The host was great. The room being in the dark was exciting. The questions were challenging yet fair.

There was some cool interaction with this room for a bit in particular. Another one, Vampires. even though also dark, was setup to light up at all the right times. Vampires is probably very highly rated for escape rooms in the country and was certainly one of my favorite experiences personally. Game master and staff have escape room running down to a science. This company has been here for 7 years and they plan to change Bikers theme soon. The entrance is a bit tricky to find as the website said to go down a set of steps on the side. While this is still true, you need to go down a different flight of stairs w a blue awning instead.

This was my first time doing an escape room and the first for my SO as well. We were visiting…read morefriends who have done a few and loved them so they booked for us to do Biker's Revenge on a Saturday afternoon. They did the reservations and everything so I can't speak to that. Upon entering one from our group checked in while two of us searched the lobby for handprints to get extra clues. We all signed our waivers and then were guided back behind the curtain to enter our room. The design was great. You really felt like you were in a bar and there was a lot of detail to the decor. We had a little trouble figuring out where to start but we were able to just ask our game master for a clue when needed. It is such a fun, hands on experience. The puzzles were fun. I enjoyed the variety and that it wasn't just figuring out combinations to locks. Unfortunately we didn't escape in time, but just a few more minutes and we would have had it. The four of us all had a great time and though. This was my first experience so I didn't have a lot to compare it to. However it was great and definitely made us fans of escape rooms. We have done one other since and definitely preferred the experience here

This was my first experience with an escape room of any kind. I have to say we had a great time…read more I went with a group of 10 on a Sunday afternoon. Let me start by saying the building is absolutely gorgeous. It still holds tons of the old Bank ledgers, furniture and apparatus. Steve was more than generous with his time and knowledge, giving us a lot of history and a tour. Without giving too much away, I will say it was a lot more than just a jigsaw puzzle. There were trick lighting effects, audio effects, math puzzles, Etc. Plus there were red herrings. Deciphering the special effects was key to figuring out how to steal the gold! Marietta is a neat little town. Eclectic eateries (at least 4, plus just 5 minutes away is the amazing Bully's Restaurant and Pub), a brewery and lots of great architecture. Plan a day, I don't think you'll be disappointed

First National Escape was more than an escape room, it was an escape experience. It starts as soon…read moreas you walk into the building, with the game taking place in an actual bank and vault with over 100 years of history. The structure itself is the biggest character in the game, but one that you must not overlook. Then you are warmly greeted by Steve and Anna, the owners and restorers of the building and creators of the game. They take you into the board room for your overview, instructions and intro video. When that is finished, you are led into the area of the bank that has the game. The game itself is rather simple, but how you do it is fun. Your goal is to break into the vault, steal the contents, then get to the teller line to make a deposit. You need to interact with the staff during the game, and the staff plays each part in character. That was really cool and very fun. We had our kids play along and they did a great job. When the game is over, Steve gives you a tour of the building and points out some of the historic items that they found. The history of the bank goes back to the 1800s and it is just so amazing to see these elements preserved. Steve and Anna clearly are very much "invested" in the game and your entire experience. This type of dedication not only to the escape game industry but to history itself is a huge part of why this game was a very unique experience for this enthusiast. We had a lot of fun and were glad that we had the opportunity to play First National Escape.
