This was my first escape room experience and I went with coworkers as a team building event. I've since been to others and this location and building was subpar. Even the inside lobby was old and not inviting. My initial reaction to escape rooms here was a bit gimmicky and corny, but then I started getting into it. My group was all new to escape rooms at the time and we didn't even make it to the second room lol! So I can't comment too much on the whole experience here, but based on the half experience and as compared to the now 2 other locations I've been to, I would say this is definitely a subpar location and experience. Bought a Groupon and went with my boyfriend. We had some trouble finding the location, but we called the owner and he guided us there without issue. From the moment you step in, everyone is in character and you start to worry about what you're in for and are immersed in the experience. Me: I've been to more than 12 escape rooms in many different states. This is definitely one of the more unique and well executed ones. Great staff, excellent clues. Many ways to get out and no red herrings so you don't waste time. We did not escape, I think because at many points we didn't work as a team, but still a good time. My only issue was with one of the other players we were with. In total, there were 12 of us and it seemed like there were way too many people shouting over each other. One player even pushed me out of the way more than once and tried to grab something out of my hand twice. This has never happened before in any escape game I've been to. This doesn't reflect on the room or the business, or the rest of the people I was there with, but this is to say, not everyone works well with others and some have not been in an escape room environment before and can't handle the anxiety/stress level you can sometimes experience. I advise everyone remember it's a game and it try to have fun, stay calm and work on communication skills along the way. Great place, would love to come back if there is a new puzzle!! read more

Thank god, I've done escape rooms before. If this was my first one... I would have been completely turned off to the concept. First off we had 11 people in the room. Waaaaaaay to many people. In an attempt to maximize profits, they sacrificed the experience. With 11 people, I was immediately turned off. I stood around not really getting involved as all of the puzzles had 3 or 4 people hovering around them. The zombie was of no consequence. All he did was cut the room in half and cram 11 people in half a room. The puzzles could use an overhaul... although, the scale puzzle was dope. A lot of dead ends. If you can get this room with only 6 people it might play ALOT better. But for 11 (and 1 cancelled so they tried to fit 12) there wasn't enough puzzles to go around. I've done several escape rooms and this was not a favorite. Too many people, you can't hear anything, and the person in the room was giving fake clues and wasting our time. There are several locks, and a lot of things you don't even need to open. Wish things were more creative, again, lots of just locks. Not helpful to have the locks locked back up and not know what has been done, so you are trying to open something that has already been opened. Again, just too many people, and very loud. This room was very gimmicky and not fun. the professor in the room was a distraction and added little to the experience.

Great time with friends or even people you barely know! The zombie was scary and I spent the whole game on the opposite corner of him. The host was very nice and funny and we didn't have to use any hint from him and still beat the record time by 2 minutes! Our group was able to beat the room in 35 minutes! Definitely recommend it especially since there are so many different ways to get the final answer and get out of the room! read more

This was an amazing experience! My boyfriend and I went for a date night and we were placed with 5others! Before we even got there Kevin called us and helped us find the location because it's a little tricky to find! When we got there the whole staff was amazing! Our group did escape and we all made it out alive! Teamwork was key! The other people we were with were awesome! The zombie was so freaky but once you find out how to tame her it's not as scary!!! I bought a Livingsocial Coupon and had been trying to book a reservation since August 2018. Apparently they were shut down for inspection. The guy Hook kept telling me that it would be re-opened soon. The last time I called was Dec 2018. He said hopefully it would be opened in Jan 2019. He asked me to email him and he would let me know. This is my second Zombie escape room and about my 10th escape room total. We escaped with 20 minutes to spare, not bragging just don't want to sound like a poor loser. Pros: 1. The clues led in different directions so you rarely had everyone in the room looking at the same problem. 2. There were some unique ways of presenting puzzles. 3. The guy accompanying us in the room was entertaining. Cons: 1. WAY WAY WAY too many people allowed in one room, I came with 5 other people and there were 4 more that joined us. Imagine a room the size of a normal bedroom with 10 people in it then cut it in half by a zombie. 2. I am all for "red herrings" but this room had almost three times as many of them than actual clues. 3. Almost all of the locks follow the same format, I dont want to give anything away but all the locks have the same amount of numbers/letters. With so many lock choices this seems a bit lazy. 4. Pretty low tech. With so many of the rooms using RFid, touch screen, and laser technology to move the game forward, this one relied mostly on doing something to get or just plain finding a combination to one of the locks. 5. The story was pretty lax. Watched a video of the zombie breaking down the door, then went into the room and it was just lying on the table. The video didn't seem to be necessary. 6. The zombie was pretty low energy, most of the time you forget he/she is in the room until you have to get something on that side of the room. If it were me here is where I would improve it: 1. No more than 6 people per slot. 2. Create a story line people can immerse into. The zombie is the Dr. he was looking for a cure but didn't want to be able to escape as a zombie so created a series of puzzles that only a sharp mind could escape. Have players feel like they were coming in to see the Dr. and got trapped...door closes and locks behind them or something. 2. Change locks. Some words some letters some numbers. 3. More high tech puzzles. 4. Zombie. The zombie cannot be walking around and be a real threat no one would be able to escape. Instead have the zombie crawl around, his/her actions could be fast and scary and still give players a fighting chance. Also, remaining quite and then periodically bellowing seems to work for frightening people...unless there are 10 people in the room all trying to communicate then it will never be silent enough to notice.
