Lifetime is not cheap, but the quality of instruction I get in her classes makes it completely worth it. Hannah is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and intentional with every class. She doesn't just lead a workoutshe actually teaches. She takes the time to correct form, offers thoughtful modifications, and makes sure everyone feels both challenged and supported, no matter their level. What really sets her apart is the consistency and care she brings every single session. You can tell she genuinely wants her clients to improve and feel stronger, and that kind of energy is rare. I've taken a lot of group fitness classes over the years, and this is by far one of the best experiences I've had. If she ever left, I would seriously reconsider my membership. I've been a member at the Palm Valle Life Time for a couple of years now on and off and their membership fees have tripled since I first signed up with them in like 2022. On 3/23/26-3/24/26, my personal items were stolen from a locker. I'm certain someone had unauthorized access because the locker was properly secured with my lock, yet the contents were taken. I used the locked on Monday 3/23 didn't go Tuesday and when I went today 3/25 my items were gone! ( PRADA BAG, BURBERRY READING GLASSES, sneakers, Dior perfumes and etc....) When I reported it to the General Manager, Ryan, and the front desk showed zero empathy or willingness to investigate. They simply repeated the standard 'you must have forgot your locker number ' without any concern for how this happened or how it affects members. As a premium gym that charges high dues (300$/mo) and promotes a safe, high-end environment, I expected at least basic customer service and a commitment to review locker room security (e.g., master key access, cameras, staff oversight). I understand the liability disclaimer, but the dismissive attitude left me feeling completely undervalued as a paying member. I hope corporate reviews this and ensures GMs handle theft reports with more compassion and follow-up. Other members deserve better protection and support. read more

I generally like lifetime. Sure they are more expensive than other gyms, but you're paying for the vibes and amenities. I like that across their franchise, they offer lots of different class option, the option for childcare, which I haven't checked out yet, and towel service. Their life cafe is actually one of my favorite parts. I love the smoothies on the menus. Now for this particular location, it's ok. I do find that it is rather busy, despite the franchise having caps on locations, classes have long waitlists, with the need to book a week in advance, and the options are limited. This gym is fairly clean, although I haven't used the locker rooms here yet. I haven't noticed any visual signs of uncleanliness. The staff are average, nothing that stands out. I live in Litchfied Park and the location was convenient. I was a member there for yrs and unfortunately, the experience never improved. The gym equipment is outdated and doesn't compare to what even smaller, more affordable gyms offer such as EOS!! Many of the machines are worn down, and upgrades seem long overdue. During summer time the A/C system didn't really work it was too hot specially when you're there to workout. The front desk staff can come across being snotty and rude specially the 2 ladies, one with long black hair during the morning shift and the other lady has short black hair in the evenings both never make people feel welcoming! Additionally, the basketball courts are constantly overcrowded, unless you're there during off-hours (which isn't practical for most people). For the price of membership ($260/mo), I expected much better quality, cleaner facilities, and way better service. Sadly, the value just isn't there and with all these negative reasons we decided to cancel. I would not recommend this gym to any of my friends or family members! My husband and I just joined! It's expensive but so are boutique yoga studios. I love the outdoor pool, yoga classes (great variety, professional instructors), variety of equipment, water massage chair, and sauna. Started out being a decent choice as part of the senior fitness program. Had good equipment, and the orientation was good and did not aggressively push you into buying extra services. But then they made changes to the hours available for the senior fitness program and the guest program changes, causing undue stress and inconvenience. I love this location. Staff is very welcoming. I was a member years ago in Minnesota and when I moved here to Arizona I joined a club up the street but just wasn't going. The beauty of Lifetime is, even though it's so big you feel like you're not being bugged. There are so many machines, so many places to lift weights where you can feel you fit in. I love the variety and the amount of classes that are available. This place just makes sense for me. The gals in the cafe always say my name which makes me feel cozy ... Bad changes to their guest policy. Previously when family came into town we could go to the gym and they would be admitted as our guest with no hassle. Even if I didn't personally use the gym that often, it was worth it to be able to accommodate family visiting. Now you only get one guest every 60 days, and when they come they will have to sign up and download an app on their phone. Imagine older less tech savvy family trying to sign up and download an app, when you could just request an ID and let them in. For me it's not worth the high monthly cost if guest passes are harshly limited and family is inconvenienced. I love lifetime. The pools are always clean and easy to get a lane. The dressing rooms and showers are cleaned multiple times a day. The hot yoga classes are the best. I have a membershio through my medicare supplement. Their change in hours for us is baffling. We're be penalized due to their issues with insurance companies. Also I had my brother-in-law visit for a week and was told even though I still had my 2 guest passes for the month you're not suppose to bring the same guest in more than once in 60 days. He's from out of town I wasn't trying to sneak in a neighbor or friend. You need to be a little more flexible in your rules. I went a little out of my way to check out this Lifetime Fitness during my trip to Phoenix. It is missing some of the luxuries that I'm used to at my home club, but it isn't the same level club, so it is to be expected. The fitness floor had all of the same great equipment as most LifeTime Fitness Centers and I thought they layout was comfortable. I attended two yoga classes and they were both great IMO. I also met the Yoga Teacher Trainers during the Fall 2019 program, which was cool because I was just about complete with that program at my home gym. It looked like they had a great Teacher Trainer there, so it seems like a good place for that too. read more

