If you are going to color me mine you need to come to this location! This is the Harrisburg location! -Staff here are nice & helpful. You can tell they are like a family and treat each other with respect. -It is BYOB- yes that is right BYOB! -They always there to help, in any way possible. -If you plan your visit right you can skip out in the 8.00 studio fee or get BOGO on the fee. I have been here quite a few times, visiting with small children and even friends. They are accommodate no matter what size group we have. I love making gifts for loved ones here- I know with a team by side it will turn out fantastic!

Color Me Mine was a cool experience. You get to pick a clay creation and paint it however you desire: they have a lot of different techniques to help you create the perfect design. However, make sure to come when they are not too crowded. While they are friendly in ideal situations, when busy you may have a hard time getting someone to give you the necessary attention in order to understand the experience (that's what happened to me). Take your kids or a loved one and have a good time. Trust me, it is worth the trip.

In addition to paying for the pottery piece, you'll have to pay an $8 studio fee per person to paint.

It was hard to decide prices ranging from $60+ to $7. However, after browsing the selection, my mom and I picked two items each! It took me and her about 2 hours and cost $50, which wasn't bad at all. The only reason I give four stars and not 5 the workers when we walked in were just sitting talking didn't really engage with us or show us around ask if it was our 1st time I had to tell them. Also, when painting, I thought they would come around to see if we needed anything or look at our work and tell us we need more layers I had to ask. However, personally, they were still nice, just not as engaged as i would like. All in all a great experience and super fun I will be back.

My wife and I were excited to end our first ever trip to Ice Fest by making a pottery souvenir. We…read morehad seen the Facebook advertisement to make a coffee mug with Carlisle Ice Fest stencils. However, our experience painting pottery left us very frustrated and determined never to return to this business when we're next in town. We've painted pottery in numerous studios in Maryland and New Hampshire, so we understand the basics of the process. When we entered the studio, no one greeted us or was seemingly working there to answer our questions. We wanted to know if there was a studio fee or if that was included in the pottery prices. Despite advertising the mugs, they were not easily identified as being the special. The staff, and I'm reluctant to actually call them employees, we're giggly teenagers who were more interested in chatting then helping customers. We had to stand in the check out line to get basic questions answered and ended up waiting for the owner to come over to have the stencil process explained. In addition to the lack of support from the staff, the owner/manager was busy running an adjacent store selling teas and other goods. As a result, it appeared no one was actually managing the pottery studio. Focusing on either the pottery studio or the other store instead of poorly running both would have improved everyone's experiences. The owner was gracious enough to ship our mugs to our home in Maryland. However, the packaging was poor and resulted in chipping one mug and completely cracking the other. Luckily, we can use the Japanese kintsugi technique to salvage our mugs as candle holders instead of their intended purpose.

We were told we could choose from the 25 colors that were back there. When we were done with the party, we realized that there was a larger array of color options in the main studio and that the paint brushes and everything were better quality. It was upsetting to find out that we were not provided with an option to use any of those colors or items even though we were spending our money the same as everyone else. I expressed my disappointment in an email, hoping that in the future they would let others know. However, I feel like the management was very unprofessional and rude when I brought this to their attention. Attached are screenshots of our conversation. I was unable to get a screenshot of the first email sent as it was through their online contact form on their page, which I did not receive a copy of. I felt like I they were very dismissive of my concern and failed to address the problem. They still don't seem to understand what the problem is. After speaking with others regarding this location, we will not be visiting here anymore. But we have heard wonderful things about the Harrisburg location and will visit that location in the future.

I did a glass fusion class here with my wife, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it…read more We got a groupon for it, and went not being sure of what to expect. We've never worked with glass before, but the staff explained the decorative options well and had plenty of materials and tools available. The staff was always helpful and very friendly, and did a great job supervising the class and helping out when needed. We paid the extra $10 each to 'slump' our flat glass discs into bowl shape after they are melted. I would have liked a slightly curved plate option but that wasn't available. This requires a second run through the kiln, so the price is understandable. Sadly, it may take up to 4 weeks for the plates to finish the fusing process, although we saw some finished examples that looked gorgeous. I had one minor complaint, and that's only because I'm being nit-picky: the staff was hard to find sometimes during the class. There were plenty of staff members there, I just kept forgetting who they were since they didn't have nametags or aprons or anything to identify them.

I enjoyed the small class as it felt more personable and by the end all of us were chit chatting and having a great time. Our instructor Kim was very helpful and fun. I can't wait to go back for another Sip n' Paint event or a glass fusion class! Kim said she wanted to try doing a jewelry making class which I would definitely attend!
