On a whim, minutes before I left, I thought I'd try the next closest Yamaha dealer, which happened to be Downtown Piano Works. I typed a chat message into their website, expecting a canned AI answer. Instead, Dan, the owner, responded right away. He told me to call him on his cell phone, and without hearing the other store's "lowest" price, he quoted a price that was $1500 less.
