Allison + Camille are the perfect duo whether you're a first time homebuyer and need a lot of hand holding or if you're a seasoned buyer with properties under your name already. First of all - they text you! So you can quickly tap and see their suggestions on available inventory. I work fulltime and freelance so the only time I reply to emails is when its work related, my personal agenda tends to get pushed til 11pm or later. But since they text me, if I'm getting a quick bite I can skim easier and reply with "lets take a tour" or "pass"! Secondly, Camille is super sweet, patient, and kind. She has shown me so many properties, and each time when I felt let down she always encourages me that theres something out there. In 2020 I worked with a different agent and she said that to me too, but she was always late or gave me the code whenever there was a showing. Not Camille - she always showed up. As moral support, guidance, especially if you're buying for the first time and alone. Lastly, once you set your eyes on it, Allison shoots over docusign like target on a bullseye. Quick & efficient, and even after I got the condo I troubled them for some questions and they still answered (did not get the vibe like the sale is done and theyre like byeeee) I'll be going to them for selling & buying in the future. And have already recommended them to more than a handful. read more

Alison and Jason are the dream team that landed us our dream home. As first time buyers they took the time to educate us, entertain our "what if" whims and eventually go to bat to make us the winners in a difficult market. I've happily passed them along to friends looking to buy (who also have success stories) - their history of word of mouth customers speaks for itself! read more

Alison Huddy and her husband Jason are great real estate agents. Their expertise is in Northeast Los Angeles (Atwater, Echo Park, Silver Lake, Highland Park, Eagle Rock, & more). I originally started looking for a property at the beginning of 2015 with a different agent and made many, many offers that were all rejected. I felt as though something was missing in the process - the previous agent didn't give me very good tips/advice during our trips to open houses, and she also was not able to make it to more than half of the open houses I wanted to see. Alison, on the other hand, made herself very available to me which was extremely important especially as I was a first time homebuyer. She filtered out houses that she thought would meet my criteria and even went ahead to see the houses before we went together. As you can imagine, this saved me a lot of time as I'm usually not able to see any open houses during the weekday due to work. She gave me tips that were definitely helpful - tips on whether the house would be easy to sell in the future, tips on location of property, etc. To top it off, she has a great bubbly personality that makes you love seeing her every single weekend for those open houses. In the end, her many years of experience helped me to purchase a house of my dreams, in less than 2 months of working together! She used several tactics that I found very smart. IMAGINE if I had started off with her! Throughout the very stressful escrow process, Alison was there with me every step - from inspections to loan appraisal. I highly recommend Alison if you are looking to buy a property in Los Angeles. read more

I just bought a condo in DTLA with Alison's SUPERB help. I'd originally started my search with a friend and we were looking for investment property. That morphed into me looking for a single-family home on the East Side ... and then that morphed into me realizing that, really, I always wanted to live downtown. At the end of the day, we found the perfect place for me and Alison was a tremendous champion the whole way through. She's smart, funny, and really dialed in to the marketplace. She's also really patient ... I didn't see even one eye roll from her as I shifted my plan over and over again. I'd highly recommend Home Sweet Huddy to anyone looking in the LA area. You won't regret it! read more

If not for Alison, we would not have our first home. Period. We started seriously looking in the beginning of the year. We started with another agent, but I just wasn't feeling the love from her. She basically said, you do the research and I'll show up to unlock the doors. Nope, this didn't work for me. As first-timers, we needed our hands held. We needed someone to tell us, 'no you don't want this street' or 'yes, this is a great area with the best elementary school.' So I started looking for an agent who knew Northeast LA. The real estate gods sent us our angel Alison. I got a great vibe from her the moment we talked on the phone. As new moms, she was speaking my language about schools and all the great activities in the area I had no idea about. We hit the ground running with appointments she booked that very Saturday. She took us to all the properties we 'thought' we wanted. It was courteous of her and very enlightening. She basically said, nope this is not what you want. Which was great! We needed someone with experience living in the area to tell us the truth. That afternoon and through the rest of the week, Alison sent us properties she felt would be right. Very proactive. And boy was she on the money. That next Sunday we went to the open house for the Hill Drive house. When we told her we really liked it, she dropped everything and was there in 15 minutes. She spoke with the seller's agent and asked so many questions I wouldn't even know to ask. We put in an offer on Monday and after a multiple-counter, they accepted on Wednesday. That was it! Alison also referred us to excellent mortgage brokers. The seller's agent told me that there were a few factors that made the sellers pick us. One was they knew Alison as a fellow local agent and the other was the success working with the mortgage brokers Alison referred. As fate would have it, we left the country that very next week. You have all these inspections you need to schedule during escrow. I was beside myself. How in the world could we pull this off? Well, if you have Alison, you don't have to worry. She scheduled it all, kept in constant contact with us about the results and next steps. She was on top of it all. Like I said, an angel. Alison was there for us every single step of the way. On the day we were given the keys, Alison was there with a great big hug and a very special gift, as if making our first home purchase a reality wasn't gift enough! She gave us a handpainted, framed drawing of our home. Every time I look at it, I think of all that Alison did for us and get a little choked up. It's a very emotional thing buying the home where our baby daughter will grow up. Alison Huddy gave that to us! We love her and there's no way to thank her enough. read more

