There's plenty of paved walkways that I push my younger grandson on around while my older grandson's playing on the playground equipment. This Recreation Center also has volleyball courts, fields for soccer and t-ball. There's also a Aquatic Center adjacent to the actual park. People also play Pickleball and Tennis here. The park is always immaculate. I've never seen one piece of trash and I've been there numerous times. There are multiple restrooms that are available and they are always clean. I've enjoyed this park so much and all of the kids that I've ever observed here are having the best time.

I have to give a special shoutout to Obie. She is honestly the reason I keep my membership active. Her classes truly challenge you, but in the best way. They push you, encourage you, and somehow make you appreciate yourself and all the hard work you've put in. Obie is genuinely such a huge motivation. Her well-being, her demeanor, the way she carries herself, and the way she teaches really inspire you to be better. She's a true inspiration. After my very first class with her, I walked straight to the front desk and signed up for a membership. Every class feels like you're transforming your life for the better. She reminds you that your best is truly enough, no matter what, and that mindset has stayed with me beyond the gym. And the community that comes with it is just as special. I'm naturally a little shy, but the ladies here have truly helped me come out of my shell. Now I find myself wishing everyone a good morning when I walk in, even if I don't know them. They're always the first to offer advice or helpful tips when you're trying a new class, and they're just so kind and encouraging. I'm so grateful I found this place. I absolutely love it.

There's also a smaller pool area if you're looking for a quieter place to relax. One of the things I really like is how many options there are throughout the property to stop and grab a bite to eat or pick up something sweet. Surfing, boogie boarding, playing in the water, cliff jumping, and even volleyball. So much fun! The sand and beach chair area is a nice touch to give it that true beach feel. Being a Friday night, it was very busy and tons of teenagers there. The cliff jumping was packed but still very fun! Plenty of space for older and younger kids to all participate together. Lifeguards are always present. At the end of the night they stop surfing and let everyone go the whole way into the wave pool which is a blast! Probably the most fun part. Only giving it a 4 star for a few reasons. Line/wait was very long even with pre-purchased tickets. Everything is very pricey! Lifeguards need microphones or something - yelling basically was pointless. Felt crammed in the seating area and beach part. No outside beverages, water, or food is extreme for families. My main issue was with the flooring of the entire park. I'd like to see them do something to make the sidewalk more comfortable for the 99% of people who are walking around barefoot. All of our feet hurt from walking around on the really hard concrete. I guess I'd recommend you wear water shoes if you have them. We used a Get Out Pass and the whole process was seamless. It's worth getting because just a trip to Sunsplash is pretty much the same price as a Get Out Pass and you get so much out of it. I don't know if I'd go again because the cost is pretty high.

It was worth the add on for convenience alone. My only issue with this place is it is literally a "children's casino." Bright distractions everywhere, LOTS of upsell opportunities (bowling, arcade, build a bear, light up toys, etc.). I get upselling, but this was so painfully "in your face" that we all found it annoying. The check in line also was awful, and the DIY kiosk wasn't working for anyone when we were there.

The high school provided the one across the way, but we moved over as the Superstition Shadows Park had benches and more amenities than the slab of concert the high school one had. These are great with many tables, shade, and even grills! Likely consider these again for our high school reunions as perfectly near Davis Field for homecoming! I can get them in the same class at the same time as long as they are swimming at the same level. Our girls have been in the water their entire lives as we have a pool. Even so last year they didn't like being splashed or getting their faces wet. This year they are getting their faces wet and they have our little one swimming down to the bottom of the pool to pick up rings. The both are able to float on their backs for 30 seconds. They do a fabulous job here. This year their teachers are Mr. Kyle and Miss. Ella. and Miss. Liz. They had Miss. Ella last year and adore her. Mr. Kyle and Miss. Liz do a great job as well. They missed Mr. Cooper this year. Our girls are late bloomers as swimmers, but even if they swam like fish they would never be alone by a pool or unsupervised. Not being pros at their age does not concern me. They are amazing and doing great. Everyone has their special gifts. They are getting better every week. The recreation center will notify you if lessons are canceled due to weather. They don't do lessons if lightening is within 10 miles. They will call, email and post on their Facebook page if they need to cancel. The gal who runs the office is a sweetie. We definately will be back next year. I wear a lot of hats and I think it is a treat for them to have others to guide and teach them.
