As I entered into the big box building, I was so impressed by how beautiful and clean it was kept. There was an event going on for kids, which I'll have to come back and check out, but I was there for a dance practice. The facility is so pristine and everyone was so welcoming and helpful getting me to the right place. The fitness room holds about 35 of us comfortably and I was surprised I didn't get muggy. Just right temperatures!

Hands down one of the best parks ever! Kids love it and we've spent hours easily here. Great for big and little kids. Teens as well! Plenty of clean bathrooms and drinking fountains throughout and space with tables and cooking areas! This park has it all!

Front of the Goodyear Rec center, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to get more pics by the pool.

I think I found a new happy place for my family and me!! I made sure to reserve a spot online to enjoy the aquatics area. When I checked in with my Littles the customer service desk made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions with a smile . The locker room was CLEAN no stinky smell or nasty floors!! The lockers was clean as well! The locker room was spacious with plenty of bathroom stalls and showers. I made my was to the toddler splash pool and it was plenty of room for all the enjoy! Next, my family and I went to the lazy River, it was a hit!! The lifeguards are very helpful and on top of things My oldest enjoyed the water slide and they kept the line moving! I can't wait to go back I really enjoyed myself and so did my family!

What a beautiful park. This location is huge and offers to many things from sand volleyball to pickleball as well as basketball and huge fields for baseball and soccer. This recreational campus also includes a pool/water park but the water features area currently for Goodyear residents only. Their website does say they may start offering other day passes to neighboring people some time in the future. My youngest kids are preteens and they loved it. It's got not only smaller player areas for he young kids; it has a lot of fun for the older age groups as well. My kids loved the spinning equipment and zip lines. There were handicap accessible swings as well as regular so this park really can be for everyone. I loved that there was ample sidewalks for exercise. The grass was well kept, area very clean, plenty of benches and tables with some covered. The bathrooms were very clean, but they did have recent vandalism unfortunately they were in mid fix. Still well kept and it's a great sign the issue was taken care of quickly. My kids can't wait to come back.

The weather was perfect but it would be a lot to eat in the car during the hot summer. I feel like there was a lot of variety of things to do for the age difference of my kids. My main issue was with the flooring of the entire park. I'd like to see them do something to make the sidewalk more comfortable for the 99% of people who are walking around barefoot. All of our feet hurt from walking around on the really hard concrete. I guess I'd recommend you wear water shoes if you have them. We used a Get Out Pass and the whole process was seamless. It's worth getting because just a trip to Sunsplash is pretty much the same price as a Get Out Pass and you get so much out of it. I don't know if I'd go again because the cost is pretty high.

Plus, you can play mini golf or even take a ride in the bumper boats or race karts. Definitely a timeless classic for me, and why I prefer Golfland over Sunsplash. Though Sunsplash isn't my favorite, I've still enjoyed myself there as my previous company used to do a holiday splash party each summer. The rental spaces are great, though the catered food was nothing special (hamburgers and hot dogs). All in all, it was still a fun event and you can count on me being in the lazy river if visiting Sunsplash!

So there we were, headed to Castles N' Coasters a wholesome amusement park in the desert... a place…read morefor families, laughter, and apparently, poor decision-making. Now my buddy this man reaches into his pocket and pulls out what I can only describe as a historical artifact. I'm talking a doobie so big it looked like Bob Marley himself rolled it during a greatest hits tour. I said, "Absolutely not. I am a grown man. I got responsibilities. I got a mortgage. I got snacks at home I haven't even finished yet." That didn't matter. Next thing I know, windows are up, car turns into a Dutch oven of bad decisions, and now I'm just along for the ride literally and spiritually. Somewhere between "this is a bad idea" and "why is everything funny," I lost control of the evening. We pull into the park around that magical time you know, that in-between hour... not quite day, not quite night... like God dimmed the lights and said, "Alright boys, let's see what happens." The whole place is glowing neon lights, arcade buzz, roller coasters rattling in the distance. Felt like walking into a carnival dream... or maybe a fever dream. Jury's still out. Now here's the thing about this place it's been around since the late '70s, sitting right there in Phoenix like a desert time capsule of fun. You got four roller coasters, including the Desert Storm, which sounds fun until you're on it reconsidering every life choice that led you there. Then there's the Patriot wooden, loud, and about as gentle as a bar fight. And somehow... SOMEHOW... we thought tequila beforehand was a good idea. So now we're buzzed, slightly baked against our will, and wandering this park like three philosophers who lost their notes. We're laughing at everything. Nothing's funny but everything's hilarious. A trash can? Comedy gold. A churro? Best thing I've ever eaten in my life. A child running past me? I'm emotionally invested in his journey. But I'll give credit where it's due the park itself? Clean. Staff's friendly. Nobody's judging three grown men giggling like idiots. It's got that old-school charm too arcades, mini golf, rides, the whole deal. You can bring a family here... or whatever version of a situation we were. Now the rides... oh, the rides. Let me tell you something nothing will make you rediscover fear like being slightly out of your mind on a roller coaster you thought you could handle. I got scared... not once... not twice... but a few times. The kind of scared where you start making promises to God you don't intend to keep. "I'll be a better man if I survive this drop..." Didn't mean a word of it. By the end of the night, we had the munchies, the laughs, and just enough dignity left to get back to the car without needing a group meeting. For a couple hours, though? We were kids again. No responsibilities. No stress. Just lights, noise, and pure, ridiculous fun. So yeah Castles N' Coasters might be a family amusement park... but under the right or completely wrong circumstances, it turns into one hell of a story. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Just... maybe crack a window on the way there.

