He was worried about a few in the carpet but eventually removed them all. I will definitely use this service again. My family and friends were amazed by the results. I have two dogs and I thought my carpet was completely destroyed from their pee and poop stains. Bryan thank you for reviving my carpet. When cleaning the carpet Bryan doesn't completely soak your carpet in water like most cleaning services, so the dry time is reasonable. The price point was terrific, I quoted about three other companies and his was the best deal.

Long review but it's worth the read:…read more I cannot say enough good things about A-1 Carpet cleaners. From the responsive scheduling to the thorough carpet and rug cleaning. We are in the military and have used many carpet cleaning companies around the US. We have 3 pets (cat + 2 large dogs) and 2 kids (potty training age and infant). We only rented this house for a year, but by the time we were ready to move out you could see outlines of all the furniture and the carpet was 10x darker in high traffic areas. Joe was so knowledgeable on what works and why. He didn't try to upsell you on nonsense and he graciously gave me some discounts after discussing all the rugs and carpet needs. I rented a 1900sq ft house and ~1500 of it was carpeted. I knew this was going to be a dirty job. I even saw the water being drained after he was finished and let's just say red clay dirt is not pet friendly. I warned Joe that this isn't our first rodeo with renting and landlords often try to take our deposits. They claim that the pet odor is still too strong or they need us to pay for more cleanings (one made us clean 3x). He promised the carpets would look better than before we moved in and he was right!! I got a phone call that same week saying they were going to return our deposit and they were so thankful for how well we took care of their house. Mind blown is an understatement. Stop searching and just pick Joe!

Although I initially gave this company a 5-star review, I unfortunately feel compelled to edit my…read morefirst post after closer inspection and some hours of personal cleaning. The walls of the kitchen were not cleaned- I wiped the walls down myself and what stains were present came out quite easily. In addition, the top of my stove hood was not wiped down nor was the top of the refrigerator. The stove itself wasn't very clean, and I spend the last few hours going over the kitchen and cleaning walls and surfaces myself. The stove burners/drip pans and dishwasher were also untouched-- I'm unsure if cleaning this area is part of a typical move-out cleaning, but my move out contract clearly did state that the switch plates need to be cleaned and I left a copy at my apartment for her to reference (and I texted her to let her know it was there). There were also small stains behind my bedroom door and bathroom that were easily removed, so I'm not quite sure why these were still present. The bathroom sink was also not very clean. I don't want to make assumptions, but I feel that areas that were clearly the most difficult to clean were left untouched. All in all, the general apartment was cleaned decently but had I not inspected everything more closely, I think I would've been charged by my apartment for failing to clean certain areas. I'm still giving them 3-stars because communication was easy, and the apartment is definitely a lot cleaner than I had left it. However, if I'm paying a considerable amount of money for a service (especially as a graduate student!), I really do expect to get my money's worth out of said service.
