Our 15 yr old granddaughter suggested we 'indulge' in an Escape Works Room. We had a GREAT time. Sky was informative when we phoned in (recently had an ear surgery and loud noises cause me to lose hearing for a few days) and had suggestions. When we arrived both she and Gabby were excellent in their customer service. The Casino Room was designed exceptionally well, very creative. My husband and I are architect/designer and were impressed with the details. (Being on the more 'mature' but youthful side, we seem to be shocked by prices across the board. EscapeWorks is no different. It would be nice to be a little less pricey.) read more

Great room , we did the speak easy and Ays our game master was very good about giving us the right amount of clues to help us . We had only two people and we escaped with just 3 minutes left . Definitely a fun way to hang out with friends and family! You select the room based on the experience level of the participants. We had adults, young adults and teenagers. We did the Egyptian Tomb. When we were stumped, Jake was super helpful to give us hints to keep the adventure going. You can't ask for help, but they keep an eye on you and give hints to nudge you in a certain direction. I loved Escapeworks Denver because: 1.) Website was easy to book a room at certain time slots. 2.) We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. 3.) Instructions were explained and the opportunity to ask questions was given. 4.) The rooms and puzzles within the rooms were very well thought through. They made you use logic to get to the next step. 5.) Decor is on point for the rooms to make it feel more real. In conclusion, you HAVE to try this out. I've done probably 15+ escape rooms between 8 different companies all in all, and they're so fun! This is the first escape room I've done where the company actually make their own games. Unfortunately, the other person and I felt that the clues (once we were informed what we were supposed to do with them) just didn't make a lot of sense. I won't spoil any of the games by going into detail. However I would prefer to do one of the escape rooms that has already established games read more

We had an AMAZING time and our game master Abby was THE BEST!! We did the Blackbeard's Brig (the easiest one as we were told) and escaped with 16minutes left not to shabby for our second ever escape room. We went here for our daughter's 25th birthday with a party of 6 and booked the room to ourselves. The youngest in our group was our 7 year old son and he LOVED solving and hunting for the clues. Everyone was so excited every time we solved a clue and showed that pesky parrot that we weren't land lubbers!!! We bought our daughter a special board game as well and Abby hid it in the escape room for us to find as well adding a personal touch to her special day! 10/10 will definitely go back and try the harder ones. read more

We LOVE Escape Works! My fiance and I have had Iris a few times now, and we ADORE her1 She has amazing energy, and she makes the room super fun. We've done most of the rooms and my only feedback would be to PLEASE rotate the rooms more often! I think these rooms have been standard for like a year, and we are fairly career Escapists. I'd also recommend maybe a monthly membership or a punch card or something. My fiance and I like to do these because A) they're fun and B) it actually helps us with our communication quite a bit! We just wish the cost wasn't so high, and that the rooms would rotate out more because I know Escapists like us would absolutely come more often. Overall though, Iris is a QUEEN and we can't wait to do a room with her again soon! read more

The greeter at the top of the stairs was more then friendly and hospitable. The staff alone makes this escape room fun and entertaining. Not to mention, this was the 1st time in on an escape room for myself and my daughter. The hints were on point to help keep an 8 year old busy and confident in the ability to solve the various puzzles. The various levels of puzzles in the pirate room made you really think critically and also confident in solving the next puzzle. Keep up the great work! read more

Was not my favorite. The puzzles made almost no sense. You had to have clues to make it anywhere in the game. (For every puzzle we needed a clue) our game master changed 3 times so we got multiple of the same clues. So much time was wasted watching their videos and audio recordings. Ive done 10+ escape rooms and I have got to say this was my least favorite. I was stressed and annoyed the whole time. (Edit) they did reach out to me and made it right. read more

(During COVID review) We had an absolutely amazing time. Our gamemaster was Kyle and we pretty much adopted him into our family. He was super friendly and witty. We did the Outbreak room with nine of us. My parents, my siblings, and my two nine year olds. The room was properly sanitized and put together very well. It has a 25% escape rate but we managed to do it with 21:54 to spare with a very low amount of clues (according to Kyle). THIS IS A FUN ROOM! I have been here two other times (Egyptian room and Casino room). This has been my favorite experience but I absolutely give EscapeWorks five stars for all of my experiences here. #teamfamdemic read more

The set design was really cool. Staff were friendly. Puzzles were unique and fun. However, it didnt feel like staff were watching out game at all. Hints were not relevant, and were once counter to where we were in the game. Theres a couple puzzles that we solved but due to finnicky sensors werent unlocking, and wasted 20 mins on this. If staff had been watching itd have been so easy to set us on course but we kept getting general hints about the puzzle that we were clearly doing already. We also spent ages getting hints for a puzzle we werent at yet.... We both left feeling cheated and frustrated with the game read more
