Ordered a very expensive RV refrigerator from etrailer.com and they decided to use ESTES to ship it. Email from e-tailer stated ESTES should contact me once the item arrives to arrange curbside delivery. Well, ESTES in Fort Worth did not call at all and showed up unannounced on a rainy morning and left the expensive fridge in front of our house (in the elements) without even attempting to call MY NUMBER which was listed on the paperwork. Lazy company, lazy driver, PERIOD. Hopefully the fridge works. The worst thing is that ESTES does not care about feedback, or care to do anything to correct their mistakes, or even improve from them. Last time I use them for anything; even if it cost me more to ship. I would not trust any of my property with ESTES. read more

What a horrible company. The drive was nice and friendly, but his boss Michelle is a total wench! I ordered a 4 post car lift at Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale AZ at the show. The lift arrived in 8 days, actually faster than expected. 1500lb lift with no game plan for how to unload it from the truck they brought it in. "It's too big for the liftgate" and they expect the customer to "figure out" hot to get it off of their truck. Oh and at a $75 per hour cost. You would think if a "trucking company" is hired to deliver something they would have a game plan on how to get it off of the truck they used to bring it in... unbelievable! Zero 0 stars! I feel bad for the driver having to answer to that woman! Find a new job bro, life is too short! read more

3 for 3 in not getting my shipment to me in the scheduled window, except this time, instead of being a week late, I didn't get the item at all! 100 inch tv delivered to the wrong address! Oh well, they don't do anything to fix it, I just have to get my refund from Walmart after taking a day off work to be home during the commitment time! By far the worst shipping/logistics/freight company on the planet! They are guaranteed to be late on your order, if you get it at all. Their tracking is worthless too, as they rarely update it. I will cancel any order from any company from here on out if they end up using Estes. Truly a worthless company. read more

Bait and switch. Gave quote and changed over 300% within 2 hours after accepting it. Do not trust.

So disappointed in this company. I have been told multiple times now my order would be delivered on different dates. I have taken off of work to wait for said delivery and nothing! I called yesterday to locate the delivery and the employee who I spoke to was so rude, stating the system is down and she can't track the delivery but I was to be delivered. Well, I still have not received this delivery which I paid a lot of money for and am waiting on to finish a home project. TERRIBLE read more

Zero stars. I booked Estes Express to ship two new pieces of well- packed new furniture from my parents' house in Georgia to my house in Virginia. Worst mistake I ever made. Pickup was delayed because the driver arrived in an 18 wheeler and no handcart and couldn't get in the driveway. The first item arrived with the box ripped open and many dings and dents - and without the second item. Second item arrived 6 days later completely destroyed. i bought insurance but the deductible is $500 and the claims process is onerous. Never never never use this company. read more

Large item on a pallet delivered by one person. We have a process gravel driveway and he got stuck. My wife happened to be home, and the guy said she had to get behind and push! Of note: no one was required to be home to receive the delivery. If she was not there, i shudder to think of the outcome. When I called to voice my frustration, the "customer service" representative listened to my grievance but honestly she sounded pretty apathetic about the whole thing. And it doesn't matter because I didn't choose this company; they were contracted by Home Depot. I'm not a satisfied customer at all. One star is generous. read more

TERRIBLE delivery employees!! They drove my $5,000 riding mower to me, once it was taken off the truck by them, my mower appeared as if it was in a damn car accident!!! the keys were missing and the damage was so severe and I'm sure most of it was done from the way they took it from the back of there truck. So despicable. read more

My shipment was supposed to be here 2 days ago so I checked my order online at Home Depot. It shows that my delivery had been waiting at Grand Prairie, TX since June 10. I called Home Depot which referred me back to this company which then had to transfer me to another terminal. This whole process took about an hour. I found out they had the wrong phone number on file for me (Home Depot's fault obviously) and they had tried to contact me once on Monday, June 16th to try and schedule an appointment. This is an extremely disorganized company and I will be contacting Home Depot letting them know that I will be taking my business elsewhere if they continue using this shipping service. read more

Estes is absolutely worthless, eta was 2:37 so I was driving through town and see the estes truck, so we hurry back to meet him and he's nowhere to be found, so I call the terminal in Louisville and they say, oh he's broke down, it'll be another hour, how can a truck break down just minutes after he bypassed me? Obviously they are lying again because I was driving the same direction he was and I didn't see him broke down, I never saw him, so obviously he turned off somewhere and is jacking off instead of making the delivery. Screw Estes. minus 10 rating from me. read more

