It's antique like but also has a modern touch. TONS of seating and it was pretty quiet, a great place to study or work. It appears to be an old house or something- the place was very big! Service was wonderful. Barista was very sweet! The pastries look amazing but I didn't try them.

Whether I wanted to hole up in the cafe for hours to study or grab a quick drink to-go, Doc's fits the bill. The cafe is so cute, and there is an abundance of seating and tables if you're looking to catch up with friends or study. The ambience is cozy and eclectic. I really like how the cafe is not completely open; instead, there are many nooks and crannies you can settle into, which allows for more privacy than many other cafes. Their menu is huge (coffee, pastries, sandwiches, etc.) and they also often have fun seasonal or specialty drinks that I love to try. I recently had the cookie butter draft latte, which was absolutely delicious. I'd never had a draft latte, but I was so glad I gave it a try (shoutout to the employee who explained it to me too). Service has always been amazing, even though they can get busy as a coffee shop in a college town. Doc's is also conveniently located in the cutest shopping area, if you're interested in antique or plant shopping after grabbing a drink!

If you are a coffee snob combing through yelp right now to find a "real" coffee shop that knows what they're doing...stop right in. Not to mention purchasing the organic herbs and spices for cooking and teas at home as well as so many other things. One year, for Christmas, I purchased a variety of the products they carry - including but not limited to hand made soaps and salves, fragrant oils and a number of other items. I put them in a large decorative bag and gave them to my sister's family at Christmas dinner. They loved sorting through them and choosing what they wanted. It was a big hit. Another time, I purchased a gift card there for a friend's birthday. He loves to cook and I knew he would enjoy browsing through the considerable number of organic herbs and spices Emily carries. The emphasis at Righteous Remedies is on health and wellness as well as supporting local artisans and providing a warm, relaxing environment for people just wanting to take a break from the outside world for a little while. Or just to grab an excellent tea on the run. And I have met some really nice people there.

We stopped at Big Cuppa's location on Broadway in Morrilton for a rest, some coffee and something for breakfast. We found all. Mrs. K enjoyed her latte and I enjoyed my big pourover of "Mexican" that was delicious with notes of brown sugar. Awesome to have a real cup of coffee today! With it, an egg and cheese on an everything bagel that was prepared fresh. Delicious and filling and I'm glad we ate it here as the seeds went everywhere. Yummy. If we didn't have 1000 more miles of driving to do, we'd have stayed longer. This felt like the sort of coffee shop where you could work from your laptop for a long while.
