Espi Bagwell came highly recommended by friends. I started looking into buying a house in Duarte, and eventually selling my existing condo in Arcadia. When I started the process, I did not know that I would buy a new house and sell the old one within 3 months, which included escrow at both places. I had to do this alone, without a family's support. Espi is a true professional in every possible ways. She is a perfect business women, understanding the market at the highest level. She never was wrong predicting outcomes in both transactions. The current market for buying a house in my price range was not favorable. More interest, less available homes. Multiple offers for good quality homes, left no room for hesitation. She artfully negotiated a house for me, which was the best possibility in the favored area, in my price range, and was perfect for my needs. I just enjoyed observing a true professional at work. She is smart. We were in escrow within 4 days, and we started thinking about selling my existing condo. If you ever bought and sold homes during the same time period, you would know much work is involved. I worked full time also, holding up my extremely demanding job. Espi was fantastic. She was not only my agent, bu my sister, my best friend, who always knew how to help. She exceeded the duties of a real estate agent. She is an extraordinary person. She and her crew of contractors became my extended family. She moved plumbers, painters, electricians, handyman, movers between my houses as it was needed. She works hard. She went home after midnight to make sure, that my unit is ready for the open house. Every business move she made - was professionally timed. I was just amazed. She staged my condo with a perfect taste, which I noted as an other talent of hers.
She is highly ethical with everybody involved. But she was also clear, that she represented me, and my interests. She sold my condo for a top price within 5 days after the open house. She kept me focused on important issues, and did not let me stressed out over insignificant items.
In two weeks buying my new house (still selling my condo), a dangerous wild fire spread too close to the house. The neighborhood was evacuated. Espi was the first to call me, and offering her own house to stay until the fire danger would lift.
I wish I had the time to list everything that she did for me. I am very happy now, looking back at the fantastic time selling and buying my homes with my wonderful new friend, Espi :-) read more
