I would highly recommend Eric's Tree and Landscape Pest Services to anyone having questions about their trees. I called Eric at around noon on a Wednesday with questions about my Cypress trees. I thought it would take a few days for him to come out and see my trees. To my surprise, he was able to come that same day! He was in my backyard a few hours later. I don't know if he can do that for everyone that calls but I don't doubt that if it's possible, he'll meet you that same day. He was able to give me good advise. Although my trees are too far gone to save, he gave me good suggestions and an honest opinion. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to sell me something that eventually wouldn't work on my trees. I ran across Eric's tree and landscape services while doing an online search for how to treat pine trees. My pine tree was infested with some type of beetles, and I did not know what to do. Over the phone he gave me a quote and let me know how much he charges to diagnose and also how much he would charge approximately, if treatment is needed. He took his time to speak with my husband over the phone later on, as far as how to proceed and what to expect when he comes in. We were able to make an appointment very easily. He texted me when he was on his way and when to expect him. He showed up within the time window he provided. Eric came to do his assessment this morning on our pine tree and gave his honest opinion that the tree would die most probably within two years max, even if he treats it. He said the tree appears to be infested with beetles and termite for several years. He warned us that if we don't treat or remove the tree, the termite would eventually attack our fences and our home. He told us he does not do removal services, so we'll have to call another company to get a quote. He also was very nice and took his time to check on other fruit trees we have in our backyard, and give us opinion on what to do and how to get them healthier. He also gave advise on what kind of trees to plant, after we remove the pine tree. I am sad that we'll have to remove the pine tree, unfortunately, but Eric did provide us a great service afterall. A few years ago we were having a bad ant and spider problem and we waisted money on all kinds of sprays and supplies but nothing worked. Then I looked up Eric and found out he was a local living right here in Fillmore. He was happy to take a local job and was very flexible scheduling me in. Eric spent about 20 mins spraying and doing his thing and I have not seen a single spider or ant since. Eric comes out once a year and his prices are so reasonable that you would end up spending more money if you were to try to do it yourself. AS GOOD AS IT GETS!! He quickly diagnosed and treated my 2 - 40 foot tall Liquid Amber trees that I thought I was going to have to get cut down!! He has saved my trees! I live in Sylmar and the shade of any tree is really needed, plus I love these trees as they are so lush and beautiful. I had previously gotten some bad reports on what was the matter with these trees by several other "knowledgeable" tree experts.
