The days and times of operation include every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Great Hills Trail and Jollyville Road (in front of Juliet's Italian Kitchen). The market brings together 40+ local food vendors and artisans in an outdoor space at The Arboretum. What really stands out is the variety of items available for sale. You'll find everything from fresh baked goods, local produce, and meats to hot foods, plus a wide range of handmade items like jewelry, apparel, art, and home goods. I purchased an alligator pastry from My.Boulangerie....so delicious and decadent. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming...very much like a neighborhood market vibe. It's free to attend, family friendly, and dog friendly, which makes it an easy Saturday outing whether you're browsing solo, meeting friends, or bringing children and fur babies. The market is set up in a parking lot space. Another highlight is the chance to talk directly with vendors. Many are small batch food producers or independent artisans who are happy to share the story behind their products, which adds a personal touch you don't get at larger commercial markets. My fiancée was excited to treat me to some replacement plants from the store that stated it all and got me a gift card. We drove up to Plant Party last weekend and were shocked to find out that the brick and mortar store that used to be there is completely empty. This was pretty confusing to us because the website said absolutely nothing about this status of the store changing. Neither do any of their social media platforms. We drove home disappointed and my fiancée reached out to the store owner to ask about how we could get our plants because my store gift card was for the in-person store. We were informed that we could either get a refund or use the credit on the gift card towards the online store. Unfortunately, the options on the site were pretty limited and the store online has a 75 dollars order limit, which was more than we were intending to spend (hence the 50 dollar gift card). As such, my partner decided to reach out again to try and get her refund. It has been several days and several attempts of contacts later and we have heard nothing. So my partner has filed a claim with her credit card company. To say we are extremely disappointed with the service is an understatement. We really had such fond memories of Plant Party prior to this, but this entire situation has definitely soured our opinion. Update: We have still not received our refund, and we were never communicated with that the refund would be going through until I posted this review. I feel like there is a general struggle with communication. I understand that business close and go, but based off of their social media and the website, one would not think that the store was closed and that led to multiple issues on our end. We drove all the way to Austin to try and support a business we both enjoyed just to find an empty store. Clarity would have been greatly appreciated.

They have pretty much every imaginable perennial and annual along with succulents and trees, even large mature trees. Most everything here has pricing attached to it, but not everything. They have lots of PVC and accessories for lawn sprinklers. They don't have a great selection of mulch and they only sell large quantities of weed preventative permeable ground cover. They even have some large pavers and stones. It's likely they offer a discount if you buy in quantity. If you have any scheduling concerns, you can give them a call and they will give you an ETA accurate within ten minutes! If you'll be out of the house, you can reschedule for another day. Unlike other delivery services, they will make sure you're home and not leave your frozen meat at the door unattended. I will be canceling all other delivery subscriptions and switching to Hardies. You can even tip your driver in cash if you wish.

Hardie's Direct curbside pickup service has been an AWESOME alternative to HEB online ordering or…read morestanding in line at grocery stores. All you have to do is submit & pay your order online at least 1 day ahead, then select your pickup time (8AM - 3PM (Mon-Sat)). When it's time to go get your groceries, you drive up to the warehouse, give them your order number, then pop open the trunk. They will wheel your groceries out and put them directly into the car trunk for you. We have ordered from Hardie's a couple times so far, and the produce has consistently been good quality (a few bruised items here and there, but nothing major). Since we are only ordering for 2 people, some of the bulk perishable items are not really an option for us. But this would be an even better deal for families or homes with multiple roommates! Driving Tip: Hardie's provides some directions and instructs customers to look for the orange cones. In addition to that, we've noticed you can enter the business park from Burnet or Metric. Both sides work, but Hardie's is a little easier to find if you enter from Metric.
