When I called to confirm my rental he recalled chatting with me the month prior. He picked us up at the airport and chatted us up about our stay and we learned a lot about his experience in Kent and his experience as a rally race car driver! A personable touch which I appreciated and you often get with local businesses. The checkout process was incredibly straightforward with no frills. Provide payment and proof of insurance, do an inspection of the vehicle and you are on your way. Just a heads up, the cars are used, but they are well maintained. When we experienced issues with the car Lui was quick to respond and resolve our issues. I look forward to booking with Mashariki Rent A Car during my next trip to Seattle.

But the staff team that works the SeaTac venue was truly seamless. It was Gabe who first assisted me to confirm my paperwork and I think that took less than 10 minutes because I've been able to make the reservation by phone. I want to be really clear that I talked to a human to make the reservation and that made all the difference for me. The online version of it was inefficient and didn't allow me to ask questions and get clarification that I needed so I hope Enterprise continues to allow customers to talk to human Customer Service representatives because not all questions can be answered online. Then I was sent to the next area which involved some trepidation because it was a vast area of garage space but immediately Natalie who was part of Enterprise approached me and took my tentativeness and turned it into confidence. She walked me past several areas and made sure that I was put into a vehicle that suited my concerns. And instead of feeling limited by my selection upstairs I felt I was actually given some options in which car I could land in. That made a tremendous difference. Her welcome was genuine and she was very helpful. So between Gabe and Natalie I had a great car pick up experience. And then I'd like to mention Christian who helped me get out of my car when I returned it 24 hours later. He helped me figure out why I would not get a day return back Despite returning at 12 hours earlier, and he was friendly and very positive about his work. I think he was celebrating a work anniversary actually but I don't remember which one it was. Regardless kudos to Enterprise for having such great staff work with us to make a car pick up and car returns simple and seamless. My only issue now is that I left some keys in the car and I would love to figure out how to get a hold of them. I did email Enterprise but have not heard back. I wonder if there is a more direct route to figuring out Lost and found items?

I've used several different companies before but Enterprise generally has a pretty good rate. My last experience with Enterprise was one of the worst rental experiences I've had. At first, it was nice that they offered the choice of a car to me, and provided some full-size sedan options at no cost for an upgrade. I took a Nissan Altima. As soon as I pulled out of the registration, warnings started going off on my dashboard about low tire pressure. I checked the tire pressure and noticed it was enough to make it to my destination so I didn't pay it any mind. The destination I went to had no service stations nearby, so I e-mailed into Enterprise to ask about the issue. They said I could return the car or pull into a Firestone. It took a few days for me to get to the Firestone but once I did, the technicians took a look and found a deeply embedded nail into the tire that was slowly leaking air. I had attributed the tire pressure fluctuation to the cold weather. They filled the tire back up enough to where I would make it back to the airport. I reported the issue immediately via e-mail and to the manager on site. I'm leaving a 3-star instead of a 1-star because previous experiences have been fine, but this last one was straight up dangerous. Inspect your cars well before taking them out.

We had zero issues each time we rented the Prius. Our truck still isn't fixed and I know if we need the car in a week we can get a great reliable car with zero hassle and for way less than other rental places. Our confirmed reservation was for a medium sedan, with an upgrade from our insurance company plan…read more When we got to SeaTac, all they had left was a budget economy sedan whose trunk barely would allow us to store two or four suitcases (2 large, 2 medium-sized). We went back up to the counter and asked if we could get the car we reserved -- and waited for a "manager" to hear our complaint. Waited more than two hours. My girlfriend, who made the reservation, is at the top of Budget's incentive rewards class, which in this case did us no good. Of course, we could drive back on Monday and talk to a manger, there being none available on Saturday (so shift supervisor, either). Tire pressures were all low, one tire indicating less than 15 psi; car inside windshield and windows were filthy... hate thinking what was sprayed on the inside of the windows... car floor and seats were also filthy, and the car smelled like smoke, pot, and dirty dog. Windshield spray reservoir was empty, and the motor oil level was below the minimum line, perhaps as much as 1/2 - 3/4 qt. We had to add almost 4 gallons from an indicated nearly-fuel level of "full" to actually be full: that's the game people play, I guess, but the gas gauge wasn't quite at the line for Full. We called Budget and were promised recompense for the gas tank being "not full" -- but after some time, Budget doesn't seem to want to honor their promise. Never again. It was a car: that's about it.

The vehicle was the issue in that it smelled like it had been used as an ashtray. This was the only vehicle available so I took it. Returned it several hours later and came home smelling like smoke. The same counter person helped me with the return, and was apologetic. Now here is where the 4 stars come in......I notified Budget Customer Service by email and got an almost immediate reply, filled with apologies and a suggested solution that was very satisfactory. Customer Service is one of the most important factors of a business operation these days, and these guys rock in that category!

She'll sit there and smile while you're expressing your frustration and even walks away and helps other people, checks in cars while you're standing there and she says nothing. You're just left there thinking she's working on your reservation while she's not. She's just ignoring you. She wouldn't call a manager or check if there was a way to bypass the extra deposit since it wasn't needed from the start. It also served as temporary crash pad for my husband and son who were exhausted and slept through my solo shopping adventure in the Pike Place Market. Airport pick up - waited 30 minutes as there were was a couple at the desk and a group of 4 men (all together) in front of us on a Saturday morning at 0800 with one worker. Another man came up the front desk to help the lone woman working, so it went by quickly after the 30-min mark. Service was nice and efficient. Got a silver Toyota RAV4 which was nice, since I am familiar with this sized small SUV. Car mostly clean except for the nasty, sticky steering wheel. It's a good thing I take my own Lysol wipes on the plane, for the rental cars, the hotels and cruise ships. Lysol wipe was dirty after cleaning the steering wheel. Yuck. Picking up the car was nice at the airport as it was straight-forward, but confusing for the return once back in town at the 3rd avenue location (see separate review).
