I love that if you are sweeping through the puzzles staff has a way to introduce extra puzzles (which is what happened in our case!). A lot of their puzzles were multi-step and intricate. You can tell who ever made the puzzle was really putting some thought into its creation. Each part of the escape room really played off of your senses whether it was smell, touch, temperature, etc. This room was 75 mins long and it felt like it went by so fast because we were having so much fun. I hope they get a bigger facility just so they can do more rooms but even so they really utilized all of the space, everything was working and felt high quality. Honestly blown out of the water with the experience. They had lockable storage available for purses and phones that are FREE. Bathroom was nice and clean as was the rest of the building. And the cherry on top was the sweet staff! They were so welcoming, kind, and funny. Looking forward to our next escape room!

Customer Service The owners are absolute joys to get to know. They truly want to know about your experience in Escape Rooms. I moved away for college and they kept in contact. They also sometimes include certain team names in future rooms. They are highly relational, highly intentional, and are always willing to receive constructive criticism to make their location better. Immersion The scariness of their rooms are fantastic. In the rooms I have done I would give it a PG-13 level scary. There are great jump scares, and your heart is racing the entire time. The scene is set the second you enter a room because you get lead in with bags over your head. Makeup and Costuming is incredible and this business should pride themselves in the quality of actors. Rooms The rooms have gone from good to great. In the beginning 2015, the rooms were a little lackluster, but the last room I did was incredible, immersive and visually pleasing. Every 2 to 3 months they are creating a new room which is something not a lot escape rooms do. New Puzzles, new environments, and new creations constantly are bringing people through the doors. As an avid Escape room participant, Unit 55 is a spectacular and must see while in Spokane WA.

My son and I were driving up to Spokane and stopped in Couer d'Alene for a few house to check out…read morethe town. Being a pretty nice day outside we thought to kill an hour at a local outdoor mini golf course. We found this one on Yelp and gave it a try. It was not a great sign when I drove right by it and didn't see it...because the plot of land it's on is tiny, like this was someone's backyard and not a commercial plot. We paid our $7 each and picked out our golf balls. The course and holes are tiny. Each hole is only about 20 ft long and about 6 ft wide. There's typically one barrier or decoration on each hole to avoid. Most shots you have to stand outside the boundary of the hole to putt because it's so narrow. The worst part was...the green don't roll true at all. There's little breaks and movement like there's invisible pinball bumpers impacting your ball the whole time. There's very little skill involved here. Our favorite hole was one where you had to make it in or the ball would roll all the way back down and off the green every time. And with the random nature of each putt, we each tried 8 or so times and then just picked up and moved on. One of the few nice things were the porcelain creatures and decorations around. It added a little bit of a fun element. The trees and shade in certain spots was also nice so the sun isn't beating down on you the whole time. I was on the border of giving this 2 stars but decided 3 stars is fair for those who don't care about their score or getting rewarded for hitting good putts. It's just decent enough that you can still get some enjoyment out here. Bonus note, after the round we got a BOGO coupon for future rounds. there's also a chance to get a free game on the 19th hole machine.

Also there is a little kids area perfect for smaller kids or kids with disabilities. The first life guard in that area made kids who were too big leave. The second like guard who came let an entire high school dance team over take the area even though they were clearly over a foot too tall. I think he let them stay because he was a good looking guy and he knew all the girls thought he was super cute and kept flirting with him. Also the snack shack took about a half hour for fries. My stars are basically just for the price. It was a good deal.

The prices are very reasonable and their amenities have only grown since we first started coming. They've widened the ball pit and added onto their coffee/espresso offerings for example. Those that work here are always kind and friendly. They keep things as neat as possible and it's real clean (especially considering all the little ones that constantly have a blast here!). I have not done a private party here, but I'm sure that's great too! It seems to be very popular.