Alison and Jason just helped me buy my first home! I will 100% be working with them again. From the house hunting process to closing, Alison and Jason were helpful in walking me through each step and giving constructive advice. I am so glad I had such knowledgeable and available agents who really cared about helping me through this for my first home purchase. They made a very stressful process smooth and helped ease all my fears. read more

Alison is just the best! It's so critical to find an agent that knows the area, has great relationships with other agents, is responsive and available, and really focuses on what's right for you. Alison has all of that and she's simply one of the kindest people I've ever met. I really never thought I could own a home in LA but as soon as I began talking with her it quickly became real! She provided a number of listings as she learned what I was looking for in a home and because she knows the market so well, was able to really guide me into what was a great deal and also how to approach putting in my offer. She's made the whole process effortless. Her recommendations for mortgage lenders, inspectors, etc. were all spot on, too. My sale ended up having a 21 day escrow and it wouldn't have been possible without her help. read more

Making the decision to buy a house is super scary. I'm not sure if it ever gets easier, but as a first-time buyer it certainly seems like a stressful and confusing process. Not exactly something you're excited to spend your weekends worrying about. Enter Alison Huddy. Our first meeting set the tone for how the process was gonna be with Alison. Instead of meeting at her fancy office, she suggested we meet at a local neighborhood spot, The Hermasillo on York Blvd. We had a beer, talked about our hopes and dreams, about why we wanted to buy a house, what we wanted in a house, where we wanted to look, and so on and so forth. The relaxed atmosphere and Alison's awesome personality immediately brought the terrifying 'house buying process' to a very comfortable and even exciting level. It was a genius way of connecting with us as 'people' rather than just as 'clients' and I think it gave her a much better foundation for helping us figure out exactly what we wanted and how she could make that happen with us. Not only did we love hanging out with Alison - and occasionally her equally awesome realtor husband Jason - when we were looking at houses, we also trusted her 100% professionally. She answered our thousands of questions patiently and in a language we - as first-time buyers - could understand, she connected us with trustworthy and hardworking contractors, mortgage lenders, inspectors, etc, and when we found the house we wanted, she put together an expertly crafted offer well within our budget. She then proceeded to sweet-talk the seller into accepting, even though our offer wasn't the highest bid $-wise. Without the shadow of a doubt, Alison will be handling all our future real estate transactions. She's the best. Buying a house was much easier than we thought - it was even fun! read more

Alison was a joy to deal with from the start. As first-time homebuyers we had many questions and were quite eager and anxious and Alison deftly handled all of our needs. When we came up against some static during escrow, she was there for us when we needed her with clear explanation and comforting consolation! Aside from being smart, fun, friendly & patient, Alison was on it and we feel she fought for us and got us some great relief from the sellers! Definitely meet with Alison & Jason if you're considering buying a home - especially if it's your first time. WE LOVE THE HUDDY! read more

Alison helped us find our little home 5 years ago now and we are still in touch. I write this on the anniversary of our purchase, one that we are so glad we made and so thankful for Alison's help. As first time homeowners, Alison really lead us through the process. We had had a bad experience with another realtor, and she helped us get passed and over that. More importantly, knowing our budget and what we were looking for, she introduced us to a part of town we would never have found otherwise, Eagle Rock the little town we still call home. read more

