She said she needed to see if she had any beans...I'm at a coffee shop...in fact there are bags of beans on the shelves for sale. She said sorry we don't have any beans. I was a bit confused because it is a menu option and I'd never been told that before. We went back and forth a bit and I just decided to ask for an americano and call it a loss for getting a pour over. I bought two drinks and one bag of coffee (17.59?) which felt a touch high for in store and small town... total order was about $38, I hope there beans are good. Last thing the restroom was marked "we are out of toilet paper" hmm... I walked in, looked at the cups and in that time was greeted politely by every employee on the right side of the counter. To my surprise, when the employee asked what the name was for my drink I found it right on the counter already ready! Baristas did such an excellent job. They brewed a fresh batch. Put all the cups together. Put extra Grande cup of cream and other condiments that my meeting folks might need. Thank you so much for being so courteous and efficient. Few hours after my meeting, I had a long drive and this location wasn't far from my meeting. I decided to return to get a medium roast, "Casi Cielo," in my personal cup. Once again, baristas did amazing job here. Special thanks to the young guy that helped me with my To-Go Order. Despite them being out of "Casi Cielo." He did a Pour Over. Honestly, I think pour over has something little more special because the flavor is different and the full body aroma was different. Mainly because it is convenient and consistent. I do like to try local coffee places while I am traveling. I'm glad I stopped at this coffee place. The coffee was fantastic! The flavor was great, and the blueberry muffin top was moist and delicious as well. I did inquire if they have any locations in Texas... They said they were starting to branch out. I look forward to trying them again.