Estes has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. They will find every excuse possible to deny claims when cargo has clearly been mishandled. I had previously left a 1 star review after talking to a dispatcher and a customer service rep, they were terrible. However....the delivery guy was great and my $4000 speakers arrived damage free with the boxes in good shape. So a change in my review was needed. Thanks Estes, good job! read more

Driver's are friendly and helpful. Appointment clerks are not. They regularly schedule appointments before the drivers are even clocked in. They've made it known its the receivers responsibility to schedule but there's no way to tell if it's reached the final terminal which means I'm calling to randomly check in. Last time it took me 4 back and forth calls to get one set. This won't be an issue if you don't need an appointment but for those who do go with Old Dominion freight. read more

Delivery for a chipper from Home Depot. The company refused to give me a time frame and insisted I stay at home the entire day to be available to sign for delivery. Inconvenient and angering. They offered a phone call 20 minutes before arriving. They called and still haven't arrived over an hour later. Horrible customer service, horrible logistics. I will not use Home Depot again for my purchases if they are contracting delivery with Estes. read more

Worst experience ever trying to receive a delivery! Absolutely do not recommend. I ordered a chest freezer from Home Depot with white glove delivery. They did not contact me to schedule delivery. They just randomly picked their own date and timeframe. Then they said they couldn't deliver to a gravel driveway or put in my garage as per the threshold delivery I paid for when I ordered the freezer. Then they lost the freezer. Finally, weeks later it was delivered a 25 cu. ft freezer by one guy who couldn't get it up the driveway on a pallet jack so he used my dolly then left it outside my garage instead of inside despite the rollup door being wide open. Horrible service!!!! read more

They were delivering from Home Depot, and their form was sent out saying they would schedule an arrival time WITH ME, because it needed someone to sign for it. Then I was told at 8:38 am via text that they had set the delivery for the same day, from 9 to 1. Zero attempt to contact me. The previous estimated delivery was for a week later. They called and at LEAST they worked with me to drop it off, instead of having me sign for it, but then I had to be paranoid it would be stolen (though it was big enough that I didn't think it would). So 1 extra star for the delivery person being flexible and understanding that his company messed up. If I had to choose and pay for it myself, I would not choose this company to deliver. They have a lack of communication that is upsetting. read more

We recently had a very disappointing experience with Estes Express Lines. We purchased new wheels that were shipped on two pallets to my business. On 06/04/2024, the driver arrived before business hours to deliver the pallets. When we unloaded the pallets, we noticed there were only 26 boxes instead of the expected 30. The driver handed us a BOL, and we crossed out 30 and wrote 26 to indicate the shortage. We signed the BOL and informed both the sender and Estes. Estes then asked me to provide the original receipt and the BOL and fill out a form. I also included a video of the pallets being unloaded and a picture showing the loose plastic on top of the pallet, indicating it was not intact. They declined the claim a day later, saying we did not note the shortage. This shows two things: 1. They train their drivers to give bogus papers to sign upon delivery. However, my copy clearly states we received 26 boxes, not 30. 2. They completely ignore videos and photos to avoid taking responsibility. In my opinion, Estes Express Lines is dishonest and untrustworthy. I will never ship with them again, and I strongly advise others to avoid them as well. read more

As I sit here awaiting water tanks for our ranch, I can feel my anger rising. After reading all of these reviews and being lied to all day, I've had it. Who TF would ever use these idiots? I am also a carrier and I was not aware of anyone worse than JB Hunt. I just found them. If we'd known that Estes had been contracted, I'd have sent my own Ranch Driver to pick up the tanks. What will happen, is we will not be paying the shipping costs to the seller. If the seller doesn't learn their lesson and they continue to use these fools, just as several other shippers above, they themselves will continue to absorb Shipping costs. read more

Long story short...this is where my flooring ended up. In the middle of the street. After two times attempting to deliver this flooring purchased from Home Depot, the third time is the charmer. Almost 70 years old I struggled to get into my property. Just wanted it next to the fence so no one would crash into it since they couldn't get on the other side on my fence. I had a most excellent experience with Estes Express delivering a very heavy pallet of paving stones to my home from Home Depot. They communicated well in advance, called me when they were on their way, and the driver was super polite and professional. He even moved it a little further than required so as to allow my car to get into the driveway. I see that many people have left bad reviews, but honestly, for me, they couldn't have been better. I wonder if some of the bad experiences other people have had might have been due to bad communication between the seller and Estes, not Estes' fault. read more