Alison was absolutely outstanding. As someone who came from a family with two realtor parents, I knew I was going to be picky. Alison was professional and friendly, always. The most surprising moment came when we were caught in a bidding war. Alison shed the sweet demeanor that she had always displayed with us, and really drove a hard bargain with the other agent. Friendly but firm, and a great negotiator. We are now in our dream house and couldn't have asked for a better experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Maybe you will be like me - clueless, overwhelmed, and unnerved, the sweat from your palms seeping through the 10 pamphlets from the 10 open houses you've been to in 3 hours. But hopefully you will find Alison, and she will guide you out of that dark tunnel. Alison Huddy is the best. She's personable, patient, smart, funny, magnetic, and completely dedicated to helping her clients find their perfect match. Going into it, I had no idea, except that I wanted to live on the East Side. Alison helped me do my homework. She's never pushy, and she answers every call. She has a thorough understanding of the East Side and the market in general, and has worked with international clients before. And she's on good terms with other realtors. Alison has great taste and is extremely discerning - she only sent me houses that she knew I would like. And she knows how to recognize true love - and that's still how I feel, true love everyday, as I gaze at my happy home. It's all Alison. If I could put a hundred stars, I would. read more

Alison and Jason are amazing! We worked primarily with Alison as our buying agent for our very first home and she was invaluable during this whole journey. With such a huge purchase that entails long-term effects, we really needed someone that (a) we could trust and (b) understood the needs & wants of our lifestyle. We totally got that with Alison (and her husband Jason too!). She immediately knew the neighborhoods and houses we wanted to a tee, and had a great sense of style for decorating or renovation options we never would've been able to picture. One of the best parts of working with Alison and Jason is their commitment to their clients. As nervous first time buyers we called A LOT. Whether we had a question about houses we saw come up Redfin, offer prices, inspections, lenders, even home insurance providers- she was always patient, thorough, and incredibly helpful. They made time to go see houses or attend inspections on their days off. They even took our calls about mortgage rates while attending a wedding! Whenever we had doubts or concerns we knew we could contact Alison and we'd get straight answers and some peace of mind. She was also helpful in the escrow process- getting us the best credit possible and helping us extend our escrow at the last minute. Alison and Jason are great to have on your team- I wholeheartedly recommend them! read more

I happened to meet Alison at a neighborhood open house when I was casually looking at houses on the market. We clicked right away; she is so warm, funny, and easy to talk to, so I called her when I got serious. I went through this process by myself feeling totally clueless about the market, the process, how to negotiate, and was lucky to have her hold my hand every step of the way. I was very much a house buying novice in a heightened state of overwhelmed panic, but Alison answered my numerous questions about everything I could not wrap my brain around! I work long hours, but she would make herself available late at night for a debriefing after I had submitted an offer on a place. Even during a very long escrow, and crazy things happening like losing funding, having to find a new lender, verifying permits, etc., she was always there to patiently walk me through the process. Fast forward to after we finally closed on the place I loved and wanted - I still had tons of questions on who to call to fix XYZ!! Again, I'm not quite sure what I would have done those early days of home ownership; she provided the guidance I needed. I can't say enough amazing things about the home buying process with the Huddys! read more

Alison and Jason were referred to us from friends who had just gone through the process of buying their first home and from our very first meeting, we had complete trust in them - we were grateful to have them guide us through every step of the process. I'm a super anxious person and can be pretty high-strung - so naturally, the home buying process drives me pretty crazy but Alison and Jason were fantastic at rationalizing with me, a crazy person, and managed my expectations throughout the process. We had just lost a bid on a condo when Alison called and said "I have a good feeling about this one, it just listed" and because tons of scheduling conflicts prevented my husband and me from finding a time to make it out together, she set up an appt for each of us. She was right... we found our home. ...Then of course the anxiety went through the roof through the bidding war, the escrow, etc. and she and Jason were patient enough to do things like explain exactly what an "escrow" is a couple times over and savvy enough to recommend the right strategy to win the house, get through escrow, and get us into the house. Open communication, deep knowledge of the market, strategic, and effective negotiation are all reasons why they're so good at what they do. Patience and guidance are why they are so good with first time home buyers like us. (Well, we're pros now, thanks to A+J Huddy!) read more

Alison and Jason helped me close on my first home a week or so ago. I am a first time homeowner and I was surprised at how smooth the process was compared to other stories I had heard and most of that is down to Alison and Jason's help. They walked me through every step of the process, from talking about what I was looking for in a house and initial bids that went very quickly all the way through setting up inspections and going back and forth with the seller to reach the best possible deal for me. I also had a ton of questions come up during every step and they were always helpful and patient. In the end, their vast experience with the LA house market got me my first house on a tight schedule and for a great deal! If you are looking for a house in LA, I cannot recommend the Huddys more highly! read more

