My wife and I took our son to his first escape room today. So glad it was this one! Creative, great atmosphere, good puzzles, and plenty of fun RFID surprises and other tech. Avoid All In Escapes (Triangle Town Center) like the plague and play here instead! This is what escape rooms are supposed to be! read more

This play is a perfect place to go if you want to have fun and get a great bond with family.

The wife and I did prison break. There were some mixed reviews on this room but I think the wife and I found the room to very enjoyable. It's rated for 8 people I believe but it is a tight quartered room. There is probably 8 people's worth of work in that space, just probably not the adequate space for the people themselves. That being said, it made for a very challenging 2 person room. We supposedly were only the 2nd 2-person team ever to complete this room. read more

Amazing family experience on a rainy day. Vince was wonderful and really got our kids excited for the challenge. the clues were clever and unique and there were some exciting twists. Also loved the room was private for our booking. Highly recommend! read more

Had the best time today! There were only three of us and we did the Mysterious Room. Very challenging, very clever and very fun! The employee that checked us in and helped us (we needed help!), was funny, nice and very welcoming. Will be back! Thanks for a great time! read more

Amaze Room Escapes was a bit tough to find, make sure you look for the suite number since there is no sign outside. Our group did The Mysterious Room - you were framed for theft, now that you have been released from jail it is time to get your revenge and steal the priceless jewelry back 5/5 difficulty level (The other room is Prison Break, 4/5 difficulty level) We really enjoyed our experience. I also liked that they listened to our feedback on the room. Now that I know what to expect, I can't wait to try another room. read more

I love escape rooms and I have tried a few in the area, but this one is definitely unique in that it is a little more logic and code breaking based at least in the room we did than other escape rooms I have done. Definitely a group effort is needed considering the room we did (we escaped with only 3 minutes to spare) had only a 20% escape rate! But you should be up for a challenge if you are signing up to be locked in a room with potentially a random group of strangers for 60 minutes. The staff are really nice and helpful and friendly here, the room could have been a little cooler since you are working your brain hard in there and not being hot could have maybe helped us get out of the room faster too! They have a new room coming out this summer, so I am hoping to come back out to this location at some point since they had some pretty unique room features here that I don't want to give away, but definitely had not seen them elsewhere! read more

The employee was clearly high af and said that we would have less time if our last member was late (legit policy) but then disappeared right before our start time. (She made it with 5 minutes to spare, but he was who knows where) The room was covered in these red dots that were supposed to indicate things that weren't clues, which is just lazy room building. When we asked for a clue he swaggered into the room and solved the puzzle for us rather than giving us clues to solve it ourselves. I only give this two stars because the second half of the room was pretty cool but the rest of it was janky. I'm pretty sure he was running two rooms at once, or maybe he was just that high but this place certainly wasn't worth the price. For an actually good escape room go to Conundrum Escapes (Garner) and Bull City Escapes (Durham) read more

I've never been to an Escape Room and didn't know they existed. I had a great time! It wasn't just the escape room that made it a good visit. This location is local owned and operated. The local operators were friendly and all about making sure everyone had a rememberable time. I'll be coming back to do the other three escape rooms. read more

We loved it for the family. We didn't break out of the prison on time, but it was fun trying. It was about $25 per person and we were the last group for the night. The clues were tricky, so make sure you pay attention to everything around you and read the clues carefully. Thinking about going back to try another room. Overall good time was had by all. read more

I've done 5 different escape rooms, 2 in Canada and 3 in NC and Amaze Room Escapes was the best escape room I've done so far in NC. The staff was incredibly helpful and had a good sense of humor. We had a group of 6 and did the mystery room. We're definitely coming back to try prison break! read more

Was down in NC for my brother college graduation so we came here with my family of 5 to try something fun and different, and we had an AMAZING time. We did the Mysterious Room which was soo hard (it is a little harder than the Prison Break) and we loved it!! It was very challenging but soo awesome. The theme was trying to steal back a necklace from the professor. What I loved was that the challenges and clues all required a lot more than just solving a riddle or finding a clue. It required a lot of strategy and thought. I've done a room escape in NYC (where I live) and this was just as good. My recommendation if it is your first time doing an escape room would be to try the Prison Break which is just a bit easier, but still very challenging. This is a great activity whether you are with family, on a date, with friends, or just looking for something really fun and different to do! read more

My first experience doing an escape room! We did the mysterious room and we were SO close to escaping. Such a fun experience overall. Once we arrived, we signed the waiver and were given instructions for the room. We were then blindfolded and led into the room. It's much harder than I though it would be but SO thrilling. The price is worth the hour in there. Get your group together and go!! read more

Amaze Room Escapes - So much fun doing the Mysterious Room!! Get your team together and go!! - Escape Games Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

Looks small but rooms a great really impressed. Owner clearly enjoys the job. Highly recommend.

