The smell is pretty strong when you go in- so if you are sensitive to smells, then be prepared. I however am not, and found it heavenly. They have samples in cute little bags if you don't want to commit to a large bottle of one of their signature blends they had a pulled pork that had been done in a Russian blend as a tasting sample and it was excellent. I of course tried the chili mix at home with some ground elk and it was excellent- easy to regulate your heat level. They have most of your standard spices- very good quality. This is a great hometown business that I'm glad I stumbled into.

It was easy enough to order online and once the order is ready, you can just drive up to the business to pick up your order. I live close by so it's easy enough to just go there but they also do shipping of orders. They only take cash so be prepared for that. But it was easy to drive up and they bring it right out to your car. I've already made 3 - 4 batches and it really makes amazing iced tea. We drink about a gallon of iced tea a day in our household and we like it unsweetened so the flavor has to be really fresh. I know they supply to many of the restaurants throughout the Greater Austin area and if you are fanatical about your tea like I am, you'll appreciate this tea. Even if you are the occasional drinker, you won't find a better tea!

My wife and I brought our pups with us and they allowed them in the store with no issue. The owners are very friendly and communicate with everyone who walks into their store. Their knowledge about the products they sell and offer from other veteran owned businesses is amazing. Rebecca the owner gave us a detailed walk through the entire shop since we were her first customers of the day. She explained about the hot sauces they offer and the spices you can use for cooking or grilling. She sold me a couple of spices to try out. They even spelled good, she explained that one of the was Italian but she said I could use it on meats such as chicken. My wife ended buying a lot of teas to try. She has been here before my visit today. The place is located right in the heart of the Salado shops. It's right off the main st. There are two parking spaces up front and more parking spaces in the back. There is even an open field to let your pups roam around and do their dirty deed. Just make sure to pick up after your pup.
