Meg is amazing! I have had several massages of all types, and from many different therapists, but I truly believe that my deep-tissue massage with Meg was the best I have ever had. She was very positive and professional, and it was clear that she knew what she was doing and talking about. She took some time before getting started to speak with me about my trouble areas, and tailored the massage to those needs. She used some techniques that I have never experienced before, but they were what set the massage apart from others, and what I believed to be the real reason my massage was so successful. When the session was over she went over some stretches that I can do at home to help with my pain. She also instinctively knew how I slept based on what she noticed in my muscles and suggested a new position for me to sleep in. I have slept that way since, and have woken feeling a lot more rested, and a lot less sore! I have sinus problems and plan on scheduling a lymphatic drainage massage with her soon! I have been seeing Meg for over a year now. My husband is a huge fan too. We both have back and neck issues and everytime we see Meg, we come away feeling better. I just saw her last week - she was kind enough to fit me in on short notice - and it was a strong, deep massage that was incredibly healing. Even though I didn't have instant relief from the SI joint pain I was feeling, after icing that night and stretching the next day, my back was feeling better. I have a tilted pelvis, so there is only so much she can do to help me. But I trust her, she knows what she is doing and I feel very comfortable with her. She has true compassion for those who experience pain and I believe she truly wants all her clients to feel better. I received a 90 minute massage from Meg for the first time this past weekend and it was amazing!! It was a deep tissue massage that worked out all the knots and kinks I had in my neck, shoulder and back. It even worked out a year old shoulder injury that I was just living with. I had partially dislocated my left shoulder over a year ago and the range of motion had been limited ever since. I had just gotten so used to it that I forgot to even mention it to her before we started. But then once I got home I noticed I could swing my arm around over my head with nearly no pain at all! Words can not express how amazing my massage was at Escape Massage Charlotte. I have had a lot of bad experiences with massage and am always hesitant to try again. Meg has the best flow of any therapist I've ever had. She really knows how to go right to that problem area and work it out. I was having serious lower back pain and after just the first massage it made a noticeable difference. I went in requesting deep tissue but Meg explained how a neuromuscular would be more effective for my lower back pain.
