I just finished a move with WB. Shawna was patient as I worked out a move date. The day of the move, they called to let me know what time they would be at my house. They were on time, ready to go. They covered every single item of furniture with pads. They were very careful with my stuff as they were moving. One extra large piece of furniture was really hard to get around the turns and resulted in a small hole in my drywall. Jermaine, took me to see it and we got it straight. The price was competitive, the guys were nice, hard working and honest. I am moving to Waynesboro and I want to make sure to spend my money IN Waynesboro, so I was happy to find WB Movers. I had a bad experience with UPS and even though I contacted them in advance, I ended up with a delivery person who left my order of an adjustable Queen sized bed in my apartment lobby. I decided to try a mover company and WB Movers returned my call within minutes. To my surprise, the pleasant and calm sounding owner said he'd come and to not worry about a charge. My mouth was probably agape. He and his son was there probably within 15 min and just their presence calmed me. Of course I knew it would be large.. it's a bed, and I asked if they needed more equipment or time they certainly could take it. They denied that and they were a great team. I was beyond impressed with them because I realized that these amazing business men didn't expect to be paid or tipped for this amazing effort. I mean they worked HARD. I have experience with movers. I lived in just about every part of this country. Believe me.. the others I encountered were nothing like WB. So of course I paid them and I was Happy to do so. I really appreciated the professionalism of Carlton and WB Movers. I booked them for unloading a truck and assembling furniture for a 6 Bedroom house (included 7 unboxed beds and a pool table amongst other things). They arrived promptly and got to work. Everything that they assembled was done well. The movers were really nice young men who were polite and personable. They use a lot of technology which I like for check in and out times as well as a survey and payment (although Square would be much better than entering the information on a. IPad). My only observation is that I wish that they could have finished faster. I'm no judge of moving and assembling but there were items that I observed that seem to take a bit longer than necessary (despite the mover being relatively focused). Altogether, this move took 2 guys about 15 hours over 2 days. I felt like I paid a fair price for the service. I would use them again. read more

Pros: Our stuff was moved from one house to another. No major damage or broken items. Cons: Slow movers, didn't bring a large enough truck, final price considerably more than quoted price, unprofessional attitude We hired this company for a standard local move to a new house just a few miles away. The person we talked to on the phone was so nice and told us to give the details of our move and pay a small deposit online. We shared a detailed inventory of everything in our home, confirmed the date, time, # movers, etc. a few days before the move, and felt great about our choice. They showed up the day of the move as planned and began loading. Unfortunately, the incorrect number of movers showed up, and they were shockingly slow in loading the truck. They also ended up having to get an additional truck that were expected to pay for even though we had sent them a detailed inventory beforehand. Overall, it took over seven hours for 2-4 men just to load up an average sized three bedroom house (standard, nothing oversized, weird, or especially difficult, all rooms clear and boxes packed and ready to go). Upon unloading, we did not even have them put the boxes in correct rooms or put most of the furniture back together as planned because of the considerable amount of time it was taking. When it was time to pay, they informed us it would be an additional 5% charge for using a credit card. They did not want to take a check and expected us to have cash on a Friday afternoon after 5pm for a move that was hundreds more than we had been expecting. This was the third time my family has used movers. We had great experiences the first two times at different companies. This move with WB Movers was stressful and shocking in how it it was handled. I would NOT recommend this company. The only reason I gave them two stars is because they did give attempt to work with us to reduce the price some (which was about twice as much as they had originally estimated), none of our stuff was broken, and they were responsive to our communication. read more

We called WB Movers to help take our treadmill from the lower level of our house to the upstairs rec room, hoping we could get an appointment relatively soon. We were pleasantly surprised when they said they could have two men here later that same day!! The movers called us when they were leaving to come to our house, and kept in contact along the way. We really appreciated that! They arrived promptly, wrapped up our treadmill in blankets, and had the job done in no time flat. Arranged for the move weeks in advance, arranged daycare for kids, rented the truck, prepped the move, etc etc. They called the morning of the move and said they can't come until much later in the day! So much for all the plans! We only had the truck for that day so we had to hurry to find friends to help us including my 67 y.o. father. Once we arranged for that, then they sent 2 guys at noon out of the blue. While we were thankful for them it was not what we counted on. Those two were very helpful and friendly but... this still caused STRESS! As if moving isn't stressful enough. I insisted on paying by check or credit card so there would be a paper trail (tax reasons and if they said I never paid them... I want a receipt!) They didn't like that. When I tried to contact them via email and phone it took two weeks for their reply. I finally gave up and said 'when they want their money they will call'. When they finally did call the lady on the phone could not simply write down a credit card number. Repeated it 5 times! Come on. I expect a lot more professionalism! Most importantly, show up when you say you are going to. We have another move to coordinate in the next year and I know one company we will not be hiring. I suggest you avoid them as well. read more

Nice guys and good movers. They use trailers instead of full moving trucks. We did a move with WB Movers and, despite some early concerns over the size of the job, they did excellent work. Very careful with wrapping our furniture, and very good at moving it through some very tight stairways and corners without nicking the walls significantly. Highly efficient packing of the truck; they packed our boxes first and then furniture. Everything fit, somehow. Glad we chose them to get the job done. Would recommend. read more

Nice guys; worst move experience ever. Started working with WB Movers over a month prior to the move of a family antique heirloom piano (they advertise piano moves): Prepaid in full. Made sure they were aware it was an 800 lb upright model that needed to come through front door, down 3 steps to a tricky slight corner and then straight down the hall. Requested (and was promised) a preview visit to make sure the piano would fit around the corner. Preview never happened; owner forgot. Day of move; pouring rain; piano sat in driveway in the driving rain, half covered. Once in the front door, I was given a thumbs-up the piano will make the corner, and they began. 2 hours later, piano wedged/stuck on the stairs and in a wall and the crew left to GET THEIR LIFT STRAPS! 2 more hours later, they returned, and took my piano back to storage. Numerous dings and scrapes and dents in the floor, the stairs, the walls, the baseboards And the piano. Poorly planned; unprepared; careless with property and piano; clueless endeavor. Their resolution? They knew a "guy" that could fix the damage to my house. I requested refund and repairs to ONLY walls; I would absorb floor damage, piano damage because it would cost thousands. They hand delivered a check of $250 for repairs if I would sign a waiver to never ask for any other compensation. Because I was requesting a refund and couldn't sign, they took the check back and I have heard nothing since. It has been over a month; no refund, no repairs, no communication. Love your furniture? We got this group to clean our house and it was a horrible idea. They decided to charge us more after arriving at the house than our prior agreement, which we agreed to because we needed it well cleaned and there were 4-5 employees on site at the time. As soon as we agreed to the higher charge, the employees left, leaving one woman and a ~12 year child cleaning our house (is that even legal?). They spent 6 hours doing pretty much nothing and charging us far too much, and by the end when they were trying to continue I just told them to leave. We asked them to clean the bathrooms and floors. They didn't do any of that. I'm pretty sure they were intentionally lingering to collect more hourly fees, and we just didn't realize how pathetic their efforts were until it was too late. I can't speak to their skill as movers, but do not hire them as cleaners. We had to get a different crew to come in the next day just to finish the job. read more