They lost a 400 pound pallet worth 4000 dollars! How incompetent do you have to be to mange that. Very disgusted with this business! Would not suggest them to my worst enemy. I wonder what they do with all the freight that they so call loose? They probably make a lot of profit on that. read more

0 stars... this freight service is THE WORST 3 day turnaround took 8 days on a high priority part for my platform lift/ elevator. Spoke to 3 different terminals and none of them could find a 300 lb 8 ft part they seemed to misplace. Not only that, their system doesn't update when parts arrive, it updates when they recieve the billing. So your part says it's in jersey and it's actually still in Kansas city. Through this whole process I've been stuck up in my house for 3 weeks waiting for this fix. Tracy, the manager of the newark/ jersey city location " knows how I feel" though, so that definitely brought me some comfort (sarcasm) . I don't know what's wrong with this company or how it's run so @$$ backwards, but DEFINITELY AVOID. read more

Don't use this company. Don't purchase home delivery from Home Depot, as they use this company. They don't meet estimated delivery dates, and a simple request for an updated delivery estimates so I can let my contractors know, gets the response that they have handed off your packages to the home delivery service, so they don't know, and, for me at least, gets you hung up on. read more

I wish I could leave a -5 review for this company. I have no idea how they are even still in business. They dropped my delivery at the wrong place of business and instead of owning up to their mistake, they were rude and nasty and hung up on me instead of listening to the fact that they missed which suite number it was. When I called back the lady I spoke with realized that was their mistake, but then I was placed on hold and someone accidentally took me off hold and I just heard people laughing and talking in the background. INSANE. Lowe's really needs to drop them as a delivery service as well as all the companies I order my gym equipment from. read more

Worst, rude, condescending, and hung up on when I simply asked if my delivery was scheduled. She said it's scheduled. Click...wow. And she was rude for last delivery also. (However the delivery driver was a nice guy) Even ticked off my husband who is super easy going. I was polite and to the point and was not rude to her in any way. Terrible service!!!! They scheduled an appointment on Wednesday, so I took off work to receive shipment. Driver had trouble finding my location, so I sent him a pin. One hour goes by and haven't heard anything so text him if the pin worked, he says "no" and then ghosts me. I call them the next day to see what's going on and they call back to saying they will deliver on Friday. I prepare for Friday and a couple hours go by and no delivery. I call them and they say that the shipment will be Monday now. Now I've wasted vacation for and my own type for 3 days. One of their drivers ROBERT BUTLER Truck 76941 of Delaware, ran a red light and crashed into me on October 25, 2024. Totaled my car and I have been having medical issues since. I am a 54 year old Veteran with a 6 year old Autistic child and my 74 year old Mother who is disabled that I cannot take anywhere since October. Add to the fact that I am so scared to drive now for fear of getting hit again. ROBERT BUTLER took responsibility when my insurance company Geico called him but when his trucking company Aon Risk Services Southwest, Inc contacted him, he is telling a different story and now this has been delayed again and again and again. They also keep saying that a new person has been placed to take care of the issue. This is the 3rd person and now excuses about the holiday delays, pregnancy as well. I'll skip the nightmare of even getting my delivery scheduled as that's a whole novel in itself rivaling some of Stephen King's best work. I'll just talk about today's issue. Finally got scheduled for delivery between 10 am and 3 pm. (guess if they show up or not) 12 pm gets here and based on my previous experience I get a bit worried. Nevermind that I had to clear my schedule and be at home, the bigger issue is that I had to coordinate help in carrying my item up, had to coordinate with a plumber, and had to have my building shut the water off for the entire building I live in. I call and am on hold for 50 minutes. The Estes rep that answered was kind enough to do some research and eventually found out that my item wasn't loaded on the truck and that it won't be delivered today. You'd think the least they could do is call and let me know. But of course they don't. Now I have to try and scramble to find someone to help me carry it up, a plumber, and ask them to shut the water off again to my building in hopes that it actually arrives. EDIT: Brianna - when I first started having issues I went to yelp to see if anyone else was having similar issues, and they were.
