Puzzles were troublesome at times, but so fun! Lots of communicating through rooms needed at some points to speed up the process. Theres key locks, number locks, a fun book with a story. A couple jump scares occur too, which was super fun, especially cause I love scary stuff. There's one point with a hockey puck that had us laughing while we struggled. We were able to collect the eggs and successfully leave the room! The mechanical door at the end was super cool. Definitely recommend this room.

I do feel like I didn't get to see about half of the tasks though because of it. The room was well-decorated as well. The Meh: There were no fun surprises, no additional rooms, and actually no escaping...just 12 puzzles that you either finish or don't. They don't give you a clue option either which we thought was odd if you're really stuck on a puzzle. (They had a very time-intensive Alphabet puzzle we spent way too much time on.) They felt so bad for us that they gave us the keychain. To be honest I just wish I was refunded or given a different room at that point because I was looking forward to playing so much. I felt like we would have solved the room if we didn't have to use our clues on broken stuff and if things worked like they were supposed to work. Our directional lock broke, and we ended up not making it through. We decided to try to give it another try. We wanted to use a Groupon, and, unfortunately, the voucher code did not come in time. We called to try to see what to do, and the man on the phone told us to just call back whenever we got the voucher code. We showed up hoping the code came in time, and we're informed when we got there that we had to book an hour ahead no matter what. We offered to purchase on the spot and we're turned away. This was an awesome experience…read more Very well thought out and challenging escape game rooms. We did two of the games on two separate occasions. One of our groups had 7 and another had 9. The staff and creators were incredibly creative. It made it a very out of the ordinary experience. It's not always easy to throw together a new group of 12 people for an activity, but a recent…read moreget-together at Breakout Escape Rooms meant that a good time was had by all. As a fan of trivia, riddles, and the old-fashioned scavenger hunt, I was excited to try my grey matter at breaking out of an escape room. How hard could it be? Like the rooms themselves, the answer is not always straightforward. We were "locked" into the Ringmaster's Den with one hour to solve the puzzles that would provide us clues to crack our way out. Immediately upon entering the room, we began scouring every square inch and quickly got several good leads. The room itself was true to the theme - colorful fabric draped from the ceiling like the big top of a circus, and circus-themed items abounded, whether or not they provided clues. Circus music played in the background as we worked feverishly to break out way out in record time. It seemed that the clock speeded up as we approached the end of our time and tried several combinations to get our way out. We ended up being successful, and we got the photo at the end to prove it! I've tried several escape rooms, and I enjoyed the organized setup, the immersing themes, and the challenging hints that this one provided. For your next night out with friends where you want to do something a bit out of the ordinary, break out of your rut with a night at Breakout Escape Rooms!