The Huddy's are amazing. They're a power house real estate team that you want in your corner. Their knowledge, insight and experience prove to be just what you need to buy and sell in this crazy LA market. We recently sold our condo and bought a home with them in the NorthEast LA area. While we had the usual stress of this process, they were quick to offer advice, call us down and handle the business. We cannot say enough about how awesome these guys are and how thankful we are to have had them represent us on the transactions. Buying and selling is tough when inventory is low. Do yourselves a favor and hire them so you have one less thing to worry about. read more

Alison and Jason and real state wizards!! They are a great duo and are experts in the East Side LA housing market. We were first time home buyers, and were overwhelmed by the LA market. Every house in our price range was also being looked at by hundreds of other people. Alison and Jason helped answered our emails and calls day and night, helped us find a house in the neighborhood we wanted to be in, and negotiated a deal where we were able to buy a house below asking price. We also closed in less than 30 days. If/when we sell/buy another home we will be calling the Huddys. read more

I highly recommend Alison and Jason Huddy! They made the process of looking for, and purchasing our first home lovely. Alison patiently explained the whole process multiple times and went to bat for us whenever we needed it, whether it was in negotiations, scheduling a quick escrow, or simply getting our offer prioritized in the highly competitive LA market. I could go on, but instead I will just say again that I highly recommend the Huddys. They are just great at what they do. read more

Alison is amaaaaaazing! Seriously - an absolute joy to work with. She's got a killer combination of qualities: she's extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also personable, fun, and easy to get along with. I like that she gave regular feedback - not just your personal opinion but also reactions based on how you saw my reactions to a home. That was invaluable to me. She's also excellent at managing time, and worked hard to keep things on track - very important considering we had a wacko deadline! read more

As a Loan Officer, I work with a lot of realtors. I have to say that Alison Huddy is one of the best. She's ethical, passionate about her clients, honest, hard-working and never does her clients wrong. She's savvy with her negotiations but has great relationships with other realtors in the area which helps in getting her clients' offers accepted in today's crazy market. I love working with Alison and her clients. Nice people are attracted to each other and I've never had a client that I did not like of Alison's. read more

Alison is brilliant. Just amazing. My husband and I initially met with a different realtor in Silver Lake when we decided to buy a house - he was recommended and nice, but sent us the same automated listings we were seeing ourselves on Redfin. We are new home owners and had questions; we needed someone to guide us. After we asked some friends and received stellar recommendations about Alison, we set up a meeting and the difference was IMMEDIATELY clear. Alison is amazing. She really took the time to understand who we are and what we were looking for - a truly personal experience - but what makes Alison special goes way beyond that. More important, for me, was that she gave us a realistic perspective of how we could reach our goals in the insane Los Angeles housing market. Alison is not only adorable and super easy to work with, but she is smart and a shrewd problem solver. Someone who can comfort you when you're freaking out, but is on it when things need to get done. She's practical and smart and a joy to work with. There are so many things I could rave to you about. The way she used her sweet and unassuming demeanor with the listing agents to get crucial information for us. Her vast knowledge of the market and the areas that she represents - down to every street. The way she fought for us and guided us to make the right decisions, both financially and emotionally. Her tough negotiating skills. She's a true professional and a star. I can't imagine going through this process with anyone else! read more

Alison was super patient with me and really stayed positive over out long search. We were first time home buyers and admittedly not the easiest of clients and we really appreciated her sticking it out with us and never letting our negativity effect her. We looked in many price points and several neighborhoods that were not easy but she was always helpful with great insight. Would recommend her in a heartbeat and plan to use her when we sell and buy again. read more

We met Alison about a year and a half into our search for our first house. My wife and I had been scouring Redfin and mostly going it alone until some friends who recently bought raved about her. We gave her a call and met at a Starbucks in the neighborhood we were searching in and described, in somewhat vague "we kinda know what we think we want" terms, the sort of thing we were looking for. Alison understood and immediately sent us some listings that were all pretty much exactly what we had talked about but also had charm and character beyond the "must haves" we had mentioned. Over the months that followed, I would say that the houses Alison showed us were MUCH closer to what we wanted every time than anything we dug up on our own that looked promising. Also, on an number of open houses we went to we were prepped with agent, background, neighborhood, information we couldn't have gotten on Redfin. Many listings we went to the agent either knew who she was or had heard of her, which made us feel confident in her network. We definitely felt we had an inside track. We were looking in the Highland Park / Eagle Rock area. It was a tough market in our price range (550-650k) and we made several offers, each one was within the ballpark and we had several counters due to the strong terms Alison recommended. She worked very closely with our loan officer at Wells Fargo to ensure all the contingencies we put forth could be honored by the bank. We used a different guy than she had recommended because we had specific loan needs and he was known for being good in our particular situation. He was impressed and kept telling us we had a great agent and she was very easy to work with. Alison handled all our inspections as we have a very tight work schedule, and gave us full reports on all of it. Telling us what needed further investigation and what didn't. Ultimately she was able to use that information to get us a whopping seller credit, enough to re-plumb the entire place! We were kept informed with regular updates on everything just about every other day. Alison and her husband, Jason were a pleasure to work with and we've already given her info out to several people just starting their search. A great experience all around! read more

