dilating my eyes she said I had the eyes of an old man. She had to refer me to an ophthalmologist. Recently, Dr. Ahn's team members, Kevin and Sue have been incredibly kind, answered all my questions, and did the research with my insurance coverage so I was able to know what all my options were in making an informed decision with each of my family members. I've been coming here for 7+ years now. I LOVE Dr. Esther Ahn. You will never meet a more caring professional. I've been wearing glasses and contacts over 30 years and been through many eye doctors. Dr. Esther Ahn is, without a doubt, the best eye doctor I've have ever meet as a patient. And as a nurse of 20+years she has one of most calm and caring approach with patients. I have complicated prescription and eye condition. She explains both patiently in terms I can understand. 20+ years of critical care nursing does not make me any better patient in understanding eye condition and terminology so this is a big deal for me. Make an appt with Dr. Esther Ahn yourself and experience it yourself. Both of my kids go here. One of the young lady staff showed amazing patience in teaching my 14 y o on how to put contact on and off when my son and I had both given up. Kids friendly. Friendly staff. One down side is I don't buy the frame or the glasses lens here. I have another place for less. read more

A couple of days ago I had an appt with Dr. Esther Ahn for a contact and eyeglass prescription update. I found Esther Ahn's practice VIA YELP. The prior reviews don't lie, it was a very good experience. I am rather picky when it comes to my ocular health, since I have pretty horrid vision, and I left completely satisfied. I will recommend my parents to come here as well. From what I understand Dr. Esther Ahn took over the practice and has been in business here for the last 11 years. I say that's due to many satisfied and returning clients, once you check it out you will see. read more

First time coming here with my son for his eye exam and it was a good experience. The doctor was very pleasant and her staff was very helpful and kind. He was good with my son and he was very knowledgeable. I'm Not to sure if it's the glasses and lens are pricey there but hopefully it won't be. I have been a long time customer. Our whole family uses this office. From the staff to Dr Ahn, customer service is key. Rarely have I experienced a slight hiccup with their service. If I leave a msg I am called back quickly. They have NEVER made a mistake with me or my family. Dr Ahn is courteous, gracious, genteel, mannerly and professional and cares deeply about giving you the finest quality of care. She explains everything in layman's terms. Her staff is equally amazing. The office can get busy at times but please be patient if and when that happens, her services are worth the wait if there is any. I've needed optometric care since I was a young girl and of all the professionals I've encountered, Dr Ahn & her staff still reign #1. I've also seen her with elderly & young patients and She & her staff take the necessary steps to ensure their comfort and that they are helped expeditiously. She also has a huge selection to choose from (designer labels to generic), Me, my Husband and my Adult children are always very pleased with their glasses (& contacts). Even my very picky Adult Fashionista Daughter is. We never leave unhappy. Ever. & that's saying something very special about this Optometric office. read more

I LOVE Dr. Anh! I've only seen her once but that was enough to convince me she was an awesome doctor. Found her on yelp and the reviews are true! She is so personable, friendly, and offers great care. Will definitely be seeing her as my new eye doctor. read more

I've been a patient here for a very long time, even before Dr. Ahn bought the place. When I got married and had kids, we still came here. Great doctors. But recently, with new office staff, my experience has become one filled with disappointments. As you read many reviews of eye doctors, one would notice that they all have great doctors but pretty crummy office staff and that makes the whole experience bad. My experience was same here. Loved the doctors but the office staff service was inconsistent. Missed delivery dates, Mis-communications. Unneeded office visits. These were not just one time thing but kept happening year after year. All these thing leave bad taste in your mouth and things started to pile up. So, I decided to look for another optometrist office. Hopefully, you will have better service. read more

I needed to find someone who was honest and can suggest what I needed for my eyes. So I went on YELP and read Dr. Ahn's many positive reviews and took a gamble and made an appointment. Well I'm so glad I did! Dr. Ahn's staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all my many questions very politely and have the utmost patience. Dr. Ahn was on vacation, but ANN and the other staff walked me through each step and I didn't feel rushed at all. I needed new glasses and ANN helped me pick the one that actually matches my face! I was soo pleased I brought my boys there and they were able to match my oldest son with glasses that were perfect for his active schedule. I definitely recommend this office to anyone! read more

Dr Esther Ahn is the best eye doctor I have ever been to. I have pretty bad eyesight, and I have been to several optometrists and ophthalmologists all my life, especially since I also have diabetes. Dr Ahn is one of a kind, and there's no one like her! She is not only very knowledgeable and spot on when it comes to my eyesight, she also cares about my health. She takes the time to explain everything to me and advises on how to take care of my overall well being. To top it off, she is also super sweet by personality! We once saw her at a local restaurant, and she did not hesitate to approach us and hug us all! She is so down to earth and very kind to her patients. Dr Ahn's office is super friendly to me and my entire family. We enjoy going there because the staff is beyond awesome. They know everyone by name. Favi takes care of all our needs when it comes to billing and insurance. She helps us choose frames and lets us try them all on, if we want. Anne is also very caring and friendly, and she constantly makes us laugh and smile with her cheerful personality. Even the technician who fixes my glasses is always smiling and waving at me. The best thing about this place is really their dedicated customer service. I never feel pressured with their billing methods. They allow me to leave a deposit and make installments when I need to. They trust me enough to let me pay at my convenience. I'm not sure if they do that to everyone or if it's because our family has been going there for a few years now. Whatever it is, I am so so thankful for their trust. With all 4 of us in the family needing glasses or contacts, the bill adds up. I'm so grateful that Dr. Ahn's office is so supportive of the family. I can't say enough about this office! THANK YOU, DR AHN AND EVERYONE AT THE OFFICE!!!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!! read more

