What a cute mini golf place. The course was well maintained, we took the nature course and loved the vibe of nature and butterflies flying all around with the brook running through, all with a beautiful backdrop of pastures and farms. At the end you get to order ice cream and top off a great visit. The staff behind the counter were super friendly and I would highly recommend this place any day.

Great clean mini golf course with two courses to choose from. Challenging and fun. They also have an ice cream shop with snacks.

Two courses, great price, beautiful land scape. They always have a buy one get one deal in the clipper magazine!

Of all the miniature golf courses in the the Lancaster area, it's not the best, but it's not the worst. It is pretty good. They have 2 18 hole courses located here, The nature course and the boat course, I don't know why there is a boat course in the middle of farm country but whatever. I prefer the nature course, I think the theming is better, but you can't go wrong with either. The boat course is the slightly easier of the 2. Neither course is very hard, so they are good for kids. At $9 a game it is right in line with other courses in the area, If you play both you get a discount. Both course are your typical modern mini golf course. Think more rocks and logs to avoid than clowns and windmills. They are both well maintained and the turf is in great shape. There is plenty of shade on the courses. The biggest complaint I have is with the staff, they all looked and acted bored and disinterested with the work and acted like I was bothering them by trying to play here. It is also kind of weird that the website does not mention having 2 courses. For people with kids they also offer a small petting zoo where you can by feed to feed the animals, just be sure to bring change for that. There is also a small playground, Turkey Hill ice cream is sold here as well. Overall a very good mini golf course to bring the family with a few other things for small kids to do. If you in the area and want to fill your mini golf fix and want a quick round try this place out, you will be happy you did.

Nice miniature golf course with two courses from which to choose. We came on a nice day and had a Groupon for a great deal! There are a few sections that need a little TLC to bring them back to life. Otherwise, the course is a nice way to spend an hour or so just relaxing with your kids. There is a small ice cream store attached were one can buy food for the animals.

Too many holes still look like this.

Spurred on by a hell of a nice day and finding some online couponage, we decided to give Waters Edge another shot. Sadly, some of the points I made in my last review still have not been corrected. Prices are still non-existent on their website. I forget what it is but it's something like $9 for an adult which is kind of a ripoff considering the condition of the course and the difficulty involved, i.e. not much. Why these are still not posted is beyond me. Their website has no verbiage that they have two courses. Well, I should mention that right now they do not have two courses as the one course is out of commission for renovations/construction. The course that we played was the same one that we played on our last visit and while some improvements have been made there are still a lot of holes with really thin beat up carpets that are like putting on the concrete in the parking lot. The one upside was that because it was a Sunday the nearby Bird In Hand Smorg was closed which kept crowds to a minimum so we flew thru the course in well under an hour. Look, I'm sure at one point in time these courses were primo stuff but it's very clear based on our two visits why this place is perpetually on sites like Groupon or Local Flavor. If you're in the Lancaster area and want to get your swing on, consider stopping here but know that you should only do it with some type of heavy discount because currently the courses are simply not worth paying what is charged. Places like Caddy Shack or Village Green give far more value for the money in terms of themeing, difficulty and course conditions. Maybe if we come back in another two years both courses will have received the TLC that they need. Until then, we'll spend our mini golf dollars at the aforementioned other spots.

One of my favorite mini golf courses and I've been mini golfing many places! There are so many beautiful aspects to talk about! The courses were recently redone and new landscaping & new construction was added. Waters Edge is conveniently located in the Bird in Hand Family Inn Parking Lot. There should be plenty of parking. A beautiful handmade lake loaded with fish sits beside the course and directly across the street boasts a cute petting zoo. There are 2 courses. Both courses are unique and fun to play on. I personally enjoy the "water" course. Customer service is definitely on par (haha see what I did there!) Check traveler brochures / online for coupons *Hole in 1 at the last hole wins you a free game!!* I hope you enjoy Waters Edge as much as I have since I was a child!

The atmosphere was both fun and beautiful. The shrubby and music added a nice ambiance to the setting. There are two courses available: the boat course and the nature course; we opted for the nature course. The service was quick and friendly, but obviously it took a while to play because we came on a Saturday night in the summer so naturally it was busy. The course itself was in good condition and the ice cream afterwards was a nice addition! Would come again!

Nice mini golf course. Naturally beautiful in the spring with flowers and greenery, a nice change of pace from most.

Each child was $7.50, and I didn't have to pay. There's also a local discount, which was a nice bonus if your local (Central PA) . The best part is that your kids get wristbands for all-day access, so you can leave and come back later. The wristbands were convenient, but not every kid loves wearing them. One of mine tried to pull theirs off, so that's something to keep in mind. The entire village is set on turf, which made it feel clean and easy for kids to run around. There are around 10 little houses, all filled with fun, imaginative play setups. Things do get a little mixed around from kid to kid, but it didn't take away from the experience at all. There isn't much shade, and on a hot day it definitely makes a difference. We stayed for about an hour, from around 11 to 12, and that heat was the main reason we left. Food and drinks aren't allowed inside the village for kids, but parents can walk around with coffee, which is a plus. There is a food and drink stand on-site if you want to grab something. The setup overall is super convenient. Bathrooms are right there, and you pay at the main mini golf area when you arrive. There are also extra outdoor games included, like giant checkers and tic-tac-toe, which added even more value without extra cost. Parking is easy with angled spots, and when we went it wasn't crowded at all. The location is also perfect if you're already exploring nearby spots like Choo Choo Barn, Strasburg Rail Road, or Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Everything is within about 10 minutes. There were a few bees and wasps around, which is expected for an outdoor space. It wasn't overwhelming, and it didn't interfere with play. This would be a great spot for playdates or casual meetups. The price is hard to beat, and it's an easy, fun outing for younger kids. I'd definitely go back, just aiming for a cooler day next time.

Great place to play. Alot of tourists but it seeems to go quickly waiting for the person in front…read moretj live to next hole
