I got a prompt reply from someone named Chad, which was promising since he was so quick to respond and let me know that he could call me on Monday to discuss (this was a Friday) or I could call their office. I thanked him for his quick response, gave him my contact information, and told him I looked forward to hearing from him on Monday. Well, Monday came and went and I heard nothing from anyone, so I called the number that was listed in his reply and left a voicemail asking for a call back to schedule an estimate or discuss further. It has now been more than a month and I still haven't heard from this company. If they are this bad at communicating from the start, I would not have high hopes for actually working with them. I was disappointed since the Yelp reviews were promising. I'm glad that others have had better experiences with Knoble Engineering and was hoping I would be able to add to their positive reviews, but unfortunately that was not the case. I don't feel it makes sense for me to chase someone that I am trying to give my business to. Luckily, I found another engineer for my project that has been far more responsive.

On…read moremore than one occasion, I reached out to him for updates/developments and if I got a response, he would provide an excuse like a meeting taking longer than expected, having "projects to get out in the next hour" or the default, "I'll get back to you first thing in the morning" and then I never hear from him the whole next day or until I reach out again. People need to stop taking on more work than they can handle. There's no excuse to keep making commitments with customers, breaking them, and continuing on in silence after you fail to keep your word. Companies like this will slow your project down, but always send your invoice right on time and have the nerve to threaten you with a late fee as well as interest and legal fees if you don't pay them when they want to be paid. Time is money for the customers too, but they have no concession for you when they drop the ball and that's a shame.
