I was able to choose which stylist to see which is a great feature but since I had never been there before I chose "any stylist" from the website. When I arrived I only had to wait a short time and was seen by the next available stylist at the time I was scheduled. My stylist was also the manager, Jackie Willhite. She first took her time discussing my hair color, my wants, likes and the color shades she professionally recommended for me and she did so as if I were her only appointment or client. She did just what I wanted and I was very pleased. She brought back my natural blonde hair color, just as I wanted. After I left I was back & forth on maybe wanting a few more highlights added. I won't be back. Here's my experience. I checked in online and had a 40 min wait. I got there…read moreslightly after the 40 min were up and checked in at the counter. There were two stylists: the manager and a guy with a pony-tail. Each had a customer. Pony-tail finished first so i expected him to sweep his area and put me in the chair. Since i had to wait 40 min for check-in that tells me the place was busy and he would show some urgency. Wrong. He just left. He disappeared for a while then came back out and started doing cleanup tasks that didn't look very urgent. (It's not like the place was dirty or garbage cans overflowing.) I had now been there 20 minutes past check in. Soon, a man walked in who had not checked in online. A few minutes later the manager finished her customer, piddled around and took the recent arrival. I should have raised holy hell but I figured she had decided pony-tail was going to cut my hair. So i was polite and kept my mouth shut. Time passed. I was now there 30 min and pony-tail was still doing God-knows-what. I waited a few more minutes and left. I've had enough of that place. There are some good people there but this experience was NOT unusual at this location. There's never been a sense of urgency. There's also an arrogance among some of the staff that i don't find at other Great Clips. It feels like they think they're doing you a favor by cutting your hair. I like going there because, like i said, there are ARE good people working there . . . but unfortunately, those problems have been growing worse over the last year or so. May be time to re-train the staff and lay down some stricter rules. But it's not my circus so those aren't my monkeys to worry about. Hopefully the franchise owner can light a fire under their ass.

I kept my hair short and didn't need a stylist of her caliber until recently when Wifey asked me to grow my hair out. So, I did but I didn't know what to do with it and it grew in unexpectedly curly! Jenn may have other specialties, but I've always known her to have magical talents with curly hair. Wifey made an appointment for me and I'll be a loyal patron from now on based on that experience. I got a style, an education about curly hair, entertainment, an affordable fancy schmancy product (turns out my all-in-one body wash, breakfast beverage, shampoo, and earlobe lube wouldn't work anymore), and a bit of confidence about how to handle my new luscious locks. We were very pleased with everything. I especially have to brag on my masseuse Matt. I've been dealing with upper arm pain for about 10 months. I've even been to another masseuse and I have received very little relief. Matt worked on my "locked" muscle and I'm almost back to normal.