Also, the Simpsons machine doesn't let you play Lisa. it picks Bart if you select Lisa's button. Another machine is Zoltar downstairs. He only talks, but does not spit out a souvenir ticket. That one actually did eat my dollar. I guess it made up for it because a couple people abandoned their games downstairs in the middle, so the bf and I played for "free". It was on someone else's dime, but I guess that counts, too. We got nachos and drinks from the snack bar. Service was quick. As with any family fun event center, food was a bit overpriced. The female bathroom was nasty. I don't know how often they clean them, but there was paper all over the stall floor. The faucets had a lot of buildup on them. Both the male and female restrooms smelled funky. I didn't play at the putt putt section, but one day I'll be back to do that. Overall, a good arcade/food experience. I'd recommend this place to people. I cannot comment on any of the rides/attractions besides the arcade.

I hadn't been to this specific location before, but I've gone to the Garden Grove one many times. One thing I noticed right away was that this one felt a bit smaller--just a couple fewer slides and a little less space overall--but it didn't take away from the experience. We arrived around 10:45am, and my teacher grabbed our wristbands in about five minutes, which was awesome, especially since it seemed kind of busy. By 11, we had our stuff set down and headed into the indoor water park. The first thing I did was the white group raft slide (fits about 2-5 people), and it was such a fun way to kick off the day. Of course, I had to try the red group raft next too. After that, my friends and I spent a couple hours going between the wave pool and the lazy river, which never got old. By 1pm, we were ready for lunch. I brought my own food, but I couldn't resist getting dessert after--a double scoop of ice cream from the creamery (cookie dough and mint chip). It was honestly amazing and easily one of the best resort ice creams I've had. After lunch, we went back to the slides and lazy river again. Luckily, my mom had signed the permission slip for me to stay an extra six hours--best decision ever. Around 3:30pm, I started exploring more on my own and tried the solo slides. Just like the group ones, there were red and white versions, but flipped in terms of intensity. The white one was definitely more fun, and I loved the small drop right before the end. My absolute favorite, though, was the red group slide. It starts like a normal twisty slide, then slows down before dropping you a few feet and swinging you side to side--it had all of us laughing nonstop, especially when my friend accidentally bounced up in the air. Around 6:15pm, we grabbed dinner. I got two slices of pepperoni pizza, a Pepsi, and a cookie. The pizza was actually better than I expected, and the cookie--an Otis Spunkmeyer--was so good. Definitely something I'd get again. After eating, I relaxed in the hot tub around 6:45pm. It wasn't too hot, which I actually liked because super hot water can make me dizzy. We left at 7:30pm, and honestly, I was surprised how fast the day flew by. I thought I might get bored after a few hours, but I stayed entertained the entire time. I can definitely see myself coming back here with my family soon. Great Wolf Lodge is AWESOME!

The biggest issue for us was the constant extra charges. Not only was there a $100 deposit required…read moreper night, but we also had to pay separately for parking. By the end of our stay, we had well over $100 in taxes and additional fees alone, including taxes on parking and amusements. It felt like absolutely everything came with an extra price tag, despite already paying premium resort prices. Unfortunately, the experience itself didn't justify the cost. Two attractions at the waterpark were shut down for most of the second day of our stay, which was disappointing considering how expensive everything already was. We also witnessed several kids getting injured in the wave pool area, which raised serious concerns about safety and supervision. In addition, many of the lifeguards seemed far more focused on chatting with each other about personal matters than paying close attention to ride cycles and guest safety. Lifeguards are there to protect guests, remain alert, and operate rides safely -- not socialize while attractions are running. Another issue was the lack of rule enforcement throughout the waterpark. We repeatedly saw both adults and children running in areas where running clearly shouldn't be allowed, yet staff rarely stepped in. Attractions like the lazy river also became unenjoyable because so many kids were swimming through it instead of using tubes and following the intended flow of the attraction. It made the experience feel chaotic rather than relaxing. We also chose not to eat at the resort after reading numerous Yelp, Google, and other reviews mentioning the high food prices and lack of healthy, filling, and sustaining meal options. Considering how expensive the resort already was, it was disappointing to feel like dining onsite would just add even more unnecessary costs for mediocre food choices. On top of that, we were woken up at 4 a.m. the first night by what sounded like a loudspeaker blasting tones, and then on checkout day there was a fire drill at 9 a.m., so we couldn't even enjoy the full checkout time until 11 a.m. We did have some fun, but overall the value just wasn't there for us. Honestly, I'd rather spend the money at Disney, where I feel like you get much more for the price. Parking and several of the attractions should absolutely be included at these rates. Sadly, we won't be returning.

Secondly, I found that the sheets on the bed are all flat- (they don't use fitted sheets- and it was troublesome as they didn't stay covering the mattress the whole night.
