Ambiance and service was great. Cocktails were innovative and balanced. Carpaccio was good but a little one note for texture. Pork was good, but needed a different texture for side. Otherwise it is just pork and sauce. Alternatively tell me to order Sides. Dessert was good with lots of flavors and texture. Would try again

Servers and hostess were welcoming and service oriented. They offered us three checks, no problem. Little Gems salad was my favorite, the dressing was both creamy and light. My co diners loved the roasted carrot starter. The black cod entree was generous, fresh and flavorful. I will be back

Drinks. Cocktails really seems to be their thing. Creative drinks with fresh ingredients. If that ain't your thing don't worry. They have a large wine selection and a small beer selection. Service. Excellent at the bar and at table service. Atmosphere. The entire place just oozes out cool and relaxing. Great place for drinks and a light meal. Food. Everything was on point. The grilled oysters were great. The Duck Confit was fantastic. Crispiest skin I have ever had with a very nice sauce.

The ambiance at Estelle sets the perfect retro/modern vibe. The food was impressive, the staff were friendly and helpful. However the noise level reminded me of dive bars during my college days. And my wife and I came home smelling like food, which also a reminder of dive bars. Over all it was a good/not great experience. The restaurant is small, and filled with as many tables as they could get in there, so be prepared to get cozy with your neighbor. The food was fantastic, but the wait for food, drinks, and even the check was disappointing. We went on a Saturday night so it is understandable that they were busy. We might try it again because the food was that good.

This was our third visit to Estelle Our server Nadya was great. We sat outside and with the plants it doesn't feel like you're right on the road, it's quite cosy. Love the blue glassware. The drinks were good if a bit smallish in volume for the price, but the lovely stemware is also petite. Appetizers were Little Gem/red romaine? Salad. Good, but the dressing seemed a bit underwhelming assuming it's the same one as at Carnal. The chicken liver mousse was delicate, smooth, delicious, esp with the layer of fat on top, but the mango was too much for me. Came with homemade bread which my dining partner enjoyed. Her main was steak frites. Frites fried in duck fat, what's not to like? Steak was smothered in an off pink plum sauce, and had a few cherry tomatoes on top of the sauce, which didnt seem to go. It tasted so bitter that after a bite she asked to send it back. The server said she would get her another steak, but left her plate on the table. My duck confit was tasty, tender, perfectly crisped. My orange sauce was also bitter but I just didn't eat it. The watercress salad was good, I wished there was more! When the new steak came out, perfectly cooked, it was on a side plate which another server just put down next to the now cold old plate of frites. Because half of the plate had the plum sauce steak we moved her frites over to the side plate of steak. Sigh. Anyway, our server was apologetic and asked what our thoughts were. We were honest and said that there's no need to reinvent the wheel on Steak Frites. A peppercorn or bordelaise or even Betnaise sauce will do the trick every time. Our server did give us a 9$ credit back for the steak, which was nice, but we would've rather had the warm fries tbh.

The drinks were the best! The food choices were few and portions small but quality good. Would I come back? No. Service was excellent.

Each used n/a spirits (n/a mezcal in the latter) and a symphony of sophisticated ingredients, which wish I tell you what. Each had a speared dried citrus slice and a luscious ginger bite (or something!) a top. The first had included honey, but it wasn't sweet--just complexified with a little snap to it that the honey smoothed; the second was a little sweeter in tone, including a bit of huckleberry along with the mezcal. (Connor might recall them by my play name for them. Inspired by a book in my hand on collecting meteorites, I nicknamed the first the "Extraterrestrial Visitor" and the second the "Heavenly Visitor.") They were so delicious I suggested he put them on the menu. If he does or doesn't, no matter. Just ask him if he has time to get creative for you. He'll ask you flavor tone preferences, or you can just go for whatever he wants to make, like I did. Again, he is excellent. I enjoyed my lovely drinks with a Caesar salad (another OMG!) which included crispy bacon bits and loads of tiny shreds of a delicious white cheese along with a creamy dressing. It was scrumptious as was the very lovely charcuterie plate. Pistachios, green apple slices, fat outstanding Castelvetrano olives (caution: with pits), a luscious pepper jelly that went beautifully dipped into with their choice of excellent crackers, delicately flavored salami and a prosciutto so elegantly-flavored it could make you weep. And it was lovely enjoying it all on their "porch" on a sunny day.

The place has potential but honestly disappointed. See photo below of the Hummus Platter. Really? Next came the "Baked Brie with Figs & Cherries" - which sounded delicious. No figs in sight - yes, a ramekin of baked brie with a bit of cherry in it, but... uninspired. We also ordered the Stuffed Potobello - and left most of it on the plate. Pros? It was close to our hotel, and has charming half-moon booths. Summary? Uninspired with potential.

Wonderful food and drinks. I started with oyster shooters (Willapa Bay) along with a Lion's Tail cocktail. Sierra said the bourbon and lime complement each other. I wouldn't have thought so and thought it a bit of an odd choice. But she was right and I was wrong: it was fabulous. One of the most delicious drinks I've ever had, for my tastes. She gave me several recommendations for dinner. I picked the Jalapeño Chicken. It was luscious and flavorful, but the best part of it was my choice of Balsamic Brussels sprouts as my side--oh my! These were so delicious I ordered two more batches to have at home. Lovely espresso martini to end it all.

The service was nice and prompt, they were catering to my alterations and helpful with suggestions. The Brussels sprouts were crunchy and properly cooked! The chicken was a little on the drier side but still satisfying. I think separately all the food was properly cooked, but the flavors didn't really mesh well. For the area it's a little pricey but i think the view, vibe, and food elevates it above other local fare of fairhaven.

The patio can get a bit chilly, but it's worth it for the view, and they do have heaters available. I started with a salad, followed by the Keenan's burger with a garbanzo bean patty, and the soup du jour. All three were delicious. The complimentary bread served with garlic herb spread was a wonderful start--aromatic and very satisfying. The salad had a great balance of fresh vegetables and toppings. On a cold day, the soup was especially comforting. The burger itself was well prepared and flavorful. The staff was polite and attentive, though they seemed a bit overwhelmed due to a large party seated next to us. Another nice perk: there's a boardwalk and beach right next door, making it a great place for a stroll before or after your meal.

The station burger is small and tasted greasy and off. You have to pay $5 extra for fries, otherwise a burger with no side is like $14. Our server seemed annoyed when we asked for smaller drinks with lids for my grandkids, and ended up charging us the full $4 for lemonades which were maybe 4 oz. (same price as adult full-size lemonade.) We had originally asked for chocolate milk but they claimed they didn't have any. I wonder how they make their chocolate shakes then? At least 2 families got up and left without eating. That wasn't an option for us, since the kids would have been upset and we were all so hungry. Then when I paid, I tried to explain to our server why I wasn't leaving a 20% tip and she started making excuses and arguing with me. The only good thing was the kids got to hug the Bob's Big Boy statue, a long standing tradition! I used to love this place, but none of us will be going back again.

They have a nice selection of taps (including more than just beer), some vintage video games, and offer live music regularly. On our most recent visit, we found one of our fave local musicians, Michael Dayvid, playing and managed to snag a cozy seat in the front row. We sipped our pints (I got an amber, Dude got an IPA) and enjoyed the show - right after a rousing game of Pac Man, of course. This is large space, so there's seating in the back if you don't want to be front row for the music. The service is friendly, too. Parking can be a little challenging, as it's only street parking, but it's not too bad. In a town that has a lot of breweries, but could use a few more cozy taphouses, Corner Taphouse fills a niche (especially in the Fairhaven area). I hope they continue to thrive!
