The evening event, Central Pennsylvania Friends of Jazz, featuring the unforgettable performance by the Steve Rudolph Quartet, was rescheduled from Friday to Sunday due to Canadian wildfire smoke affecting air quality in the Harrisburg area. The Steve Rudolph Quartet (Steve Rudolph, piano; Hassan Shakur, bass; Larry Marshall, drums; and multi-instrumentalist Thom Strohman, sax, piccolo, flute, and clarinet) did a tremendous job featuring Jazz compositions by Benny Golson, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, and Charlie Parker. All that was needed was a blanket, chairs, and picnic treats on this perfect smokeless, not hot or humid evening. There is always plenty of parking, and restrooms are located in the Centennial Barn.

This was the worst B&B I have ever experienced. We booked a…read morefive day stay for three couples a year in advance. When we arrived, we couldn't get in the building or our room. We had to make several phone calls to get the codes to access the building and room. This was just the first of many problems we encountered. The rooms were nice, but the service was terrible. We paid for a hot breakfast every morning, which was advertised when we booked. This was not the case when we arrived. No hot breakfast at all. Just cold lunch meat,hard boiled eggs, toast if you wanted to fix it yourself, instant oatmeal in a packet, over ripped bananas, and strawberries. This is not the hot breakfast that we paid for. I contacted the management company that operates the B&B and was told they stopped the hot breakfast two weeks before we arrived. I ask why we weren't informed about this. I was told they couldn't notified everyone that had reservations, over four hundred. I told them we would like to have a partial refund because they didn't give us what was advertised, and we paid for. As of today, they still list a hot breakfast on most of the travel websites. They didn't offer any refund. They said to review the cancellation policy. I then said we would have cancelled our entire stay if we had known this before we left home. Still no offer to at least a partial refund. We had to go to a restaurant and get our breakfast every day, and that was an extra expense. As of today, after several back and forth emails, still no offer of any kind of refund. As far as the service part of our stay. We had to ask every day for clean towels, wouldn't take the dirty ones, or empty the trash during our entire stay. I told the management company this is not a good way to run a business. I don't think they care at all about how they treat the people that rent at this B&B. I would never book this place again. I hope people read this review and avoid this property.

The creamy texture was a little too much for me, so probably just get the regular garlic Parm next time. No issues with flavor, just a little thick and messy. (Somehow, I got that sauce on my shirt and on the back of my neck.) The Blue cheese was a great dipper for the hot sauce but I should've ordered a large cup. I also got the Cacio E Pepe Beef sandwich with fries; it was huge and awesome! I think I would order that every time I go here in the future It was so good. We attended a Cocktail hour on the main floor which had separate little rooms, even though the wedding was small it did feel tight in certain areas once all of the guests arrived. After the cocktail hour we proceeded upstairs for the reception. I believe they have an elevator for guests that cannot walk up the steps. The ballroom upstairs was beautiful with a large window to view the river. Restroom situation: the main floor just had one restroom, single person.