Dr. Esther is friendly, warm, and makes you feel so comfortable. I also love that when you set an appointment time, they try their best to see you at your appointment time. This office is simply amazing! Over the years 've been seen by all of the doctors and each of them are so thorough, professional, and caring. Everyone in the office provides great customer service and they're thoughtful about making sure that I feel at ease (whether it be new frames, new contact brands, new prescriptions). My last visit should have been a short check-up but I wanted to discuss Lasik and Dr. Patel went above and beyond to patiently explain not only the procedure, but answerd all of my questions and provided a detailed explanation about eye health and what to watch out for. I never feel rushed here and never have to wait long for the doctors. I moved to West LA a few years ago but still make the trek back to Cerritos because I can't imagine going anywhere else. read more

There are three (I believe) doctors working at this optometry center. I've had Dr. Ahn as well as the younger, newer doctor, but I forgot her name. :T Either way, this is a great optometry center. It may not look as spiffy as some of the other optometry offices in Cerritos, but they're probably less expensive without sacrificing quality. For guys it may seem like there's a whole lot of and a little too much estrogen because every where you look there mostly females or females with their kids. Nonetheless the environment is really chill and the staff is really friendly. You get none of that "Yea whatevs~" attitude from the front desk unlike a lot of other businesses. What really stuck out to me about Dr. Ahn's practice was that I had always felt my left eye would be a little off, slightly blurry when I wore contacts. I used to think it was because my eyes were just extra dry, because that was what I had been told by my former optometrist leading me to switch from regular Acuvue to Acuvue Oasys which is a little more pricier. Yet... that blurriness continued to follow me even while wearing Oasys and dropping hundreds of re-wetting drops a day into my eye. Finally one day out of contacts for my left eye which are weaker in strength, I just decided to put a contact for my right eye into my left with the difference only being -.50. Right away I noticed a difference and the view from my left eye was sharper...eventually though, the blurriness came back, not as intense, but still there. On my first visit to Dr. Ahn's I told her the issue I had with my left eye and self-diagnosing myself, I suggested that maybe I just needed prescription eye drops for dry eyes or increasing the strength for my left eye. After doing the usual routine tests Dr. Ahn concluded that nothing was wrong with the moisture level or strength in prescription for the left eye. What the cause of all my headaches was the new revelation that my left eye has a slight astigmatism. She did a few more tests to tweak the strength in prescription and sent me home to wait for my glasses to be ordered. Never really noticing too much of a problem with glasses in general as far as my left eye was concerned, I didn't notice too big of a change other than extra clarity from my upgraded prescription. On my second visit, the younger doctor (whom I have forgotten the name and therefore will refer to as Dr. "Young"). Dr. "Young" was really friendly without any language barriers as I felt a tiny bit with Dr. Ahn. This time around I decided to be fitted for new contacts as wearing glasses for 365 days of the year just wasn't going to happen. Nuh uh~ Dr. "Young" was very thorough (just as Dr. Ahn was) in the routine tests, especially when testing out the different strengths. She confirmed I have astigmatism in my left eye as well as alerting me that I had a freckle inside my eye (invisible to the naked eye) that wasn't anything to be too concerned over, but aware of. Contacts for astigmatism being more costly than my Oasys, instead of having me decide right then and there what I wanted to do, she sent me home with two different pairs of contacts (one regular, one for astigmatism) for my left eye to try out for the week and see which one I preferred or if the difference in clarity wasn't a big enough deal to not shell out the extra cash. Well....instead of coming back the very next week after that appointment, I lagged and came back a month later. :P Dr. Young didn't make me feel guilty about my tardiness, but just laughed it off. Since quite some time had passed since my initial visit she rechecked my eyes to make sure I was given the right prescriptions. Being that I wore my free sample contacts every day for that month, she noted the debris on them and informed me that I should be switching out my contacts at least every 3 weeks and changing the case regularly, which was news to me! (Yes, I've worn contacts for over 3 months at a time till they were just foggy disks impairing my vision even more. I guess i'm a dirty girl. ^^ ) Dr. Young was cool about it and gave me a fresh new pair to wear until my actual order came in. In conclusion.... finally, Dr. Ahn's practice is really great. Even though I migrated from Cerritos to the La Habra/Fullerton/Brea area I still plan on returning here despite there are optometry offices closer to my new home. Being as welcoming and thorough as the whole staff there is no reason to leave. Especially being able to diagnose me correctly and catch a freckle that my other optometrists were not able to do after all the years that I've dealt with that irritating issue....really shows how skilled the people who work here are. read more
