$15 coverage fee. Great music and great environment. You just need to be with the right people.

I always have fun here. Lots of people just out to have a fun time. Not alot of white people here. Drinks aren't too high.

First, I think it's very predatory to charge as much as they do for things at the bar. $13 for a can of Dos Equis? $8 for a La Croix? $7 for a bottle of water? Say what you want about scarcity and economics but this is just a miserable way to treat people. Pregame, bring a flask, do whatever you have to do. Cocktails are $18 and served in a small plastic cup and are mostly ice. Just unbelievably bad value there. The Aoki show had an absolutely miserable parking and traffic management situation. Abysmal. But the worst was the complete lack of line management. The line wrapped all the way around the building. It was raining. There was no covering of any sort so anyone who was standing in line was just getting soaked. What if it had started completely pouring? Again just a terrible lack of planning or concern for the customer experience. And it WAS pouring a little before we got there. Why wouldn't they have something figured out for this? You don't care if your patrons are standing out in the rain? They did not have anyone monitoring the line. It would have moved much faster if someone had been walking the line reminding people to have their IDs and tickets at the ready. Furthermore, there were actually 2 lines, and one of them was wrapped around the building while the other was right next to it and at one point was being fed by the same wraparound but then started to have people bypassing the long line and walking straight up. Staff had no signage and no way to make this clear. If anyone who works here ever bothered to attend a concert like a regular patron does, they would probably see these things pretty easily. Once inside we did not have any problems but I avoided getting ripped off at the bar and went upstairs where it was less crowded. It would be nice to have some venues that care a little bit more.

Management and staff there suck balls. Crazy power trip from one of them saying "this is my parking…read morelot and yall need to get the fuck out"after telling him our friends were inside and we are their ride. And then like a group of 10 of the staff were all watching me drive away. One of them was on the phone, which I can assume was talking to the police. Avoid this place at all cost.

Went for a special night, reservations and everything, even arrived 10minutes earlier. We were not greeted by a server for 20-30 minutes PAST our reservation time, and to add on to that no water. We are typically pretty patient individuals, but eventually we flagged a waiter down, and from there the night flipped. I believe the server's name was Michael, great fellow and attentive. The FOH manager, Chris was phenomenal. Mistakes are inevitable in the restaurant industry so we understand. It is what is done after the fact that is a tell. They were great. Food was great and came out faster (On the fly). Now to the food and drink The cocktail martinis are great, cant go wrong with any. (We had the French 76 and Bleu&Gold) The Vin Scully Fries are great for the table Ribeye was great, cooked at correct temp. The Spicy Rigatoni (Zaza) was the favorite. The added sides were great complements but nothing stood out for us. Great FLUFFY cheesecake, I am not a fan of thick cheesecake, and this one was just right for the texture. We'll be back Valet parking Complimentary Limited street parking on a busy road Great interior, comfy seating

Pricey poisoning nightmare!…read more What was supposed to be a fancy celebratory night out ($725 with tip) at Drake's for my MIL's birthday ended with one of our family members in the ER and another 2 attached to the toilet (including my 72 MIL). This was roughly 6 hours after consuming seafood from this establishment. The frustrating part is we actually sent one of the 2 dishes back reporting to staff it had a strange odor/taste and was told we weren't familiar with lobster taste (being from NY this is untrue). My MIL was too embarrassed to send hers back so she ate her entire plate and my husband had about 1/4 of his before exchanging it for an alternate dish. As an emergency service provider I fully understand medical incidents like this can happen anywhere, but what prompted this review was way the situation was handled following my reporting. After reporting the incident to management we were met with what felt like an aggressive line of questioning about the members of our medical team and related details. I was told the incident would be escalated to upper management and the team would reach back out, but this never happened, even after a follow-up email. So, it's safe to say after spending a significant amount of money on what was supposed to be a special evening, the entire experience left a very bad taste in our mouths. At the very least, I would have expected some sort of gesture of goodwill or attempt to make the situation right -- even something as simple as a gift card or invitation to return for a better experience. Unfortunately, that never happened. Based on this experience, I would not choose to return and cannot recommend Drake's to others.

What a great place for an intimate concert or music event! I saw David Archuleta in the Cambridge…read moreroom, and I was the first one that I have been to a concert in this specific side room of the house of blues. It was small, intimate, and super fun! Everyone was super respectful about personal space, In the audio was fantastic. There was a much table outside of the room as well as a small one right when you enter the room. This stage was rather small, but it also allowed the audience to see the performers pretty close up. David was super super talented. The two dancers that he had on stage also was a great addition to his vocals. Band was also really good. It was also pretty easy to get an Uber when the concert finished. We definitely recommend seeing one of your favorite artist here, especially since it's such an intimate venue compared to big stadiums in arenas

HOB is always very chilly inside and this was no exception. The decor is very nice and since it's small you always have a good view. Only 2 things I did not like. 15 dollars for a canned beer is outrageous. Shots of good alcohol were cheaper at 12.99. The bartender was less than pleasent and very crusty. Then with the show still going on she was closing down the bar. It was before 11pm and people were still wanting drinks. I would live to go here again though just for the room and the sound