Nearly $500 later and my hair looks like I had an armature do it and not well might I add, I literally cried leaving and the stylist made me feel like she just did her best. Canceling my membership. The kids care "parent night out" is a crap show. They never do the activities advertised and there's always at least 50 kids and maybe 2 adults supervision. All 3 times we've used it my 4 year old is crying that other kids are being mean to her. Not near enough supervision. And false advertising. read more

I've been a member for about 4 years now. I have contemplated to switch gym the first year but I just couldn't and here I am 4 years later, don't have any plan to switch. Their child center won't compare to any other gym. They have so many fund activities and my kid LOVES to go there. He asks me everyday if we are going to the gym or not. That tells you, they are fun. Pool, we don't have a pool at home so gym is where we live during summer. Aquatic manager is the best, she pretty much helped us get through the pandemic. She was there every day with a smile on her face when the rest of the gym was dark and clashed. Also, my two kids were in the swim class and one moved up to swim team in the beginning of this year and the progress she made is just amazing. Coaches does an amazing job! Fitness rooms are clean and has everything I need and so many options for fitness groups....I haven't tried them all but I have been doing some new things and I loved them all!!! Overall staffs are nice, GM is always around making sure everything is operating up to his expectations. 100% recommend this club! read more

I can't say enough good things about this gym! I absolutely LOVE the classes they offer, all the class instructors are amazing. They care about you and your fitness goals! The classes are hard but fun, and I actually look forward to going to class every day (well about 5x a week) :) The childcare service is absolutely wonderful! I have a 20 month old. They always remember his name, what he likes, and they take really good care of him. He always says hi and bye, and I can tell he really likes every single person that takes care of him! Additionally, swim lessons are great, everyone we have interacted with in aquatics is super kind, they also remember my son, and he is learning a ton! Lastly, the front staff that checks you in, as well as the original guy who toured us around and sold us our membership, are all amazing. We have always felt very welcome and comfortable. This place was nice when I did visit. But I had to cancel my membership due to Personal reasons. I get an email notice that my membership will be canceled in 30 days and that I can continue to use the facility. But In the notice I was not Notified that I would be paying a prorated fee. In the actual agreement I do not read the words "you will Be prorated". I talked to a Nicole Laskosky in member relations who asked Me to refer to my agreement. But she herself could notTell me where in the agreement it stated that or anything similar to that. She told me she would let the GM Ryan know of My dissatisfaction . She also said that she is sorry that I don't Understand what active 30 membership means. So I guess you have to assume that you will be charged a fee. Please read your agreements. The amenities seem great. Unfortunately the staff is extremely condescending and unwilling to answer questions. They always talk about how overworked and busy they are when we try to approach the front desk about enrolling or taking a tour. This has happened about 4 times now so we have decided to try a different gym. Lifetime requires a 30 day notice when making changes to your account so not to effect next bill, otherwise you will still get billed current on next bill and they charge you $10 to make a change. So I get a notice that they are raising fees again. Two years ago I was paying $67 and now it has gradually went up to $99.
