Add a small child to your lap, and a mom was slightly terrified. We paddled along, albeit very slowly, and eventually we were close to the golf course. We also decided after we saw some people swimming on a bunch of little "sand bars" that it would make a great a pit stop too. My kids were happy to have some solid ground and the water felt really nice actually. We only went calf deep in the water, mostly the parts that were clear, but the people we saw were shoulder deep. I'm definitely not brave enough. In any case! We saw a bunch of turtles, tons of dragonflies, water bugs, a few birds (herons?), but no snakes or alligators/crocodiles thank goodness. Then he showed me several bikes in my price range and let me try them out. I found a bicycle that was the perfect combo of comfort, ease of use and price. Because of a special on this brand, I was able to save over $300. Chandler helped me understand what accessories I would need and explained the purpose and use of each one. There was no upsell involved -- he wanted me to understand what was available. He explained I didn't need to buy everything he showed me today. What I did need to begin riding was a helmet (which he helped me with getting one that fit like a glove), a tire pump and road kit for repairs. Chandler took all the time I needed to ensure I was comfortable with the purchase. He adjusted the bike to fit me and made sure it was ready to hit the road. Unfortunately, we couldn't fit it into my car. Chandler went ABOVE and BEYOND expectations: he said he would bring the bike to my house when he got off work. You don't find that level of service many places anymore. I would highly recommend AJBW for all biking needs. Be sure to ask for Chandler B to be sure you have a terrific experience. If you have a "I want everything in the store!" kind of kid, I would not recommend going here, unless you have an endless budget for this bear-making experience. If your kid is ok with something like this - "We are going to get you a special bear, and you can choose 1 outfit and 1 accessory," you could get out of the store for less than $50, especially if your child chooses a bear on sale or less expensive bear. (Some are as low as $15, but go up to $40.) Also remember, you are not just buying the bear, but paying for the experience, and it can be fun! After visiting the location near me for my older daughter's birthday, my younger daughter wanted to go also for her birthday (of course) while we were in Georgia for the holidays. This location was almost identical to the one near us, so my review is largely the same. This location is also clean, bright, friendly, and welcoming. The staff is ready to help and really try to make it special for the recipient. Despite my 4-year-old being incredibly indecisive, we had a good time and she left with what she wanted as well as a great memory :-)
