Me and my friends were in the area and we decided to check out Escape Long Beach. It was actually not planned yet but they had actually designated complementary parking spots which was unexpected in this area. This surprised us and we divided to go along with it. Our group im promptly decided to do The Lab and it was better than we expected. There were actually clever puzzles which we never experienced before especially since we've done about 40 escape rooms as a group. I would absolutely recommend this to both experienced and newer escape room players. My host for the lab was AJ and he was great! Very friendly and courteous especially when we came late but he was very accommodating. The lab was so good that we decided to do The Queen room afterwards too. Unfortunately our booking times didn't align but Navah stepped up and decided to host us regardless of booking times. She is very nice and friendly and made it very comfortable and casual. Overall, for both rooms, we had a great time. I try to sway away from specifics about the rooms to not spoil it but both, "The Lab" and "The Queen" were great experiences regardless of player level. read more

My boyfriend and I last minute booked the Queen room and I noticed we could go just the two of us in a room. Sean was our guide he was really helpful! We definitely needed some hints and he gave us good clues when we needed them. I like that we could do the room on our own without being paired with others. The room was challenging but also very fun! This was not our first escape room but our first one without additional people. We escaped with 13 min left! It's great they even challenge you how to get into the actual room! We really enjoyed figuring out the puzzles. I hope to go back and try the Lab room another time! read more

I love escape rooms! This place was not a let down. I was challenged and given just the right clues! We escaped one of the harder rooms with around 11 minutes left on the clock. 3 friends and I did the Queen Mary room last night and we were VERY impressed. I've done about 10 games before at other places and this room is easily in my top 3. Shawn, our game master, was really communicative and encouraging. He gave us clear hints when we asked a couple of times, and then gave us some helpful nudges along the way, too. Even though it's a small space and just one room, it was really fun, flowed intuitively and the tech was RAD! The story line was cool, and made sense, too. And I love that the theme is an homage to my city of LBC. We will definitely be returning to do The Lab. Can't wait! read more

What a great addition to Long Beach! We did both the queen Mary and the lab and had a lot of fun! Jack was very helpful and it's clear a lot of thought went into the escape rooms. It's especially nice that you are able to customize the level of difficulty for each room. We did the lab at intermediate difficulty and found that to be very enjoyable. We did the queen Mary at advanced and found that to be great too as it's the easier room of the two. Definitely worth a visit! read more

We love escape rooms! So with my brother and his gf in town we were looking for something to do. Our group consisted of 3 adults and an 11 and 13 year old. I remembered seeing the FBI van at the Christmas parade and voila! I made a reservation online which was super easy and user friendly. We arrived and were walked to the waiting room next door as the suspense built for the the excitement to come. Once in the "area" we were given a short set of instructions told a real nice story and we were off. We chose "The Lab" which was a fun take on a government sect where we got to be honorary agents for the 55 minute escape. The ambiance was super fun and engaging; a lot of things tied into each other so there were nice built in hints. Although we failed to get out, I felt like we were so close...literalllllly a close flip away. We will be back for sure. A great family adventure ‍ read more

This was an incredible first escape room experience!! Our game master was the most patient most kind woman! (I apologize for not remembering her name) it was my birthday and four of my friends went. We chose the lab room and we walked away in awe. The mental disassociation you get, not thinking about your mundane tasks and responsibilities was worth more than the price. We solved the puzzle at stage 2 with 4 people. We are 4 theater adults (30-32yrs old) and it was like the adrenaline you get from being in Comedia del Arte. This is a normality we will do in the friend group from now on! Apparently the guy who created this one created a couple in Los Angeles. We will be doing all of them! Recommended more than 100% if you want an experience that will leave you fulfilled and accomplished. It's an escape from the real world! Mind blowing. read more

Just played the Queen Mary room with my friends. We have played around 10 rooms before this one and we were really excited because of the high reviews left before. We were really excited about the high tech qualities it was said to have. We choose to do the 3/3 difficulty & came to the learn there was only one extra puzzle added. Also the only "high tech" quality there was, was a moving piece of furniture that cut out 2 minutes of your game. There was also a really small crawl space that that you had to crawl through multiple times. Also, we never wanted to ask for a clue but whenever we looked confused our game master told us exactly what to do, it wasn't a hint. There was only one room which is what the space allowed so I get it, but for $35 each in a group of 3 not really worth the price. The theme was cute but boring at times, most of the technical aspects didn't work like the moving doors. All in all, there are definitely better options for escape rooms in SOCAL that are more worth the price . Let me know if you need some recommendations! read more

I appreciate how nice the staff are here. I'm bummed that the room was so linear. It's hard to do with so many people. We are also super picky and critical. We've done a lot of rooms, I would recommend this for newer escape room folks. We were stuck on one puzzle for awhile and it turned out the mouse on the computer had dead batteries.... they should check that when setting up the room. Again we're being super nit-picky. This is definitely the best escape room in Long Beach, and possibly the only one now that the other place seemed to have closed. read more
