The website alone is reason to be put off by BCI…read more Their online services can be described as clunky at best. Sure it's straight forward to pay but not so much to find out what you owe, it's very off-putting and feels shady. That coupled with a $5 convenience fee contributes to a bad experience. I thought that my experience might be atypical but upon reading other reviews I found that the aforementioned issues are nothing new. Given this, my confidence and trust in BCI is low.

Update following a negative experience at the beginning of this month regarding a monthly payment…read moreand a change in payment method; following a monthly payment made at the beginning of March, 2026, which seemed to never actually leave my bank account, BCI did a payment reversal 3 days later without any kind of notice to me that one was going to occur. I was then sent a strange looking slip of paper in the mail 5 days later that they needed payment for March, and my BCI account now has a $10.00 late fee posted. Maybe I am simply not understanding the processes that this organization uses, but the fact that there is very little communication or attempt to get me to understand what is going on here leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I have little faith in BCI.

We were in touch with Danbury Automotive as soon as we saw the car advertised, and from the moment we pulled up to this small dealership/repair shop, everything was friendly, clean, orderly, and confidence-inspiring. The owner and salesman were just as personable as could be and made the whole process comfortable and expedient. That was just the start. We ended up purchasing a second-hand 2011 Subaru Forester, based on the information given to us by the salesman, our test drive, and the shop's guarantee. Not only that, but the owner drove 40 miles to have the car registered and inspected in New York State; he made sure the oil was changed, new wipers and light bulbs were installed, the engine was cleaned to spotlessness, and the gas tank was filled. We have a complete record of the repairs done to the car since it arrived at Danbury Automotive, and they'll keep it on file for years. The CarFax report was also given to us. This is an all-around great dealership, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. It was a little out of the way for us -- we live in Tarrytown -- but it was well worth the drive. Five stars and a big "thumbs up"!

WARNING -- DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP…read more I had been speaking with their salesperson for over a week and made it very clear that my credit is low and that I urgently need a car to work and take my child to medical treatment. They repeatedly assured me that I was approved and that the payment would be about $300 per month. When I arrived at the dealership, they aggressively pressured me to leave a deposit immediately. Trusting their word, I paid $4,500. Only AFTER taking my money did they suddenly change the terms and say the monthly payment would actually be $560 -- almost double what was promised. I refused the deal and requested my money back. Now it has been over 10 days, and they still have my money. They keep telling me to come back "tomorrow" for the refund. Each time I go, they ask for my card again, claim they processed the refund, and then nothing happens. I have already been there multiple times. Today I called my bank, and they informed me that the refund was canceled by the merchant. Meanwhile, my family has been without a car, my wife cannot work (she drives for Uber), and I am struggling to take my child to school and treatment because of this situation. This business uses bait-and-switch tactics, high-pressure sales, and delays refunds while holding your money hostage. Be extremely careful. Read the 1-star reviews -- those reflect the real experience. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this dealership.

That's my opinion of the organization overall but I will base this review on this particular branch. I visited today with my daughter because she's been sailing coins for months & it was finally time to make that big deposit. Now I've been down this road before, usually when you want to deposit a large amount of coins the banks will tell you they have to be all rolled up first then send you home to start the tedious task but not today. I was pleasantly surprised when the teller gave us wrappers, sorting machines & a little coin holder that allows you to slide the rolls into the paper very easily. Then.... get this.... she points us to a lounge in the back with tables, chairs, a TV, tea & coffee where we can sit and get down to business!!! How about that!?!? Every time I interact with Navy Federal they surprise me in a great way every time! The staff was so pleasant and friendly. Another teller even came over during our rolling time & complemented my daughter on her saving habits! It really made her feel good.

I had to sell a car for my Grandma and was recommended to this place by a buddy of mine. I knew it had a good reputation, but was pretty new so I figured I'd give them a shot. The guy I worked with wasn't pushy at all and really helped by giving me good honest advice. Before I came here, I spent some time shopping around. I went to a couple of dealerships and a few private people. Basically got the run-around and wasted a lot of my time for no reason. The whole process wound up being really easy. I had cash in my hand within an hour and was happy with the price. Wish all my experiances buying or selling cars was this simple.
