I am always going to choose #LocalCoffee over any of the big chains and today's choice was the right one. We stopped at Big Cuppa's location on Broadway in Morrilton for a rest, some coffee and something for breakfast. We found all. Mrs. K enjoyed her latte and I enjoyed my big pourover of "Mexican" that was delicious with notes of brown sugar. Awesome to have a real cup of coffee today! With it, an egg and cheese on an everything bagel that was prepared fresh. Delicious and filling and I'm glad we ate it here as the seeds went everywhere. Yummy. If we didn't have 1000 more miles of driving to do, we'd have stayed longer. This felt like the sort of coffee shop where you could work from your laptop for a long while. I went through Lil Cuppa this morning, after sleeping maybe three hours last night, and the power going out this morning, so I was not having a great start to my day. Excellebt coffee in a very nice, clean location. This inviting coffeehouse is a much needed upgrade to the sleepy downtown area of Morrilton. The baristas are friendly and skilled. I ordered a large caffe breve and was on my way in just a few moments. My beverage was the perfect temperature and I was impressed by the deep rich and mellow flavor. I'm a Starbucks regular and not a coffee expert, so this was a pleasant surprise. There is a plenty of comfortable looking seating to lounge about in whole you tap away on your laptop, surrounded by interesting artwork on the walls. I look forward to a return visit. Added a fifth star 05/15/19 because this place only gets better. Congratulations and Happy 2nd Anniversary! We went to the drive thru location on our way back to Texas from Jasper. The lady at the window was very friendly and welcoming. The menu has a huge variety-lots of different drinks and lots of flavors. Wish I lived closer so I could try more things! Would stop here again if in the area again. This is a gem in a small town that everyone who has an opportunity to go to SHOULD ! The family owned business had delicious food and drinks! Coffee specials and London Fog that rival wonderful coffees shops in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Our family- 3 generations on Spring Break in Petit Jean State park had great quick service and every entree and drink was served in a friendly way by the staff and tasted wonderful.If we are ever in this area again we will certainly visit this top notch shop! read more

Big Cuppa is THE BEST COFFEE, EVER!!!! Joe roasts the beans, himself. He also makes the syrups. Danielle, his wife, does a lot of the baking. What a perfect coffee shop! I live in Conway but my friend who works in Morrilton told me about this new place and we decided to try it. I would drive out this way again just to enjoy this little spot. The cold brew coffee was perfect - very smooth and not at all bitter. I asked for skim milk and the perfect amount was added. My friend got an iced black and white and it was the best I have ever had - not too sweet, either. We shared chocolate chip cookies with my daughter and they were so good! Not overly sweet, either, and perfectly chewy. The atmosphere is funky/eclectic, with a perfectly relaxed vibe. My daughter just got a water and they gave her a glass to refill her own at their water station which was very convenient. There is a mixture of tables, chairs, and couches. It is not a huge space but is perfect enough for a small crowd and it wouldn't feel crowded. The baristas were friendly. I look forward to returning! read more

Stopped by from the highway because I wanted to try something local. They had a good mix of traditional and more creative concoctions here; I went for the lavender + cardamom latte. The barista was very knowledgeable and promised the drink wouldn't be too sweet, which turned out to be true. He generously filled my thermos to the brim and I loved the smooth espresso, accentuated by lightly sweet floral notes from the lavender. I'm not sure what cardamom is supposed to taste like so I cant say I noticed any additional flavor beyond maybe a hint of warm spice. Overall lovely and a great, quick stop. read more

Favorite coffee shop. Probably the best thing to happen to this town in years. Not only do they roast their own coffee and make everything with as many fresh local ingredients as they can get their hands on, but they will make you A N Y T H I N G as you see fit and have always provided amazing service. They have hosted art, games, and karaoke nights. This place goes above and beyond what I ever expected a place to be in this town and have a lot of community involvement. Their soups and sandwhiches are great. I have probably put them to the test of making new things many times now, and I have never disappointed with the results!
