This place is right off of Chocolate Ave! Parking lot is in the back. Reservations are required and it's so fun. We did the "A Totally 90's Mystery" room and highly recommend! They allow 12 people in each room, but given the size of that room I'd recommend less than that, we had a group of 6 and that went very well. We made it out!

How much of a review can you really say about an Escape Room? They had the front section which was a normal lobby, tons of chairs for your groups and a table full of different locks they give you to get familiar with. Ones that could possibly be in your room. Just as you're about to walk through the hallway there's a window with no glass that you can see straight into the next building. I have no idea if they're apart of the same "company" but I believe it was a bar or restaurant type area. Anyway, going down the hall -- whoever designed and created the art on the wall did a phenomenal job. Really one of the coolest things to look at. And then whichever them you chose, you go into that room of the hallway. They do have an area where you can hold up signs and take your photos about who won and didn't. They do have a parking lot in the back, and the Escape Room is right off the W. Chocolate Ave - the main street in Hershey. Again, not much to say.. The one we chose was "Roaring 20's, challenging for sure!

Oh the fun we had! This was easily one of the best escape rooms I've ever been to. The staff was friendly, the facility was clean, and They had a lot of helpful tutorial stuff before you entered the room. They have a variety of rooms to choose from but we decided to go with wizard room. It was real fun and creative. What I really enjoyed was how some of the clues revolved around Harry Potter and Lord of The rings Rings! The next time you're in town you should definitely give this place a try. :-)

Rooms too small to be put together with different groups of people. Hints given too frequently without request.

So much fun! Went with my sister and friends for her birthday. It's fun to use logic to escape!

This was my first experience with an escape room of any kind. I have to say we had a great time…read more I went with a group of 10 on a Sunday afternoon. Let me start by saying the building is absolutely gorgeous. It still holds tons of the old Bank ledgers, furniture and apparatus. Steve was more than generous with his time and knowledge, giving us a lot of history and a tour. Without giving too much away, I will say it was a lot more than just a jigsaw puzzle. There were trick lighting effects, audio effects, math puzzles, Etc. Plus there were red herrings. Deciphering the special effects was key to figuring out how to steal the gold! Marietta is a neat little town. Eclectic eateries (at least 4, plus just 5 minutes away is the amazing Bully's Restaurant and Pub), a brewery and lots of great architecture. Plan a day, I don't think you'll be disappointed

First National Escape was more than an escape room, it was an escape experience. It starts as soon…read moreas you walk into the building, with the game taking place in an actual bank and vault with over 100 years of history. The structure itself is the biggest character in the game, but one that you must not overlook. Then you are warmly greeted by Steve and Anna, the owners and restorers of the building and creators of the game. They take you into the board room for your overview, instructions and intro video. When that is finished, you are led into the area of the bank that has the game. The game itself is rather simple, but how you do it is fun. Your goal is to break into the vault, steal the contents, then get to the teller line to make a deposit. You need to interact with the staff during the game, and the staff plays each part in character. That was really cool and very fun. We had our kids play along and they did a great job. When the game is over, Steve gives you a tour of the building and points out some of the historic items that they found. The history of the bank goes back to the 1800s and it is just so amazing to see these elements preserved. Steve and Anna clearly are very much "invested" in the game and your entire experience. This type of dedication not only to the escape game industry but to history itself is a huge part of why this game was a very unique experience for this enthusiast. We had a lot of fun and were glad that we had the opportunity to play First National Escape.

Tim hosted our most recent visit, and he's a skilled host; definitely had a sixth sense for nudging our "don't give us clues" group when we really needed one! His introductions and post-game wrap-up were amiable and kindly included some special attention for the grade schooler in our adult group. Why short of 5 stars? Like I said, I've been here three times - and on two times, there was a mishap in the room setup. Even though Tim was on top of fixing things, the spell gets broken when you correctly solve a puzzle, then get stuck with no recourse, then the overseer has to give you the answer you already got in order to learn that it's not a player error. The error this time could have been avoided if the designer had made some distinguishing marks on one of two identical items which require unique solutions (keeping it vague here; if you know, you know.) It's frustrating because otherwise the rooms are so good! Good enough that I'm looking forward to my next visit.
