I had a pre-listing inspection done a couple of weeks ago to let me know what I need to take care of before selling. The inspection seemed extremely thorough, then they went over the major issues with me in person upon finish. I then got the detailed inspection report with many issues found, pictures of all, severity levels, in a very strucuted/readable format. I'm very happy with the result and the price was extremely fair also. I would definitely recommend them. read more

My wife and I purchased a home in July and had Dana inspect it for issues. The home has a flat roof so we were nervous that it would have water intrusion problems. Dana's report indicated that while there was a single area of the roof that was holding water, the roof was otherwise fine. Well, within a month of moving in we had massive water intrusion problems in multiple areas. Of the four areas we had water intrusion in, only one was identified by Dana, and they failed to note that entire sections of the roof tiles were rotten and needed replacing. Somehow they also failed to notice any signs of water damage within the home itself. I cannot in good faith recommend Dana and I feel like they let us down pretty badly with their inspection. read more

Don O'Shields was AMAZING!!! Not only was he thorough and professional but he was also very enjoyable! Don educated and walked me through his inspection while also discussing solutions for anything he found. Nicole was also very helpful during the booking and payment process. I would absolutely recommend Dana Inspection Services to anyone! Thank you so much for your care of my future purchase! read more

They did a pretty good inspection of our house, only missed a few things which we noticed after moving in, nothing too major. There was a slight issue where I didn't receive the inspection report by the expected time, but they responded to my email late at night and made sure I got it same day! read more

Tom inspected our new build home. The report was thorough and was returned to me quickly (same day) ahead of my initial walk-through. Our agent met Tom at the property but I was unable to. I appreciated being able to review sample reports so I would have an idea of what to expect on my own inspection report. The team was flexible, professional, and communicative with us and the builder. I recommend. read more

Home buying is hard enough, but these are great to help with the inspection. They make it easy. They schedule an inspections in no time. They saved us from buying a house that the investment owner tried to cover up ALOT of things wrong, including a huge potential fire starter and structural issues. I am glad we hired these guys and got out of making a BIG mistake!!! read more

Tom from Dana did the inspection for a new construction house for me. He did a very detailed job and found items which were skipped in previous walk throughs. Ordered additionally a Radon test which was very accurate. Reports were provided very fast after the inspection within 24hours. Customer service with Chris was also good despite some back and forward on my end. Good company. read more

Professional, thorough, honest and all around great company! Took the time to review the report and explain items.

Very good, reliable service. The inspector was very thorough, punctual, polite, and did not mind questions and comments during the inspection. He debriefed us on his preliminary observations at the house and sent us a very detailed report outlining all of his findings in a timely manner. I highly recommend Dana Inspection Services I'd you need a home inspection. read more

We got lucky and managed to schedule an inspection with Dana Inspection during a very short due diligence period (fortunately for us, they had a cancellation). We called them within 24 hours of going under contract. We spoke with Chris (who was prompt and attentive) on a Sunday afternoon and he got us scheduled immediately! Matt with Dana Inspection was our inspector and he was INCREDIBLE. He was friendly, responsive, on time, and so very thorough. He took time to walk me around the home pointing things out and his inspection report was incredibly detailed. (This guy found a missing door stopper behind a bathroom door in a 4800 sq. foot house.) Would absolutely recommend to anyone and will use them in the future! read more

We went with Dana Inspection services for a used house we just bought. It was a cold day on the day we moved in, and we discovered that the basement heating doesn't work - turns out... neither does the AC. We called a technician and find out the zone board that controls temperature on two levels is broken. So, no heat/air downstairs. I think this was categorically the exact type of thing we were supposed to know during a home inspection. Disappointed in the inspection company for not discovering literally what seems to be his ENTIRE JOB to discover. Update: In response to the business' response below: 1) A zoning board issue has nothing to do with the 20 year old furnace. I initially gave the inspector the benefit of the doubt before the contractor came out, and come to find out it has neither to do with the AC nor the furnace but that the thermostat literally can't control either of them. Did he even TRY to test it? 2) I didn't reply to your "offer for warranty" because number one: the seller buys a year of home warranty as part of closing, and more importantly, It's unethical for my phone number being immediately shared ("referred") to other companies that provide warranty shortly after I used your service. I'm pretty certain I didn't agree knowingly agree to get solicited to. Sorry for being harsh on a Yelp review, but since the issue with the heat/air above I've also just found out the sink disposal is also broken, as well as an upstairs toilet flush, and I feel an apology is in order here and not an attempt to make it sound like you were in the right here. I chose your company out of trust that you'd be thorough, and I feel that trust was violated. read more

