The young lady working the door was extremely kind and welcoming, and the girl behind the counter with braids was just as sweet and helpful. These two young women were the only bright spot in an otherwise unacceptable experience. This location needs serious attention, training, and better management.

We were told we could choose from the 25 colors that were back there. When we were done with the party, we realized that there was a larger array of color options in the main studio and that the paint brushes and everything were better quality. It was upsetting to find out that we were not provided with an option to use any of those colors or items even though we were spending our money the same as everyone else. I expressed my disappointment in an email, hoping that in the future they would let others know. However, I feel like the management was very unprofessional and rude when I brought this to their attention. Attached are screenshots of our conversation. I was unable to get a screenshot of the first email sent as it was through their online contact form on their page, which I did not receive a copy of. I felt like I they were very dismissive of my concern and failed to address the problem. They still don't seem to understand what the problem is. You can go on the free ride about how chocolate is made- and then you get a free sample at the end! They have food options but I think they're pretty overpriced. I would only go if you're on a bus trip and don't have any other options. The gift shop is massive and has different merchandise than the park. They also have deals on certain chocolate items and sometimes have new products as well. The check out lines can get long but move very quickly. There is also a self checkout line than can be hard to find but is very quick. You have to stop by if you're visiting Hersheypark- don't miss it!
