I first met Jerry's team hosting an Open House event a few months ago in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley area. At the time I was getting ready to sell my house close by, so I wanted to see how the market was. The Open House experience was superb. I followed the house on Redfin and just a few days later the house became Under Contract, and then it was sold at a very good price. When it came to my time, I called Jerry up. He came fully prepared with everything. He provided me full market research, analysis, selling strategy, listing preparations, city compliance/clearance, and a full marketing plan. Everything was well-thought out. Right after the listing, Jerry hosted an Open House event. We received a number of very good offers. Jerry was excellent in the offer selection and the negotiation with buyers. Within just a month, the sale was successfully closed with a very good price. Jerry is sharp, driven, knowledgeable, and transparent. I'd highly recommend Jerry to anyone who needs expert help in Real Estate. He has everything that you need. read more

Jerry was cheerful, easy to talk to, and offered a competitive rate right from the start without us having to negotiate. He was also generous in connecting us with trusted vendors before we even signed a listing agreement, which gave us the flexibility to decide whether to sell or rent during a slower market. His marketing package was comprehensive, including a professional website, aerials, videos, 2D and 3D floor plans, bilingual marketing materials, and even included professional cleaning. Everything was coordinated in a timely manner to prepare for Coming Soon, Listing, and Open House weekend. Jerry also hired wonderful people. Mandy, his marketing assistant, was friendly and incredibly easy to work with. She had a great eye for showcasing our home and was speedy and attentive with all the detailed edits on the website, descriptions, photos, and flyers. Photographer Michael captured the house beautifully with a variety of angles and brilliant lighting, and Justina went above and beyond in cleaning the house, windows, and garage. In addition to his team, it's obvious that Jerry has solid working relationships with his recommended vendors. Everyone gave the impression that they would treat Jerry's clients well with proper attention, fair pricing, and diligent work to present our home well. Yumi created a thoughtful mood board that helped us visualize how the staging would look. She was generous in sharing design advice and honest about what would and wouldn't work, even for areas we planned to decorate ourselves. Mr. Zhuo rearranged his schedule to make sure everything was finished in time and done in a quality manner knowing Jerry's professional standards. He was very responsive, humble, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable. All the preparations paid off when multiple offers came in. Jerry walked us through multiple strategies, shared his recommendations, and was flexible in going with what we were most comfortable with. Near the finish line, Jerry took the initiative to come up with a solution that got buy-in from all parties and sealed the deal before the weekend. We greatly appreciate him for that! Jerry's support went beyond what's expected of a real estate agent. Throughout the process, he helped check on our house and even brought quality food to feed our neighborhood cat. We are truly grateful for that, especially knowing how busy he was. It speaks to Jerry's kind character, which makes him even more nice to work with. read more

I did a google search for highest rated realtor in my area and Jerry was one that popped up. I also made appointments with other realtors, but Jerry seemed to be the best fit for us. Jerry is a a professional in every aspect. Everything from marketing, listing, staging, negotiating and photos, Jerry does it all and does it well. Buying and selling a house is extremely stressful. But Jerry's team has everything streamlined which helped a lot, we were able to see all offers online and anytime we had questions Jerry was a text away. Choosing a realtor that has the experience and the tools to is super important when selling your house (I learned the hard way). I can't speak highly enough of Jerry. I met Jerry initially in 2015, and I was immediately impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm. Fast forward ten years later, I still had not met another realtor who I would have trusted more than Jerry to sell my condo. It is not easy to sell a condo in the current market with high interest rates and newly enacted laws, especially as an out-of-state seller, but Jerry was able to help me jump through the hoops and persevere and got the condo successfully sold. I highly recommend Jerry to anyone who plans to sell his/her home in LA. read more

Jerry is THE BEST! I live in the SF area and needed to sell my aunt's LA condo, and Jerry was a blessing. He went above and beyond. He met me the same day on short notice while I was in LA over a weekend, came prepared with comps, and recommended some improvements before listing the condo. I appreciated his support to help me manage a remodel from afar--FaceTiming updates and keeping things moving along. Jerry is a professional who is responsive, trustworthy, and supported my decisions through pricing and negotiations without pressure. Even after closing, he handled extra details like retrieving the last of my aunt's mail at the condo, picking up the check from the escrow office and depositing it at the bank, and shipping the mail and deposit receipt to me. Again, above and beyond - highly recommend Jerry for anyone buying or selling! read more

We can't begin to recommend Jerry Sun enough for helping us with our Pasadena home purchase! Choosing Jerry as our agent was the best decision we made, particularly in this most stressful and competitive housing market. He was the most helpful, friendly, and approachable agent whose knowledge of the whole home buying process, from start to finish, put us at great ease. And now that we have our home, we look forward to maintaining a lasting friendship with him. He was highly responsive to any questions that we had and made himself available whenever we needed him. He liased so well and efficiently between us and all parties typical to a real estate transaction, including our home insurer, lender, and selling agent. His experience as our buying agent shone, especially when it came to negotiating different elements of the offers we submitted, as well as our offer post-acceptance. Importantly, Jerry never, ever pressured us into any decision that we were uncomfortable with, including choosing him as our agent! He gave us great and strategic guidance, but ultimately let us be the deciding factor, especially when negotiating on price and contingencies. Ultimately, Jerry's exceptional skills and abilities ensured that we got the best house that we will be so happy to be living in forever!! read more