I recently used Dana to inspect two different houses. The first was requested late Monday night with the inspector showing up at 9am Tuesday. In both cases inspection reports were provided same day. The company was extremely responsive and accommodating. The inspectors were both thorough. Best inspectors I've worked with and I would recommend to anyone read more

Scott and the team are incredible on all fronts from customer service to technical abilities. The inspection they did saved me $100k worth of surprises down the road and for that my family is grateful. read more

I used Dana to inspect a used property. They performed the initial inspection, setup radon testing (additional request), and performed a post inspection prior to moving in (additional request to verify seller had addresses concerns). Matt was very professional throughout the entire process. He maintained clear communication, quickly delivered highly detailed reports, and took the time to walk me through the home. This home walk-down was extremely valuable as it showed me items in the report and also where the main utility connections were located in the house. I say their service is worth every penny and I would, without a doubt, hire them again in the future. Excellent! read more

Dana Inspections was truly amazing to work with for the inspection on our new home. Our house is new construction and the date that we needed the inspection by kept on changing due to delays in construction. The Operations Manager Chris was super accomodating in helping get me on the schedule (even texting me back on a Saturday) and was understanding when we had to make last minute changes and when I had last minute questions. Tom Crawford was our inspector and was super thorough and caught issues that the builder was not aware of. We were not the easiest clients to deal with, but you wouldn't have known that we were annoying based on the service we received! I'd definitely recommend Dana to others. read more

I would definitely use them in the future as I have recently use them to inspect the house I was looking to purchase. They were very detailed they paid attention to the things that were my major concerns. They respond in a timely manner due to last minute questions before I had to give a response to the seller. Very helpful considering this was my first time looking to purchase a home they gave me all the answers I needed to help me understand every detail even though I was not able to attend inspection due to my work schedule. read more

Unprofessional company. Upon completing their inspection and leaving my home(after no one was there) they left all of my exterior doors unlocked and all of my thermostats turned down 4 degrees below where I left them. I had to "inspect" my home to make sure there wasn't anything else out of order. If you're going to conduct a service in someone's home it should be treated with the utmost respect. I would not recommend doing business with this company. read more

Dana Inspection was able to schedule us right away, and Matt was on-time. Our seller hadn't unlocked the home, and instead of leaving Matt gave me a call and got started in the outside u til the issue was resolved. When I met him towards the end of the inspection he thoroughly walked me through all of his findings and patiently answered all my questions. I received the report the same day and overall was an outstanding experience. Scott is the real deal if you're looking for a good thorough inspector. He took his time and did not rush at all. Very knowledgeable and he explained the problems after the inspection. Found things that I didn't imagine. The report itself was very thorough. I also paid extra for the radon test and it came out higher than what's recommended by health experts. This was in Cobb county so don't think it's not around you. Highly recommend and look no further if you want a good thorough inspector. read more

My GA realtor recommended them and I must say they are worth every time. Friendly and thorough for sure. Reports detailed. I recommend them.

All I can say is, Scott is THE BEST. I had the best experience working with him that I ever have with ANY inspector. He walked me through everything for our new home, helped tremendously, and went above and beyond. These days, people underestimate the power of just doing what you say you will do - and it is clear that doing the right thing, the way you say you will do it, is high among Dana Inspection's values. I would recommend Scott to anyone looking to learn everything they can about their home! read more
