Great staff that are always friendly and professional. My friends who brought me are big fans of escape rooms, and they assured me, this is one of the best escape rooms around. I look forward to come back and experiencing more rooms!! This place is a ton of fun!!

Sadly, this is not my favorite escape room place. I've done two of their rooms, both in the yellow…read morebuilding (which is confusing in itself) and the first (art museum) was solidly "fine." Some clever puzzles, decent concept, mostly good experience. The Chernobyl room, however, was kind of terrible. I do a good number of escape rooms, and it wasn't that it was too hard, but more poorly conceived. It was a mix of super niche or hard to find clues combined overly easy ones, starting with an uncomfortable and somewhat pointless lock. It was also very linear, so a large group would likely have people standing around because there's not much going on at once. The most frustrating thing was the ending has a very finicky piece of equipment that we couldn't master. We ended up giving up because, while we felt we solved it, we couldn't get it to work and just wanted to be done at that point. Plus, our experiences outside of the room were super awkward, not offers for ceremonial photos. Will not be trying another room.

It was a bit hot in the room and it didn't have a countdown clock until the final room, but the set dressings and use of the architecture made up for that! It was also fairly cheap(25$ a person) which was great!

The staff are welcoming and did a good job explaining all the rules etc well before we started, and the rooms have some really impressive locking mechanisms set up (I think the staff said one of the owners is a mechanical engineer). Some of the puzzles are very tricky, but the staff make sure their hints are helpful when you call on them. I did both the Butcher Shop room and the Mirage room - both are rooms you do in the dark with flashlights, something to consider depending on any vision concerns. You'll likely be standing the whole time, so wear comfy shoes. You'll be there about 1.5 hour total - 15 minutes before for rules, 1 hour for the room, and 15 minutes after for some pictures with props. Probably not good for young children (under 10?), and buying in advance is a good idea. Overall, I've had a great time here, and I definitely plan to go back! 5 stars!

For some reason, I thought it would be kind of horror based, but just excited to see that it's more clues and sleuthing than thriller. The employees were very nice too! It's rated for 8 people I believe but it is a tight quartered room. There is probably 8 people's worth of work in that space, just probably not the adequate space for the people themselves. Escape On Purpose is tucked towards the back of a shopping center but it's definitely a hidden gem. You're given an hour to "escape" a room by using clues that are found within the room. A couple of coworkers and I scheduled a room for 8:30. Since I have a tendency of going to bed early, I was concerned about getting sleepy. I was wrong. During the entire duration, I was wide awake trying to "escape" the room. We chose Terror in the Sky, which was not easy. Looking at the fixtures, you can tell that the owners spent a lot of work on the room. I will definitely try to come back again!

Our game host, Attic, was kind and enthusiastic, which helped make the experience enjoyable. The facility itself was clean and well kept, and the waiting room had a lot of fun games to play before starting. The only thing to keep in mind is the booking/payment system for smaller groups. I came with one other person, but the online reservation system requires payment for a minimum of three people. Since there were only two of us, we still had to pay for a third person upfront, and the difference was given back as a coupon code for a future visit rather than as an actual refund. While I appreciate that they offer a credit, it did feel a little confusing and less straightforward than simply charging a higher two-person rate or clearly listing the minimum charge upfront. Overall, we had a good experience, but I do think the pricing/booking system could be made more transparent.

My wife and I recently visited Times Up! and we had a really good time…read more Most of the rooms at Times Up! required 4 or more participants, and since it was just the two of us, our only choice was the Room 555 escape room. Overall, I thought the room was a lot of fun. The moderator was nice, and the room had some good puzzles. My only complaints would be: 1) The text-to-speech computer program used to present the story and clues was a little awkward and clunky, and it definitely made it harder to immerse myself in the scenario. It'd be significantly better if a real person was reading the dialogue. Also, it felt like the background story could have been more interesting, although the clues were fun to figure out. 2) One of the clues was meant to be locked and they left it unlocked, so the moderator had to come in during the scenario and re-lock it for us. Not a big deal, but it did disrupt the event a bit. Overall, I liked Times Up! and would definitely come back.