Alison helped my boyfriend and I (and our pup-sons Glenn and Murray) purchase our first home. As first time homebuyers, we were literally clueless as to what the process entailed, and we simply couldn't have done it without her. She is knowledgable, passionate, patient, positive, and most importantly honest. As newbies to home buying we had lots of questions, and of course were a bit trigger shy when it came to taking the big plunge. Alison walked us through the process, gave us her honest pros and cons on each place we looked at, and ultimately got us into the perfect house for us. We've lived in our new place since September and we couldn't be happier. We're so grateful to have found Alison. read more

Can't recommend Alison and Jason enough. We were first time home buyers and weren't sure if we'd be able to get into the market but they coached us through the process every step of the way. They were always available to take us to new properties and were patient with us as we figured out what we wanted in a home. They never tried to push us once but they were assertive when needed as we negotiated and entered into escrow. While we saw many of our friends and acquaintances enter into bidding wars, paying well above the listing, Alison and Jason were able to get us into our home miraculously for less than the asking price. We love our home and we feel lucky to have worked with Alison and Jason and, now, count them as friends. read more

Alison and Jason are truly a one-of-a-kind-powerhouse-duo. I couldn't be more impressed. We have bought and sold several properties and have never had an experience like this. Alison listened to and considered everything we were looking for in a home. She provided well-informed guidance on school districts, safety, walkability... everything we wish had known in previous purchases. She KNOWS her stuff! (And when we considered buying in another market, she offered recommendations for agents in that area because she truly wanted us to find the best home in the best neighborhood. She wasn't going to sell us any old house to make a buck!) When we first met Alison & Jason, my husband and I were considering selling but hadn't made up our minds. We spent several months going back and forth and never felt any pressure. We decided to list our home and were immediately impressed with their professionalism & attention. With their guidance, we de-cluttered and had the most amazing professional listing photos taken. The house was on the market, and in no time we had a buyer for our home. As an agent, Alison blew me away with her professional & strategic negotiating, her courteous and direct conversations with the buyers agent, and her round-the-clock responsiveness. She did a fantastic job communicating through every step of escrow, going above and beyond to bring in second opinions, recommend and schedule inspections, and provide reviews on mortgage lenders and even moving companies. She knows her market, her numbers, and has communication skills to envy. With Jason by her side & behind the scenes, we couldn't ask for more! I never thought the buying and selling process could be so easy. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! read more

She did all the responsible things like warning me it could go to massive bids (it did) and i should be prepared not to spend too much for what it was worth. We'd been working with another realtor for a few months and had a feeling that we weren't making progress. We decided to cut our losses and found these guys on Yelp. This was the best decision we made in the whole process. Alison's the front woman of this business and she is just brilliant. Watching her in action at a showing is an education - take notes! Alison and Jason made it possible for us to achieve our dream of owning a home. If not for the Huddys, we would not own a home, there's no question in my mind. Referred to us by a dear friend, working with Alison and Jason was the best decision we've made in a long time. Like many young couples, we've saved for years to buy a home, and were nervous to be "active" on the market. Alison and Jason were patient, made sure we saw the range of the real estate landscape available to us, and then pushed us when we needed it. They answered every question, made us feel totally secure, and ultimately helped us buy an amazing home in Eagle Rock. Alison and Jason are great for first-time-home-buyers and seasoned real estate pros alike. THE BEST It's no secret that the LA housing market is insanely competitive. But me, being a bit naive, thought we could navigate these waters by ourselves. So we tried, the first open house we pulled up to had about 60 people already inside, the realtor informed me there was an all cash offer, well over asking, already on the table - we were in no position to compete. This was the moment we realized we had no idea what we were doing, and needed help. Enter The Huddys. From the moment we met until the moment Jason handed us the keys on our new front porch, they were there calmly guiding us the entire time. From being outbid on a house we desperately wanted, to having our offer accepted on a house we loved even more, through counter offers, closing, inspections. Jason and Alison were there. They truly have a unique understanding of the local market and are willing to use that to the advantage of their clients. I'll never even look at another house without consulting the Huddys first. read more