First things first, I never thought selling a house could be such a smooth and hassle-free experience. Jerry is the guy that made it possible. Jerry is possible the best seller agent you can find, ever. This is not an exaggeration. and No, I am not paid for the review. I just felt compelled to tell all the potential sellers out there that you owe it to yourselves to at least talk to Jerry before you sign your contract with any other agent. You will be glad you did and I am gonna tell you why. We all probably know there could be countless things that could go wrong during the selling process and every little things adds up to the whole experience. Let me just tell you something you don't get from your average/good agent. Does your agent take the initiative to offer staging, repair and cleaning services FREE OF CHARGE? Does your agent work on the background and take care of the problems before you knew about them? Does your agent fight tooth and nail with loan appraisal to push back on unreasonable demands? Last but not least, does you agent offer all these extra services and yet charge very reasonable commission rate? I mean VERY reasonable. I meet Jerry a few months ago when I went to tour an open house sold by Jerry. I was very impressed with the presentation of the house and found out that he and his team did the staging. Back then I was thinking about selling my old house once I buy a bigger one. I contacted Jerry to set up a consultation soon after I bought my new house. My old house is a single family house with small lot in an average neighborhood. House condition was OK but could use some repair. First thing Jerry asked was why I wanted to sell the house and then explained that with current rental trend I would have a healthy cash flow if I kept it instead of selling. At no time I felt Jerry was trying to persuade me to sell the house. Being first time seller, we were concerned with many things that we felt would be major negatives for a buyer but Jerry sifted through all my concerns and pinpointed out a few small things that can improve the prospect of the house without extensive and expensive repair/remodeling. While he was telling me what needs to be done on the house before we list it, I was thinking in the back of my mind on how much all this will cost me. You can imagine my surprise when I heard that his team will take care of all these free of charge. All I need to do is a single trip to home depot and buy a few small plants for the front yard, three bags of pebbles, a fresh pint of paint and leave them all in the garage for less than 100 bucks. Before the house was listed, Jerry and his team repaired all the things he mentioned, cleaned up and landscaped the front yard, painted nail holes and faded color patches on the walls and cleaned the house inside out including insides of the refrigerator that we are gonna leave behind. His team then took the listing photos and touched them up so the listing is attractive. After the offers are in, he then came up with an ingenious counter strategy to get me better offers yet. Once the house is pending he updated me periodically on the progress. Occasionally Jerry would call me to sign some documents and only then I would find out that for the past few days, he was working hard in the background taking care of issues. He added a water pan under my water heater outside the house just to meet the code. His handyman acutally went to home depot and matched the color himself and bought/painted the wall because the one I bought was not a 100% match. He could have told me all these and more and asked me to help out but no, he took care of them all before I knew there were problems. The buyer's FHA appraisal asked us to add guard rails on the 2 steps of stair in the front yard no higher than 12 inch total. Jerry fought back with California law / regulation that rails are not required. With the impossible FHA demand, we were risking the deal to a halt with all the time invested gone to waste, he then had buyer install the guard rail with their money before they even bought the house. Again, he mentioned about it during his periodic update after he took care of it. On my final visit to the house, I was very impressed with what Jerry and his team have done for the house. If you want to maximized your house selling proceed with no hassle, you can't go wrong to sell with Jerry. Nobody I talked to had ever heard of a seller agent like Jerry. I am recommending Jerry to all my contacts who are thinking about selling their houses because Jerry deserves it. Jerry, thank you again. read more

I called Jerry thinking he might speak Korean to help my mom sell her home. Unfortunately for me, he only speaks Mandarin....and English of course. Anyway, my mom wants to move to a retirement community. My situation is a bit more complicated, but I won't add the details here. Anyway, when I spoke to Jerry, he really went above and beyond providing advise on my specific situation. I still need to figure a few things out, but he probably took a good 15-20 minutes explaining what I needed to do, while knowing that he wouldn't get me as a client due to my specific situation. I personally really value someone helping a stranger with real estate questions, while trying not to get taken advantage of. In the future, if I do buy another home, or have friends who are buying/selling, I am definitely going to recommend him due to his honesty and helpfulness. read more

Jerry Sun is a fantastic realtor. He sold our rental property quickly, efficiently, and with the utmost professionalism at all times. He is enthusiastic, confident, and an all-around good guy. Given our poor track record with realtors, I decided to search Yelp. Jerry just stood out. So I gave him a call and we met for coffee. Jerry put us at ease immediately and treated us like an old friend. Selecting Jerry after meeting him was a no brainer. Within a week, our house was on the market, with a slick 360 degree video and a beautiful card stock flyer. Jerry kept us informed weekly via an email and found us a buyer in a month. In addition, Jerry is a stellar negotiator. He knows what he is doing! Throughout the entire process, I always felt like we were in good hands with Jerry as our realtor. Spoiler alert: Despite the gushing expressed in this review, it is not written by Jerry's mother; it's written by a brother and sister for whom Jerry has sold a couple of houses. Let's start with the fact that aside from being a realtor, Jerry is, in our opinion, just a really fine human being. He always does what he says he's going to do, which is plenty. Whenever there is a problem, big or tiny, he says, "Don't worry, I'll take care of it." And he does, even if the problem is not exactly in his job description. Then there's his marketing. Jerry utilizes the internet to its full potential. All of his media, both printed and online, is more polished and professional compared to other realtors. He will make your house look like a place you would want to move into; it borders on magical. When you hire Jerry, you are not just paying for the hours he puts in; you are paying for his advice, solid advice that is based on current market trends and good business judgement. False promises or hidden agendas are not in Jerry's playbook. Plus, he does all this with a real happiness which reflects a guy who loves his job. read more