Experience: Fiancee and I have done 30+ escape rooms all over the world and this is our third in the Triangle area. We did the black and white room. Booked with just two people and no one else booked with us. The size was perfect for two people - Having 4 people in here would have sucked and really brought the entire experience down (it's a relatively small room). Well-decorated, with several different contraptions I haven't seen before. Few lock/key puzzles which is a huge bonus to me. It was a very linear room (they're upfront about this). We managed to escape with 5 minutes to spare, but I can imagine people who are somewhat new to escape rooms would have trouble on a few of these puzzles. In summary, it's not the best room I've ever done, but it's hard to find two person rooms and this is definitely one of the better ones. read more

I didn't think I had a bad experience here.... until I tried another escape room company. I was in a small group of my peers (1st time and great). It was just 4 of us and we could knock out each clue like it was second nature. I just did another one in Atlanta. It was still challenging, and we didn't finish. They made us feel like rock stars anyways! I was with my 11 yr old niece and my, VERY, ADHD sister. We wanted to win but it was really challenging. We were glad we got close. Win or lose (preferably win) we had a great time!!! I loved the concept! I was going to book 8-10 parties of 8 as a team building exercise once a month. Trying something like this takes research. I have 2 team members that are physically challenged. This company has yet to put up any physical restraints for each room (even though they said they would give better details in one of their responses). I hope your company is thriving to the point where varied clients and honesty aren't required for your business to be profitable. How about a little disclosure about the physical restraints of each room? How about having a family friendly room for people that want to use this as an exercise in communication with your children? If you keep that "tough, it's not for people like you" mentally... you will fail. read more

I always love room escapes and have done many times in different places. I have to admit, this is the best room escape experience I ever had! !!! We four friends decided to do this one because it's excellent environment and decorations. The stuff there were super friendly, and introduced the two options available there. We did the harder one because we wanted some challenge. We were given one hour to escape after the stuff made detailed introductions about background story and safety instructions. Inside the escape room, it is well decorated, with a lot of fine furnitures, light and music. The puzzles were so well designed that I think they were better than any other ones I had before in other places. It took us over 50 minutes to get out of the room, with the help of one clue from the stuff. The difficulty level satisfied us all. I would love to group a few friends again to try their the other room escape. I believe it will be as good as the one we tried. Looking forward to go back to play again! read more

My three friends and I went to amaze room escapes after we saw the good reviews for this place. After the play, I knew that it deserves its good reputation. When got thete, the stuff introduced the two options there: Prison break and Mysterious room. I found the story of mysterious room very interesting so that we did this one. The stuff gave us safety instructions and an intercom telephone so that we can ask for help if needed. We had an hour to escape the room. I won't spoil the content inside the room, but why I can tell is that the room is amazing, full of super good puzzles, appropriate clues and challenging tricks! We enjoyed the whole process very much and did escape in time. What I remember vividly was that we were stuck on the first puzzle for like 10 minutes. The stuff asked if we need any hints after seeing our situation from the video camera. I thought this design was very thoughtful and warm, and it definitely helped keep customers safe inside the room. After we got out, all of us were so excited and happy as if we were really just escaped from a extremely dangerous place. The experience was intense and great! The stuff told me they would update new theme each 6 months, and I just can't wait to play more escapes there! read more

We had a great time at Amaze Room Escapes!!! We were in need of a fun activity to do for our company holiday party. We had a large group to try and get in all together and Sally made the reservation process super easy. Once we arrived, Vince, our guide, was super friendly, funny and helpful! Everyone in our group had a great time and they are often hard to please. They are already talking about doing it again! read more

My group and I escaped the Prison Break room (have done 30+ rooms) Pro: - Good puzzles, there is a good mix in there. - Room is decently sized - Would come back again and try the other room - Very friendly and helpful staff Cons: -Felt the space was a little empty (not enough props) -It was a good size for smaller groups, but if you have more than 5 people, you might run out of puzzles to do. We did it with 2. Overall, a pleasant experience. Required a good amount of thinking, and definitely entertaining enough for me to try out the other room! Overall: 7/10 (good enough to come back) read more

This is a great new escape room in north Raleigh! We managed to escape, but it was pretty challenging. This is the sixth room that our family has done - we were very pleased at the creativity of the puzzles. They were unlike other rooms we've done so we had fun figuring them out. Definitely check this place out. We'll be back! This was also the only place that welcomes kids under 12 without special permission- really good for us and our ten year old! read more

Very interesting and challenging. Spent about an hour to escape. The maze is not quite easy and needs some time to figure it out.

We went to visit with a friend in town as something different to do. My wife and I have done 1 escape room before, but aren't regulars to this. Prison break room was very challenging (we did get out using both our hints), but entertaining. Only experienced one problem with the radio not functioning, but they fixed it quick. It did take us out of the experience, but didn't ruin it for us. Would love to see more live actors, or more acting from the host when providing hints. The other escape room was a bit more emmersive with the live actors, but this was a good room all and all. read more

Had a blast! It was our first time and the staff were incredibly friendly and made the experience very memorable. It's got me addicted!

This was a great experience for the family. This was the first time I have done an escape room, and I must say it was well worth it. Check groupon for deals... looking forward to the next time! read more

We had family visiting us for the weekend who had done escape rooms in the past, and suggested we do one with them. We chose the Mysterious Room at Amaze Room Escapes. The entire experience was so well thought out, from the interesting setup of the rooms, to the varying styles of puzzles throughout. It was challenging without being impossible to solve. Our group got out with about 10 minutes to spare, and had so much fun doing it. We will definitely be back. read more

Our group of 6 did The Mysterious Room. It was challenging but we managed to escape with only a few minutes to spare. The staff was very helpful as we needed a hint to get unstuck at a certain point. It was really fun and we're already talking about going back to do the Prison Break room. We highly recommend this place!! read more

This was our first experience with an escape room and it was very fun. Being from out of town, I was looking for something to do with kids/young adult and this nailed it. We had a group of four (1 adult and ages 14, 10, 9) and needed 1 hint towards the end of the mysterious room to make it out. The clues make you think but they are basic enough where the kids don't lose interest as they we able to figure some of them out as well. I see the other reviews show a good time with friends but also works as a family friendly outing also. read more
