Had a surprise visit with our family for fathers day. 9 of us in total ranging from age 11 to 68 with the family. Everyone had a great time, everyone pitched in. This was our very 1st escape room, us & our 4 grandkids, ages 14-8 so 6 people total. Perfect size we beat Bill & Teds excellent adventure in 52:52, the group ahead of us did lost tomb & didnt finish! So we show up & realized our reservation was for the wrong week, they were so accommodating and got us in an alternate room,it was BIG FUN! read more

We saw the T2 sign while at yard house one night and knew that if we were going to try an escape room, this would be it. We celebrated our 8th anniversary with a couple of friends and ALMOST saved humanity- not bad considering we had no idea what to expect! We did two rooms and they were both very fun! I have to say The Lost Tomb is my favorite escape room I have ever done. The staff were so great and willing to help us with whatever we needed, they knew when to give us clues and when to let us figure it out for ourselves. My wife and I were in the Phoenix area and so, as enthusiasts, we decided to look for an escape room or two to do. After checking out plenty of reviews and descriptions on different websites and groups, we decide to try this place out. The room we did was The Lost Tomb, which is an archaeologist theme room. The room we had to ourselves, which was a blessing because even though there is a 10 person max on this room, there is no way possible to keep 10 people busy. My wife and I enjoyed the room greatly as it had some fun puzzles to solve, some of which required GM help... the decor was very fitting to theme and the Hollywood effects they claim could have been more "effect"ive, though still quite enjoyable. We are tempted to try one of their movie themed rooms but are unsure if they are better than The Lost Tomb as we I haven't seen positive or negative reviews on the other two. We will be doing another while we are in the area just not sure where/what room will be next. read more

We escaped the Terminator room (hardest room they have) ! Very fun! Worked with a family that was in the room with us and we worked very well together since theres multiple puzzles you can all do at once! I think our time would have been a little better if one of the clues didnt rub off (maybe engrave it next time or use stickers) but overall had a great time! read more

Our family really enjoyed the escape room experience. It was our first time doing a room and we found ourselves highly entertained and challenged at the same time. No, we didn't finish in time, but were only about 20 seconds from completing the puzzle. The staff really made the experience fun. We highly recommend Escape Westgate. read more

Escape Westgate has unquestionably the best Escape Room experiences in the larger Arizona area. While this review will specifically be for their T2 Terminator room, I have done their other two rooms and both were amazingly well done in terms of crafting not just a room but an experience where you felt like you were really there. I highly recommend any of their rooms for an outing, a date night, or just because you want to do something fun and memorable. Their T2 room is the second official IP room of theirs that I've done, with the first being the Bill & Ted room, and this was much more a non-linear room then their other rooms. Unlike other non-linear rooms however I never felt truly stuck or as a loss for how to proceed, I always new I was on a right path and if I was stuck I could work on one of the other puzzles. It is definitely a room designed for groups with enough concurrent puzzles to allow everyone to have a role and a task a to do. In terms of theme they really went all out to build a true "Skynet" factory. You really get the sense that is where you are, with actual functional "terminators". The room audibly plays to the theme as well, with audio from Skynet itself occasionally playing in. I cannot stress enough that if you have any interest in the least in the Terminator franchise you need to experience this room experience. You'll get to feel like heroes and solve puzzles that all make sense in the world you're in. If you're sensitive to loud noises or flashing lights you'll need to be aware this experience features both so prepare accordingly. I look forward to seeing what comes next from this location because this was another knock it out of the park slam dunk experience you will not forget nor regret, easily worth more than the price. read more
